I would prefer it to remain Steampunk level tech myself, And I may be interested in this. But I would want to see details on ... well everything first. Setting, Rules, etc.
Yeah, the rules and the other important stuff will be set up, since there is tons of people here.

I'm tentatively interested.Are we talking a game set in the real world or a fantasy world? Likewise, are we talking hard science fiction or soft science fiction? Meaning, will the game be based on what's possible in the real world, or are we throwing realism out the window in favor of fantastic steampunk flying fortresses and subterranean colonies?
On top of all that, will this be another World in Revolution-style stats game, or do you have another system in mind?
We are talking about the game being a fantasy world, with the technology being the early or mid point of the Steampunk. This will hard science fiction with limits (of course) and the real world is out of the window and into the trash can. I'm thinking of making my own or just not doing stats at all, still thinking about it.
