@Lauder any chance I could get a beam rifle as a possible req option? I didnt mention it in his CS as I though we were only meant to include our basic loadout but he'd have used beam rifles often during his time in the military. Also what are we saying about energy scimitars and such? I'm not desperate for one but they were used in contact Harvest by the jackals on the ship in that novel
Kax

Kax eyed his weapons with some distaste. The carbine was more than capable of eliminating most targets in a few shots but it didn't have the kick of the beam rifle he was so used to, whatever though, he'd make do with whatever these humans could give him. Work was work after all. After taking one last glance at his infusion station Kax placed his carbine on his back, his needler at his side and ensured his shield was functioning properly with a quick tap to ensure it activited. After a circle of red plasma lurched from the gauntlet he immediatley closed it and made his way out of his room to meet his new teammates.

As he entered the hallway he saw the human standing there already. He sighed at the rather pitiful thing, it was clearly not one of the so called 'demons' he had the fortune of not seeing during most of his campaign but he still questioned how anything so primitive and clumsy looking could ever have defeated his own race nevermind the entire might of the covenant empire. Before he could speak to the human the large ape-like Jiralhanae entered the hallway. The jackal groaned internally as he was put face-to-face with the only creature more primitive and clumsy than his other teammate, hell at least humans made easy enough raiding targets in peace time.

The Brute muttered something about his name, Zertus or something, and that they should head to the command centre. Kax replied back "Kax, and what's the name of you pink-skin?" adding the question on as he remembered that he wasn't just stuck with Zertus for the duration of this venture. After speaking he immediatley examined the corridor and slowly head in the direction of the control room, giving the human time to respond.
I'm going to be slow on responding for a few days however I'll try to get a post up tomorrow evening.
Alright so I pumped this out real fast, may be some issues I'm not sure. Anyway I'm going to go pass out now because I probably should have went to sleep like two hours ago now.

@Lauder settled on a kig-yar war veteran, just a few questions for this character.
1-what sort of weapons will we be allowed initially? I'm not sure whether he would use a typical covenant carbine or if a beam rifle would suit better
2-For his ranks should I just put the ranks given in-game for jackals? So in his case a jackal major and then sniper?
3- not really a question but just noting that jackals generally only have first names so just in case you arent aware that's the reason his full name is literally just a three letter first name :v
@Lauder Ohhh, are there spaces still available here? I'm potentially interested in making a kig-yar war veteran because jackals dont get enough love dammit or a sangheili of some description.
Saitou Izo

Izo eyed the 'holy' water for a moment, a deep frustration building inside. Did this fool truly think he believed that water could be made divine in some way? To even suggest a physical object made upon the mortal could be 'holy' in some way was at best laughable and at worse heresy! Yet Izo could not be angry, the poor fool was misguided and likely did not even remotely understand the way of things.

The ultimate fanatic drank the glass of very-much-not-holy-water without a word before answering Taya's question "Mm, men without guidance fall to their vice, whether that be lust, wrath or greed. I am not entirely sure which vice that one falls into but he seems to be a fool for certain."
He took another sip from the half-empty glass before adding "Oh, and if we all escape this place without there being a single death, you can tell me you told me so."
The Lycan Covenant

At the news of the rhino man trio being reported to him, Vlath knew what must be done. As Mex Silentpaw was the one reporting the new information to him in his makeshift shrine, he instructed her to send a pack of Silentpaw hunters back across the river and to the newly established Seagard, there they would meet up with two packs of Bloodfang warriors. This fighting force was to then travel to the holy sites and find the Rhino men and defeat them. They could not escape but if possible one should be brought back for questioning, however, if their capture endangers the warriors then they should end their lives.

Having given his orders to Silentpaw, Vlath was left alone in his tent. He decided it was time to go and see how his people were coping in their new home. As he walked from his tent he immediately saw that perhaps this move was for the best, the lumber being supplied was far closer and so wooden lodges could be erected far faster, the rabbits that had survived could hopefully survive on the dryer landscape and even the mountains were closer by... that would make them easier to mine, the stone would be needed for greater construction and greater shrines to the God's glory. With that thought in mind he sought out Goldtooth, who was overseeing the flow of lumber from the forest to the new settlement as it entered Wolfhelm. The Voidcaller simply ordered the lycan to find a group of scouts and to have them escort a goldtooth with some knowledge of the ways of the earth to survey the mountain and to find a potential location for a mine.

I'd be very happy to see EH make a comeback. I'm not sure where everything's up to for this project but I'd be happy to help where I can.
Also if Silvan's group of goodie two shoes are making a comeback I'm at least dragging my character back to life to combat them
