Dead men tell no tales
So listen to this story from a whale
She sailed the silver river
But only found a purple butler
There was a grey parrot, and the crane both agree
That the turtle should search for the one manatee
Now you see your monster
Or maybe your insanity
The pirate needs more ales

Ryou had begun to relax again. Her complement helped him to regain his calm. "No you are fine. I was just a little surprised we got roomed together. I wouldn't kick you out. I'm guessing I wouldn't be able to if I tried." He moved back to his side and continued to unpack. "No, I'm not going to go either. I've been enough times." He assorted a pile of clothes and put them in his dresser. "So Chi, how long have you been here? And where are you from?" He began to think to himself again. This is still definitely crazy. She seems nice enough. And this year shouldn't be bad. I don't know why I was so nervous. I don't get even get nervous when killing people. I guess this was just a shock to me.
Oh is he? sorry, I thought he was the oldest so far, I guess Grey might be oldest and that would really make sense then.
It seems Faris made note of it, but are we assuming Grey is the one who rejected the old lady? Because that would be fine with me and the way I have been playing him it would make a lot of sense. Whether or not it was his fault completely, I don't know, but I think I would like if he had a major part in it. Something for him to really regret, and basically change him to who he is now.
@Prince of Seraphs

This is just my thought on it, but I feel whoever is older would have the upper hand in controlling the person if both tried to use the name at once. They have more power according to the lore.
Landon is going to be mad about the world too. Not so much for the people individually, but more like a pride thing. Like how could he let a bunch of aliens invade his world and cause so much ruckus. Someone needs to pay. @PerseusArchean =))

(Don't tell Perseus, we're going to get Sheo to come out and assassinate him. Only he can break the 4th wall.)

Cool, it's great. I think you have a convert as well, if it would work. I was wondering if making him more interested in the dark Gaia would make for some interesting turns too.

West was enthralled in her story about the light and dark Gaia. He was interested in history and the start of the world himself. Wondering which stories about the start of this world was true. He had heard simple stories about the light and dark Gaia before and it seemed like the most likely explanation to their world, but there were to many holes and questions he had about it to really think it true himself. That was until now. Vivianne's explanation was more in depth than any of the other stories he had heard about them. She told it with absolute certainty as well. There was very little if no hint of doubt to the truth she told. He had to take it in for a moment to be able to find the words to describe her story. "Well I think it was great. I've heard stories before, but none as good or detailed as that one. I've wondered about our beginnings, but very few have been able to give a good answer before. Maybe you can teach me more of the ways of the Gaia sometime. I'd actually really like to hear more about them and their teachings."

He was genuinely interested to hear more about both the light and the dark Gaia. He was interested in religious things, but his family and this world wasn't as interested. It might have come as a passing thought to them, but it always did just that, passed. They were too worried about surviving and defeating the grimm to take time for religion. Plus with Dust there were no need for gods or higher beings to do work for us. Humans had to fend for themselves. He also wondered things like why the dark Gaia would make such a destructive force as the grimm, but what would the world be like if there were only grimm? He certainly had a lot to take in. Some of it new. Some he had thought about before. "'The Four Seasons' is a good story, but there's no way that's true. Plus I thought yours was better."

The title Shrine Maiden struck his mind now. That sounds like a relatively peaceful title. How did she come to be a warrior? Since they were already picking each others brains. "So how did you come to be a warrior? Correct me if I'm wrong, but Shrine Maidens don't sound like they would be warriors. Do they actually teach you to fight at your shrine? And is that where you got your weapon?"

Ryou had just begun to unpack his stuff as the announcement went off about the commencement speech. I wonder if I'll go this year. He continued unpacking and organizing as he heard footsteps coming down the hallway. He tried to ignore them, expecting they would go past. As they got closer the sound of the dog's panting picked up again. That must be whoever snuck a dog in here. I wonder how long they'll be able to keep it hidden. As the steps continued he could tell it was likely a woman of sorts. Her gait was lighter and matched that of a typical woman. Well there's no way that's my roomate. As the footsteps got louder he ignored them, but they were slowing down as they approached his room. I wonder if she'll be one of my neighbors. The foorsteps continued right up to his door. He was thoroughly confused. Maybe he guessed the gender wrong. A person's gait isn't terribly reliable. Maybe she's lost, there are some ditsy people around. At that moment the door began to open and Ryou was shocked to see a girl walk through the door. Maybe she just came to say hi. How did she know I was here? Why did she bring her bag? He stood and watched as she carried her belongings to the other bed and sat down on it. His mind blank now just waiting for her to do something. She set her dog down on her lap and simply asked if he minded dogs and that she was a good girl. She looks like a good girl. The dog is a good girl not her. Well she probably is too, but what is this? They don't normally pair students. It has happened a few times before. Maybe she's lost lets check that.

He nervously replied with a slight sweat forming. "Umm, I don't mind dogs at all. That looks like a very good girl. The dog, she's a good girl. Anyways are you sure this is your room? Can I read your paper?" He walked over and looked at her paper and sure enough it was his dorm and room 327. How is this? Is this good? She'll be a distraction. I have school and probably assassination. Is she an assassin? Will she be distracting? But she's a girl. I get to spend a year rooming with a girl. By this point he was visibly sweating. No matter. I'll figure this out later. I need to be polite. It'd be bad if I got on her bad side. I have heard about girls bad sides. Ryou turned back towards the girl. "Umm, I'm Ryouta, Souma Ryouta. Are you planning on going to the commencement speech?"
Yeah I sort of realized that now. This is most likely a dead thread.
This is going to be bumpy to start, but it will level off as it goes. There is no way instituting an order was going to start off smoothly.
