The doll was probably her safety net, something she turned to when she felt vulnerable.

These people werent here for counciling, they are insane and that isnt going to change any time soon. The best he could do is let them know he is there for them, not a threat. While he was used to Evie remarks and quick thinking jabs, it was refreshing to be addressing a slightly calmer individual.

Maybe Zuzu could be a break from Evie, although they were strangely similair in appearance, perhaps apart from Evies slightly more pinkish hair colour and punk look. No matter, the alarms had stopped so all was well. He'd get round to Evie in an hour or so, she would be having fun with Hannah anyway.
