The giantess suddenly stepped forward toward the dragoon, a smirk on her face. She pulled Amelia toward her as she leaned down slightly, giving the dragoon a deep kiss, using a little bit of tongue as well. She pulled away after a few moments, the same smirk appearing on her face. "Indeed it was." She replied briefly as she turned toward the door. Ellie never thought that she would do that in a million years. Give a woman, especially someone she didn't know very well, such a passionate kiss. She had begun to realize why she didn't like any of the few suitors that came to 'woo' her. She chuckled inwardly at the realization. It wasn't too bad. She glanced at Evelynn briefly, wondering if she should just kiss her too. But she decided not to, just to tease the smaller woman for a little bit.

"The Sister's quarters are one floor above the Squires in the barracks. There's plenty of room as you can imagine. There aren't many rules about bringing guests into the Sister's quarters, as long as you stay out of the logistics chamber." She explained as they left the library. The sun had just set, and the stars were out, sparkling in the darkened sky. The moon was still a little dim as it hadn't fully risen yet.

""We'll be leaving at dawn, so we better get some rest as soon as we can." the giantess stated as the walked back to the barracks.
This looks.. Interesting. May I join?
Zenovia, on the other hand, was enjoying herself a little too much. She felt like laughing when she saw the realization in the blonde's face. She watched as Trix made the mulled wine, knowing full that the other woman wasn't enjoying her company anymore. She cocked an eyebrow at the blonde as she offered Zenovia the promised, first cup. "Why thank you!" She replied with a grin on her face. She took a gulp at the warm liquid, enjoying it's wonderful taste.

She noticed the fairy's presence but chose to ignore it as it fluttered away. Zenovia watched as Trix went to offer the butterfly thing a tiny cup of wine. By that time, Zenovia had already attracted the attention of a few knights. They partially surrounded her. She went through the arduous process of showing them her documents. It all checked out as usual. They started to talk to her a little bit as well. "So what's a woman like you doing 'round here? You're a bloody Screamer if I ever saw one." He said with an accusing look. Before Zenovia could respond, one of the other knights piped up, "S'pose I could take you round back and make you scream for a different reason, Hah!" The knights laughed briefly at the stupid joke. Zenovia smirked mischievously at the Knight that made the joke. She leaned her staff on the table before wrapping her arms around the Knight's neck in a seductive manner. "Wouldn't you like that very much~?" She whispered suggestively as she brought her face closer to his, as if she was going to kiss him. She could see the knight's face turn a shade of red, causing her to chuckle and draw back. A collective, silent 'Awh' emanated from the three knights.

She stepped back, gulping the rest of her wine down and picking up her staff again. "Perhaps some other time~?" She teased before sauntering over to Trix, only to catch her inviting the Fairy to her house. "I'd love that too. Perhaps I can tag along~" She interjected with a friendly tone.
Zenovia looked at the other Anuirean that confronted her. She could tell that the Knight was weary of her presence, seeing the woman's hand on her hilt. On the other hand, Zenovia was calm, and rather relaxed, her staff supported by her shoulder, the rings jingling behind her. The Kvaren looked at the woman's sash, identifying her as a lieutenant. She clicked her tongue in irritation as the knight asked for her documents.

She handed the documents over to her, knowing fully that there was absolutely no mistakes in the writing or format. She glanced at the horrid looking dog that followed the knight. She would never allow something like that near her at all. She smirked at the Knight's comments, "Oh yeah, of course. They're just a bunch of savages as far as I'm concerned. We really can't have them roaming around illegally. A hazard to everyone's health, in my opinion." She responded lightheartedly, humouring the Knight's point of view.

"If everything checks out, I'll be on my way. I have an important meeting to attend, and I can't afford to be late." She stated with mock concern. She waited for the Anuirean to finish analyzing her documents before taking them back in a rather nonchalant manner. After taking her documents, she proceeded to continue on her way.
Megumi saw only possible paths leading to the right hand door. She opted to walk through the tables and chairs. For the most part she weaved through them as some of them were pushed in or had larger gaps between. She bumped into a chair that had a sleeping knight, she froze in agony as the chair had hit her side. The knight groaned softly before continuing to snore. She took a moment to recover before proceeding.

