Too Many Collaborations?! (pyroman & Major Ursa)

The young man hummed in thought as he listened to Yumi's next question. He was about to voice his opinion before Kyoko spoke up. Yuuto simply sighed and put the sketchbook away from view. He wished that Kyoko didn't have to say something weird every time somebody said something, but he knew that his wish would not be fulfilled. He could tell that the others didn't really have anything to say on Koyoko's words, and scratched the back of his head as he looked around, the classroom getting quiet. Seeing movement from Julie, Yuuto turned around in his seat to look at her phone. It was a little strange to him to see Julie smiling and in a maid outfit, but he could tell that she enjoyed coslpaying. He had given it some thought before, but always ultimately decided against doing so. With a smile and a nod, he gave her a thumbs up. "It looks really good!" He answered her truthfully.

Name: Pendleton "Penn" Howl Age: 41 Gender: Male Appearance: Penn masked appearance: The Reaper Mask: Mask Abilities: Penn is a borderline prodigy and proved it during his time as a university teacher. Masked Abilities: Levitation - Penn does not call it flight, as he moves around with the absence of external forces, and doesn't push against anything. Umbraspace/Hammerspace - Reaper can put himself and other objects into shadows, using them as gates to the void. He cannot put other humans or living beings into the void, as it lacks air. Night vision Limited Pyrokenesis, black flames. Personality: Masked Personality: Reaper is a being of justice, and has little sense of mercy. He knows when he isn't enough to handle a situation, and isn't afraid to ask for help from other masked beings. Biography: Pendleton Howl was born in Australia, but he and his parents moved to America so he could be raised in a small town in northern California to a family with a comfortable lifestyle. He was raised well, and was almost considered a child prodigy in sciences and mathematics. He excelled in just about all of his classes, and gained a full scholarship at the age of fifteen. Years later, Penn decided to take a trip back to his little hometown, and stumbled on a tiny store next to the road he was traveling. Deciding to take a look at what was there, he encountered an interesting mask. He was a man of science, but he still loved the stories of mythology and the impossible, so he bought the reaper mask and put it on. In black flames that burned with a pain like no other, he transformed for the first time into his alias known as The reaper. He kept the mask a secret from everyone, including his own family. and only put it on again when he returned to his home near the college he now taught at as a professor. He became The Reaper again, fighting crime and all of the normal superhero things, but in his down, Reaper way. As the years went by, the thoughts and abilities of the reaper began to linger onto his normal body, eventually to the point where he could create small flames and hide in the shadows without the mask. By then, he had already found the institute. It was old and run down when he found it. No signs of human life anywhere. He repaired it, recreated the facility in the middle of nowhere. During this time, he studied the mask as much as he could, wanting to unlock the secrets that were within the mask. One by one, people with masks showed up at the institute, all with the same questions. He offered to help them, as long as they could help him with his research. It became a base of sorts for masked heroes and villains alike, even with their remarkably small numbers. They grew over time, but even the masked men and women were susceptible to an early fate out of Penn's hands.

Hidden Truths

Trace wandered aimlessly through the town of Califum. Because of the neighboring town of Gravity Falls, he knew about the supernatural events that apparently happened within the area. he didn't really listen to all of the spooky mumbo jumbo, though, as he was too busy listening to whatever was playing through his headphones. He considred taking one of those tours to get a better grasp of the town, but usually decided not to. Feeling a rumbling in his stomach, Trace decided to wander to the KFT. There was almost nothing better than turkey that you could get all year round, and the young man found himself going there quite a lot during his time in the town. There was an interesting cast of characters in Califum, and Trace certainly didn't mind it. It was a nice change from what he was used to, and he could endure weird people if it meant not listening to his father's rants about being manly, and what little harmless things he should never do because they could ruin him for life.

Masks

hmm. It certainly is an interesting mask, and as displayed in the game, it can have lingering effects on the wearer. I'll say yes, but due to the immense power of the mask, some things may have to be limited in order to not have an overpowered character.

I'm always open. the lack of direction is intentional, to allow more more diverse characters, and I like to think that it wold keep people on their toes, without having a sense of what may or may not happen.
