I'm feeling really happy and pumped. Oh, and joyful. Haha.
Bio
Here's a list of things about me if you want to know a little bit more. Though if you actually want to get to know me, send me a PM, or talk over the OOC chat.
1. I don't generally like roleplays where my characters are forced to be serious 100% of the time; mostly because that's not how actual people work.
2. Yes, I use anime pictures for appearances. I've come to like anime less and less over the years, and personally only ever watch the movies now, and that's on incredibly rare occasions. I personally like using those over actual people faces, because people have too many specific details, and I can never find people faces that match the description I want. If you would like, I can use a text description instead.
3. I generally like to make 'pairs' of characters. Either characters that seriously contrast with each other, or work together really well but still have arguments and problems.
4. I've been forum roleplaying for just about 5 years now, and I've been tabletop roleplaying for 11 years now. I still suck at roleplaying despite being a 12 year veteran, but, what're you gonna do?
5. I really enjoy talking to people. Yes, society has gone downhill, but despite that I find serious enjoyment out of talking to people about anything. So, if I'm in an RP with you, just chat away with me. We can talk about mundane things, or go all-out on serious topics. I don't think I've come across a single person I've hated talking to, even if they were somewhat irritating or annoying. So please PM me, or just talk OOC.
6. I flipping love Inside Out, and as such, if you ever make an RP based around it, please invite me. I promise to behave of course. If one isn't made though, you know very well that I'll make my own, and I'll try my hardest to make it the best RP possible. Or, if you just want to talk about Inside Out, I'd love to do that as well.
7. Please make good characters. I understand Advanced Roleplayer's over on that section have no problem with this, but I don't like RPing over there. When I'm on casual roleplay, not many seem to care a whole lot about making good characters. They just make walking cliche's to get into an RP, and then completely change that character as the RP barely starts. It's annoying, lazy, and doesn't really make me want to accept you if I'm GM or co-GM.
Characters are the literal heart and soul of roleplaying, and should be treated as such. If you make your characters card-board cut-outs, it only tells me that you either don't care, are lazy, or that we absolutely need a moderate roleplay section on the forums to bridge the gap between posting 1-2 paragraphs with barely any work put into characters, and posting 6-8 paragraphs with enormously deep backstories, love, and care, put into characters.
8. I am a caring and nice guy, so don't be afraid to talk to me about anything. I'm fairly hard to offend, and even harder to make mad. I seriously enjoy getting to know my fellow members, so talk whenever you feel like it.
For now though, Kurano has to survive them. XD. Yeah, I'll post in the morning. Good night all, and thanks for your co-operation.
Wakey wakey, eggs and bacon!
I have risen from my sleep to clarify something. Everyone who's willing to stick through this, is awesome. I can't tell how many times I gave a minor critique and that person just going "screw that man, I do what I want." Then they give me the finger while they walk out the door. The twins can be acceptable if character development allows them to become less destructive and more helpful.
None of you really caused any trouble, because you didn't really resort to name calling or petty threats in order for us to "acknowledge your ideas."
You could allow a bunch of arena players on here and start this whole charade again. Anyways, I absolutely need to sleep now if I want to have even close to 6 hours of sleep.
My standards are dirt low. Why else would I accidentally accept those earlier apps?
Or, well, that's more hypocritical than anything. I said how bad some of those apps were, yet accepted them anyways. XD I'm really bad when I have a lack of sleep.
Username: Pie Flavor | Character Name: Jennifer(Jenni) | Character Age: 16 | Character Gender: Female
Sound: Jennifer was born blind in this world unfortunately however due to her flaws, her remaining senses have instead been finely tuned so she isn't hindered as much. However unlike the normal, only Jennifer's hearing has been enhanced, but it extends out of the range of what even a blind person be capable of as she has never needed a walking stick ever in her life, all she has needed was to be mindful of her surrounding and listen. It is simply nature's way of saying sorry for those who are unfortunately tasked to receive such gifts, and it sometimes compensates for a world lost to those who have to bear such gifts by making another for them to experience. However with the advance of technology, this ability to hear has further been expanded to the point of where she is sensitive to sound at random moments and requires the overall volume to be lower so it doesn't hurt her ears. Unlike other people who have this ability, her own prowess with this power extends what people can normally achieve as she has been listening her whole life.
Energy: (LOCKED)
Technology is a blessing in these days, which defies the will of nature as allows ways for people to overcome their flaws that have been etched onto by nature. However complete compensation for a lost sense is possible with today's advancing technology, Jennifer prefers to keep to herself in the world that only she knows and had strangely gotten another Fourth Dimension power known as Energy. It had allowed her to sense the emotions of people around her and effectively allowed her to 'see' another world that was separate from the one that she could hear. Now she is able to see the blobs of colors that walked among the streets that showed what other people were feeling and what they were thinking of doing for the day. Jennifer herself has helped a person however only once stopped themselves from killing themselves, with the use of her other dimensional power to read their mind and her new one to read their emotions. She did feel great about helping them but was doubting that hearing and seeing the emotions as well as thoughts of others was as good as she thought it would be.
Born from birth blind of a disease that she rather not mention, Jennifer has always been short and blind since she was born. Always being smaller than the regular student even the girls were taller than her sometimes, only falling short by several inches but she has always been self conscious when people says that she looks so cute at her height.
I do like that you have taken the time to explain her fourth dimensional powers, and there is quite a bit of exposition that gives us an insight on your character. One thing sticks out, the fourth dimensional powers, I believe, are most often acquired through a procedure that has a random outcome. Or a child can inherit on from a parent. If you could add that in and extend the biography I would say, perfect. Unfortunately I am not the GM.
You are, now. Because I become a complete idiot in the later hours of the day. So, whatever Unraveller said.
I just remembered that you're completely new to forum based RPs, and yet me being a 4 year veteran cannot come close to doing what you do. Teach me Based Unraveller.
can anyone look at Jennifer(my character sheet) to see if there needs any fixing? Besides the sort biography?
If you could possibly make a bigger bio, I will consider it. At least 2 paragraphs. Um, just noticed the end. Er, really, only the biography is a problem. Other than that you're golden.