She silently enter the door, only to find her 'friend' mouth the words to her. She cursed quietly as she heard footsteps near the door. No one came. When she looked back to her... acquaintance, he had already disappeared. A bag of copper pieces hitting the floor. A few of the coins clinked along the stone floor, causing a few knights to stir. She cursed silently again as she quickly scooped up the majority of the coins, proceeding up the stairs with a great degree of agony. The action of scooping up the bag had sent a shock through her system.

Soon she made it up the stairs, she slowly and silently opened the door, only to reveal a room filled with bunks and sleeping knights. There was a large window, an unobstructed path leading toward it. She was only on the 2nd floor, so jumping to another building would be relatively easy.. If not for her injury. She walked over to the window, remembering to keep her foot steps silent. All the knights were snoring away without a care in the world.

She quietly unlocked the window, opening it. She peered out of it, it was dark, being on the opposite side of the moonlight. As luck would have it, there was another building close to the window, the roof being a few meters away and slightly lower than the window. She tied the bag of coppers to her belt before perching herself on the window opening. She took a deep breath before leaping. She barely made the jump, grasping onto the edge of the roof. She slowly pulled herself up, the pain of her broken ribs causing her to grit her teeth in agony. After making it on top of the roof, she sat for awhile, trying to regain her strength from the painful ordeal.

"I swear I'll kill him when I see him." She muttered to herself, panting. She wasn't serious about it, but it was mostly just a kind of venting.
He watched as Lyriia went to retrieve her herbs, keeping a watchful eye on the surroundings. His gaze flicked toward the source of the sudden snapping noise, only to see a curious deer. After a brief moment, he realized that he had instinctively drawn his bow, ready to fire an arrow at whatever approached. He relaxed, putting the arrow back into his quiver and lowering his bow.

He heard the other fairy mention his backpack. To which he responded with a nod, "Yes. It is very close by." He had noticed their proximity, but he just assumed that she was still afraid of being left behind. Once again, he took her hand as if it was the most natural thing in the world. Gently leading her through the forest. They had only flown for a few moments before he let go of her hand, landing on one of the many tree roots that protruded through the ground. Without much effort, he slung his pack over his shoulder before flying back to Lyriia.

"It's time we headed back to Silent Rise." He stated as he took her hand again. The journey back was quite pleasant. Ahmal made no attempts to create conversation, as he wasn't really one to start conversations. The clouds slowly parted, allowing more moonlight to trickle through the canopy. He stole a few glances at her. She was quite young, perhaps just achieving adulthood and quite.. pretty? Now that was word that Ahmal hadn't used in a long time, especially in such a dreary place like Silent Rise. She seemed more modest than most of the Fairies that he had encountered over the years, and that was seemingly attractive to him. He quickly dismissed the thoughts. She was a civilian in trouble, it was his duty to protect her until he brought her home. Nothing more.

He suddenly heard something hiss. It was quiet, but discernible in the silence. He knew exactly what it was before it even struck out at him. "Get back." He warned, quickly pushing Lyriia away, drawing his bow and arrow. He released it moments before a spider pounced out of the darkness, tackling Ahmal out of the air despite having an arrow lodged in one of it's eyes. The spider and Ahmal thudded into the snow below. The spider attempted to bite down on Ahmal with it's fangs, but luckily he blocked it with his bow, jamming it length-wise across the spider's mouth, stopping the fangs. They dripped with venom, melting parts Ahmal's cloak as it hit the fabric.
Megumi watched as Raffey and another knight started to attack the tentacled beast when red vines burst out of the ground, engulfing the monster. She was confused to say the least, she had never seen anything like that before. She cringed as she heard Raffey's pained scream. When she regained her focus, she noticed that Raffey and the knight had been caught by the vines, it looked agonizing. She heard a loud, shrill whistle, she look around, wondering if something was about to arrive to help. Something did arrive, but not to help Raffey. The giant beetle picked up Megumi in it's sticky jaw, she felt like complaining, but when she heard something thump against the Beetle, she was glad that it had picked her up.

