We're barely off the first page and someone is getting killed?

I love it.

Though that´s the thing. more than 50% of the time, a knife isn't going to kill at all due to the amount of wind resistance a knife would have unless it's a specially made one, not to mention due to the fact it goes end over end and the further it goes, the less velocity it will have by the end. Infact, they shouldn't be treated as a killing weapon unless you plan on stabbing. Better to use it to distract the person. HE is definitely going to flinch and hesitate and then use that opportunity to attack. Hell, that's what shurikens were mostly for, not for killing

That's why I asked how the fuck is Rachel going to do anything from the roof unless I have her use a gun. Throwing knives are only feasible if she was on the same rooftop as the guys coming out, and that would put her in Sayaka's field of fire. Plus she could very kill someone who stumbles back and falls off the roof, and don't forget she's a lot like Damian Wayne in the respect that both were raised to kill and then taught not to on the job - a rooftop is the last place you want her to be.

I think you might have misunderstood that I planned on using the throwing knives as a ranged weapon. They're maybe going to be used at ten meters, tops. Like if she has to put someone down in a corridor or something. Besides, we're not supposed to kill so they're actually the perfect weapon in close quarters. A guard that busts into the room can be taken out quite quickly with a knife to the leg, especially the tendons or knees. Plus poison/drugs are pretty effective on throwing knives too as long as you nick the skin enough to draw blood.

Speaking of knife throwing skills...

People always think that it's deadly when people throw knives at others but it takes quite a bit of luck and aim for that to happen. Shurikens are far better throwing weapon than a knife since it's pretty much a circular blade. Throwing knife, unless you are super strong, would not have the mass or the required velocity to kill at all. Injure? Probably, but most of the time it would just bruise because the pommel hit the target or the knife just bounces off the clothing. Knives are not good throwing weapons compared to things like spears or shurikens.

That's not exactly true. If an amateur does them, sure. But with enough practice you can pretty much gauge the spin of the knife and make sure it always hits your target blade first, plus there are different techniques of throwing them. It's useless against even rudimentary armor or an object in a pocket, but you're forgetting we're in a superhero RP and Rachel has superhuman physicality. From one rooftop to the next is a bit of a stretch to ask for instant kills or even dead accuracy, but I was assuming if Rachel was on the roof of another building and had to use her knives to stop someone escaping, it would be aimed at ziplines or whatever.

She has an energy dagger, a few trick knives aren't that out of the ordinary. Plus she grew up as a mercenary, I could give her a gun or something, I guess.
Daiki laughed nervously as Grizel seemed to brush off the whole misunderstanding. At that moment the anouncement came on, as their WATCHs were distributed and before Daiki could turn and ask Grizel if she was ready and to look for him in the forest, they were promptly thrown out of the airship. "I guess I'll find you lat-AHHHHHHH!" He ended with a yelp as the ground disappeared beneath him and he was in free fall in a hurricane of flying objects and people, unsure of what exactly had happened.

WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH THIS CRAZY SCHOOL?! Daiki wondered as a window was shattered near him and the currents pulled him out, the wind rushing past his ears drowned out everything while he tried to think of a way to survive the fall. It wasn't as if he hadn't dealt with heights back in the forest, but diving from the canopy was very much different from dropping from the sky. He knew how to break a fall from a tree and his sword could take a lot of stress before it snapped, but he needed to get his upper body facing downwards... without any momentum to aid him. Trees are nothing. You've been chopping them down for years. Come on!

Swinging his legs back, he had to use every bit of his core strength to position himself head first, with seconds to spare before hitting the canopy. He drew his blade just before he hit the first branch, sending his aura through the blade as an arc of energy was drawn with his slash and sliced through the trunk with explosive energy, sending a branch hurtling at him. His blade was back in its sheath and placed in front of him as the large projectile hit it and slowed Daiki's speed down enough so he could plant his feet on the tree without breaking his legs. He deftly kicked off the trunk and to the next tree, hopping from trunk to trunk as he finally slowed down enough to land on a branch without losing his balance. He could have made it all the way to the floor, but if years growing in the forest taught him anything, it was that the canopy was the safest place to be if you wanted to stay undetected.

He checked his WATCH and looked for Grizel on the map. She really was the only friend he had made, after all, and the chances that he would meet another person he could get along with, faunus or human, were pretty slim. The few characters he had observed so far hadn't exactly made great first impressions. Find Grizel, then the Caches, and don't get killed. Simple enough. Grimm infested forest is home ground for me after all. Daiki thought to himself as he patted his sword again. "Let's get to work, eh, darling?"

He found the wolf faunus' signal. Northwest. He made sure to get his bearings right before departing for her location, travelling through the canopy from branch to branch stealthily.
No... but whipping and disciplining is always fun. :D

Generate through electricity by having her heart go dokidoki around Daiki...

Or the R18 version, the movie Volt comes to mind
All you assholes hating on Daiki better watch out when you're in a forest... >:D

And Grizel will always be the harem alpha... No worries :D
Daiki wishes to transfer to Grizel's team and start on his harem.
