So many people were eager for class, it was rather interesting, Raven thought. Never had she seen to many young minds ready to get beaten the tar out of in her Combat Training class. It was an optional class, normally taken by those who wanted to make a difference by becoming X-Men. She also had a basic training class as well, just for those that wanted a little more protection in a world that still wasn't completely accepting of mutants. But right now, it was Combat Training. Time for the heroes-to-be to show her what they had been working on since the day before.

Heidi, Shawn, Samuel, Tatiana, and Chrys all regular stars of her class. They all performed well, but she wanted to start implementing some changes before the new year. She only had a little more than a month until 'Holiday' Break, and she wanted them to be ready for what she was going to throw at them in the second semester.

Shawn had just arrived in the Danger Room, cutting it a little closer than normal, but he was just as ready as everyone else was.

Of course, she couldn't forget Zack and Griffin, Jean-Paul's nephew. He was going to be joining the class as well. A telepathic note from Charles also alerted her of another one, Nate, on his way. They school was easy to start whenever, so it wasn't that big of a deal that Nate and Yeti were starting up most of their things only now.

She waited patiently for them all to arrive before she started to speak. Though she was not in her Official X-Men uniform, she was dressed for light hand-to-hand combat. She hardly aged after all of these years, and she was just as fit as she was back in the seventies.

"Alright, everyone. Before we get started today, I'm going to take this time to remind you all that just because December is getting closer, it is absolutely no excuse to start rushing things so that you'll have as much free time as possible. If you're in any clubs, affiliated with any Staff-Teams, then your break is already looking a little packed, sorry." She didn't sound all that sorry. She paced across the danger room floor, looking at the teens before her. She couldn't exactly introduce Zack and Griffin. That was their own case to talk as freely or as little about as they wanted, and truth be told, she didn't know what much about the incoming Nate. "We do have some new arrivals in the class, though. A little introduction from them and what they can do, then we'll get cracking."

Charles smiled. It was understandable that a mind could wander. He surely knew that after all of this time. He rolled out on his wheelchair past his desk and over to the door. "Well, Nate. Your training will be overseen by Miss Darkholme. Mystique, if you know her better by that alias. You'll be sparring with your classmates, fighting robotic opposition, and Miss Darkholme and our resident mechanic Forge will make sure that everything coming your way is designed to help you in areas where you may fall a little flat, as well as sharpen the skills that you use the best."

He did his best to explain everything as the two traveled through the halls and through an elevator in the far back of the school. Only those with clearance were allowed downstairs at all, but even then you'd need additional clearance to access any of the rooms. Students usually only needed the danger room, but many of the teachers also slept down stairs. Not to mention the hangar, the war room, and various other rooms that only official X-men were allowed to enter. With forge helping, it was rather easy to install biometric scanners, of whatever he called them, so that the door need only look at you and judge if you are supposed to be there or not.

"As for my powers." The elevator door closed, leaving Charles and Nate in the pristine white box. "It's taken decades of training to hear only my own voice. Like any mutation, the only thing keeping you from progressing is the belief that your own body is beyond your control. You need only have willpower and patience to accomplish anything, Nate."
AND AFTER TWO WEEKS THEY FUSE

It was not something Carnelian exactly wanted to do. Neither did Sodalite, but they both understood the important of fusion, and how it was going to help them in their mission.

She was extravagant, almost overdramatic in the way that she leaned back, resting the back of her left hand on her face as her right hand moved as far out as possible, a feigning look of pain or despair crosser her features. "Oh Dahling, if it must be me now, then we shall get it over with~"

She was a character. Sodalite groaned and took the woman's arm. She took a step back as far as she could, her arm fully extended like Carnelian's. She then pulled, and Carnelian was brought closer. Sodalite watched as her partner spun into her arms, the two quickly fusing with little time to spare. There was a possibility that rushing it like that might not even work for fusion, but it worked now, and that was all they they cared about now. They wasted little time. There was much to do, and so many asses that deserved punishment.

"Charlotee. A pleasure." Mimicking the style of Vix, Charlotte introduced herself with a smile and a slight bow. It was good to hear that Tony held her in such high regard, though she couldn't help but let out one singular chuckle at the comment about her music choices. Well of course Tony would like them, most of the music originated from his library in the first place!

Her communication channel? That would be a great them for Vix to have if they were going to be working together for the foreseeable future. "Of course." She nodded and tapped her belt buckle. "COR, please give the kind lady what she wants."

"Sending the comm channel now, Charlotte." COR spoke back to her through the buckle, sending out the channel for Vix to connect to.

Charlotte didn't exactly want to step up and take the leadership role if Vix wanted it, but Vix was a new student, and this was her first day in the Advanced Training program. This was Charlotte's fourth year in both of these things. She was more experienced with handling such situations, so it would be wise for her to step up.

The two pristine hallways marked their entrance. So they'd be working together somehow, but still seperated. She was quite thankful that she had given out her comm channel when she did, unless, of course, Lang did decide to shut off such signals from being of any use during training. She wouldn't hold it against him.

She herself was left handed. Well, she was strange. She wrote and ate with her left hand, but her right was how she led her punches and threw things. Everything else was with both hands. She took the left hallway herself, if her strange line of thinking somehow directed her to that one, and smiled at Vix. "Alright, lets see what we have here."

She walked on. Not too far up, there seemed to be a drop off point on her side of the hallway, and a button waiting to be pressed right next to her. Charlotte's hands fiddled in her pockets, drawing out a small pair of earphones which she plugged into her ears. "Testing, testing." She said to herself. "Vix, can you hear me?"

The more that Kari collected her samples, the more she found small groupings of the same things. Not uncommon at all. Simple stuff, from what she has studied back home and on the ship. However, it did remind her of her situation. It was her decision in the end, after all. She was the only Mynua from her settlement on the entire ship. There were only a handful that had the honor of being apart of the expedition. Her people weren't horribly Xenophobic, but they were not completely welcoming of new people.

She really should talk to some people.

She felt that she had collected enough samples. Her pincers were just maneuverable enough for her to place everything that she had chipped away so neatly and carefully into the little containers on the pouch attached to her waist. She could return to the ship and get to cracking on those rocks. She giggled to herself. Even after all of this time, she was still so young at heart. She still had a long way to go, though. Due to the nature of her species and how they lived, they could be alive for quite a long time.

Kari needed to stop herself, though. She needed to go out and talk to the others. She had been a bit of a... A. Spider. The Brown one. The word escaped her. It didn't like people. She'd have to ask one of the Human crew members if they knew what it was. Bottom line, she didn't talk to the crew as much as she should have, especially as the Ambassador for the Mynua. Well, unofficial Ambassador. She needed to be friendly with the peoples. So many Kasha, she assumed. So many people away from their homes. Maybe she would find something in common with them, if she could only urge herself to actually go and talk to someone.

She wanted to speak. She really did. The only thing she did, though was just stand around on two legs awkwardly, looking for someone to talk to. Maybe she could go back on the ship and find someone on the way to her lab. Maybe she could just take a minute to walk around and get to know some of the people that she would be talking to in the near future.

For now, she just... sorta stood around, bouncing on her digitigrade legs. They were so thin, so bony and skinny. The mid layer of her skin practically didn't exist down there, other than where her legs bent, of course. It was a little weird, sometimes she was on her hands and legs, and sometimes just her legs. Human's didn't seem to do that. They didn't seem to be much for climbing through caves, though. She wanted to know more about them.

But she was rambling, keeping herself from actually talking to people. Maybe those Zenohunts first. She just didn't know what to do!
Should be getting a post up today, this has been moving surprisingly fast