She slowly got up after being spat out by the beetle, her clothes covered in slime. She looked back as she tried to shake the slime off herself. She pat the grieving beetle on the side for a moment, before the Aaenshi approached her. "I have no idea.." She responded rather unemotionally, but when she saw Raffey and a woman being tied to some horses, she felt some relief. "But I know that they're alive. For now." Megumi continued. She nodded in agreement with the Aaenshi. Hiding for now was the best idea. She climbed on top of the giant beetle with relative ease as it lowered itself for mounting.

"Perhaps we should rescue them.." She said in a non-committal tone. She wondered why she should help them. From what she was taught as a child. Those who were caught were no use. They were liabilities. She shook her head slightly. Raffey had saved her life, so she owed him that. No matter how much of an idiot he was in the first place.

After awhile, the group have joined a much larger looking tribe. And all thoughts of rescue were shattered in that moment. She cursed under her breath. "There's no hope of saving them now." Even if they had the martial prowess to take them on, they wouldn't live for very long. Megumi became painfully aware of her lack of martial skill, which made her curse again.
She felt the air around her get warmer as she walked, she mostly ignored whatever her companions said, walking along her own path. Instinctively, she undid the string that held her coat together, letting Echo slip out onto the cave floor. He landed on his feet and shook his body as he felt the temperature change. He calmly kept pace with his mother as she played her music. The song was getting louder in Alya's ears, but it seemed as though no one else could hear it, but that didn't worry her at all. As usual, her eyes were closed as she played her flute, but she felt the air around her change as they entered the large room. She ended the song as the singing stopped, opening her eyes to see the beautifully decorated cave. Her eyes, however, were drawn to the cottage into the spring. And then to a naked White elf woman who was atop of a rock.

Alya's face involuntarily smiled back at the Elven woman's smile. She felt her worries disappear when the woman said that she was here to help her. Alya didn't feel any doubt in her mind.

"Come, join me. I must help you, it is my Purpose." Alya nodded slowly, complying. Purpose? She thought. It reminded her of what her mother had told her. About the 'Purpose' for White Elves. Her mother's purpose was to run the tavern, but as she had been told, all White Elves receive different.. 'callings'. Perhaps she will get hers soon? She wasn't an adult by Elf standards, but an adult by human standard. She fell in between as a half-breed. Her mother had always told her that she will receive her purpose when she turned 20. That was this year. What might it be?

As Alya walked toward the water, she absentmindedly removed her boots, coat, leaving them scattered in a trail behind her. Echo whined at her, reminded her of his presence. She crouched down and gave Echo a reassuring pat before gesturing that he go eat some of the food that the Elf had provided. Echo licked Alya's hand before running off toward the cottage, across the stone path.

Alya stepped into the water. It was warm, comforting. She felt more than half of her small body sink into the water. Alya slowly made her way to the rock next to the woman. She slowly climbed out of the water, sitting on the rock. She gave the Elf a slight bow and a smile as a greeting, for she could not speak. She did, however still have her flute in hand, so she could play music if need be.
He gently pulled her out of the hallow when she grasped his hand, his wings beating a little harder to support the other fairy. Fortunately for him, she was lighter than most fairies that he knew of. "It's an honor to meet such a well known fairy. Your medical work is appreciated by the hunters and knights alike." He responded in a kind tone. During his younger days, he had also visited Longarm for some treatment. The man's knowledge and skills were worthy of praise, as was his apprentice's.

He chuckled slightly, something which he doesn't do very often. "Seems Longarm has started to push duties onto his apprentices again." He commented in a off-handed manner. "I too, dropped a satchel of.. herbs when I followed you two. I will help you find your belongings. He responded in his calm, formal tone once more. He gently kept hold of her hand and guided her toward the snowy floor of the forest. He remembered the exact route he had taken, however he did not know where Lyriia's satchel was. Surely they'd find it along the way back.

They slowly back tracked along Ahmal's path. He kept his pace slow so that she wasn't left behind in the darkness.
