I'm feeling really happy and pumped. Oh, and joyful. Haha.
Bio
Here's a list of things about me if you want to know a little bit more. Though if you actually want to get to know me, send me a PM, or talk over the OOC chat.
1. I don't generally like roleplays where my characters are forced to be serious 100% of the time; mostly because that's not how actual people work.
2. Yes, I use anime pictures for appearances. I've come to like anime less and less over the years, and personally only ever watch the movies now, and that's on incredibly rare occasions. I personally like using those over actual people faces, because people have too many specific details, and I can never find people faces that match the description I want. If you would like, I can use a text description instead.
3. I generally like to make 'pairs' of characters. Either characters that seriously contrast with each other, or work together really well but still have arguments and problems.
4. I've been forum roleplaying for just about 5 years now, and I've been tabletop roleplaying for 11 years now. I still suck at roleplaying despite being a 12 year veteran, but, what're you gonna do?
5. I really enjoy talking to people. Yes, society has gone downhill, but despite that I find serious enjoyment out of talking to people about anything. So, if I'm in an RP with you, just chat away with me. We can talk about mundane things, or go all-out on serious topics. I don't think I've come across a single person I've hated talking to, even if they were somewhat irritating or annoying. So please PM me, or just talk OOC.
6. I flipping love Inside Out, and as such, if you ever make an RP based around it, please invite me. I promise to behave of course. If one isn't made though, you know very well that I'll make my own, and I'll try my hardest to make it the best RP possible. Or, if you just want to talk about Inside Out, I'd love to do that as well.
7. Please make good characters. I understand Advanced Roleplayer's over on that section have no problem with this, but I don't like RPing over there. When I'm on casual roleplay, not many seem to care a whole lot about making good characters. They just make walking cliche's to get into an RP, and then completely change that character as the RP barely starts. It's annoying, lazy, and doesn't really make me want to accept you if I'm GM or co-GM.
Characters are the literal heart and soul of roleplaying, and should be treated as such. If you make your characters card-board cut-outs, it only tells me that you either don't care, are lazy, or that we absolutely need a moderate roleplay section on the forums to bridge the gap between posting 1-2 paragraphs with barely any work put into characters, and posting 6-8 paragraphs with enormously deep backstories, love, and care, put into characters.
8. I am a caring and nice guy, so don't be afraid to talk to me about anything. I'm fairly hard to offend, and even harder to make mad. I seriously enjoy getting to know my fellow members, so talk whenever you feel like it.
Kurano Tanaka
Kurano's face lit up when he saw a commotion arising. He was tired of writing up mundane things. He surveyed the situation, crowds of people, and wrote down whatever he could. Large commotion going on, extreme chance of thievery. Police force being incompetent as usual. He searched more for signs of any sort, and noted that whatever was supposed to be on display at stand #3 was now gone. Thievery theory proven. This would be so much easier if I had the power of sight. After sweeping across things one last time, he saw that the enormous man from before was now being escorted by a rather shifty looking person in a cloak. Possible suspects. Inform officers immediately so that they can be even more incompetent than usual. He roughly sketched the cloak and a muscular man, and looked to find some sort of officer in the premise. He noted one near those children, talking to them. Perhaps this one wasn't as bad as the rest.
Kurano approached the officer from behind. It looked like a crowd of people were circled around the man, as they waited for him to finish with the children. Kurano cleared his throat, and politely asked, "I'm sorry to be bothering you, officer, but it looks like there is a robbery in progress. If you cannot seem to deal with it, then why not call for backup? I do realize that you are busy with what's going on right now." Kurano attempted to be as polite as possible, seeing that the officer was in a fairly stressful situation.
Minami Shiroka
Minami was still sat at the table, satisfied with her meal. She watched as something was happening, but it didn't bother her. Minami still had a few scraps left over that she started placing into a pouch. She wondered what was going on, thinking that maybe they were showing off something grand and amazing. She was missing out on it. Minami got up from her table, and wandered towards the sounds of panicked people. She saw what looked like almost a tower of a man poking over people farther away. Minami was filled with curiosity, but needed to know what was going on where everyone was. She jumped up and down, trying to get a clear view of what was going on. She then tugged on the clothes of someone close to her. "Can you lift me up, please?" The person simply ignored her as she tried to get a better look.
I tend to post incredibly stupid stuff come 11:00 P.M. Over here. I definitely need to sleep now before I post something that I'll regret. See you guys sometime in the morning.
We've officially got not only a running RP joke, but also an inside RP joke. Hopefully you don't bring up the fourth dimensional toe cheese to anyone outside of this RP, or we'll never get new members. :(
I'm pretty sure that unless the guy brought his own sack lunch to the convention, or food was being shown off, it's likely that she took the gauntlets.
The "top 100s" is what almost everyone calls the richest kids in the school. They have chauffeurs that drive them to school in BMWs, and pretty much step on anyone they want to because they can. People attempted legal action, but like I said, they attempted it. Yeah, you get in bad with one of them, your life is over, and you move to a different state.
She could have mistaken the gauntlets for food, and unknowingly grabbed them. Then she will take a bite, and have nothing but gums and a tongue left in her mouth. She doesn't exactly have the power of smell, so it is probable. Although, why one of the stands would be exhibiting food, I have no idea. Maybe it's some sort of magic eggplant that can taste like anything you want it to taste like, but have the nutritional value of an eggplant.
By mine, and most of my friend's standards, you would be considered the luckiest kid on the block. Though, we always envisioned home school as being, "watch cartoons while you're doing homework." The only, and to be honest, only drawback of homeschooling is that if you don't like your family, you're essentially stuck with them 24/7. You also have less opportunity to make friends, but you can still make friends.
Sadly, if she wasn't in what I call the "top 100" I would gladly give her justice. I have no idea why I accepted a date with one of the "top 100s," but she may have intimidated me indirectly. I accepted possibly only because I thought it would give me some sort of notoriety. Date one of the "top 100s" and it's likely that people you want to impress will turn their heads your way.
Tl;Dr. Blah blah, high school drama. Blah blah.
I've been playing Dying Light all week, but I still have time to make grand opening posts.
Then, add on top the fact that my "date" deserted me with a bunch of other sweaty teenagers dancing to "turn down for what" in the school auditorium just a few hours ago. That's, probably the reason why I made such a long post. It's almost therapeutic for me. Let's me release stress in a way that's non-violent and social at the same time.
I decided to do a lot of character development with my initial post so that my character's personalities are a bit more clear. Don't worry, I'll generally keep to 1 or 2 paragraphs. On occasion though, I'll make really big posts when the inspiration wells up inside me.
I'm surprised that it took me this long to notice this, but Tek hasn't actually posted as one of his characters yet. Like he's building some sort of tension for it.
