I'll probably re-introduce her at the next convenient point. Maybe right as the party leaves Adalrich? I could ease it in before that by having her send letters to the Council to push the members in the party's direction or just have her meet with one of them and then re-join the group.

I might give her a small dragon familiar (rests on her shoulder, so pretty small) that serves as a mount, like she supersizes it for travel or something. It runs on her mana so it's not really all that powerful unless she wants to leave herself vulnerable. Just as a big "fuck you" to all the seraphim that judged her for not having wings :D

- Dual pistols. Silenced. Range of high tech ammunition for different purposes.

Personality

Rachel is an introvert and distrustful of people in general. She speaks rarely and sparingly to those around her, and seldom offers her opinion unless it's to correct glaring errors in judgment. It gives people the impression she is condescending though she is far from it.

She is an avid reader and keeps a personal library of favourite books and authors. She has a liking for cute things like stuffed animals and puppies though she had precious few of such possessions and would never admit it. Literal warning shots are fired at whosoever confronts her about it.

History

Rachel Black was born to a family of mercenaries who were notorious for aiding in the civil wars and fighting of the African warlords. As such, she was raised to fight and kill at a young age, against men twice her size at least. Failure was met with painful disciplinary trainings. She served as an intelligence and wet work operative, silencing men in their sleep and using her age to get where others couldn't. Thus the nickname was given to her - Shadow.

Her family and mercenary group was ultimately betrayed by their employer, fearing they would turn on him, and walked into an ambush as they were caught between members of the Justice League who had come to stop them and their supposed allies who were behind them. Rachel was the only survivor and taking pity on her and desiring to give her a second chance, was taken under Artemis' wing and trained to be a hero instead of just an assassin or gun-for-hire.

Fearing her reception to the team would be less than welcome, Rachel's past was kept a secret from the rest of the Young Justice.

Reaper. 1) Would you mind having the teleporting be something she obtains or discovered later? 2) As far as the stealth tech goes I'd like you to allow it to be seen with infrared and the like until we get a sort of upgrade to our tech later on. With those two things said I feel no need to downgrade her strengths any further. 3) I'm fine with the history although I do sense much Artemis in her as opposed to Wonder Woman lol *looks at KF* KF: What? Me: Oh nothing KF. I find that the boy to girl ration has grown some :') I'm so happy there's more girls for Kid Flash to hit on.

1) By short-range I really mean she has to be able to see where she's teleporting, or at most from one room to the next. So it's more of an evasive ability than anything. If that's still overpowered than sure, I can remove it for now.

2) Sure, it was kind of a stretch anyway.

3) Well, I was purely considering since she's more of a melee fighter she'd probably benefit more from Wonder Woman's (or did Black Canary have a successor too? This IS several decades later) training than Artemis.
