@The Emperors Blade I think we can move on.
@Nevix She doesn't hate anyone yet.
The last time she had stepped on a Stealth-Chinook, she was speaking fluent Russian to the 5 or 6 Spetsnaz operatives, informing them that trying to speak a different language to avoid being caught out for commenting on her body in a sexual way wasn't the smartest idea, nor the most professional. And the Chinook smelled more like Vodka than piss. The blood stain on the floor of the craft didn't bother her too much. It was a common sight, but more often than not, it was cleaned off before the next mission. Strange.

Her gaze flickered between the other 5 members who bordered the craft, she could already tell that some of them had the military capacity of a 10 year old boy playing shooting games in his mother's basement. Just a feeling. A vibe if you will.

The pilot seemed more cheery than most. It was almost unnerving how articulate he was about what they were doing. But this pilot seemed better than the others that she had met, so she felt some confidence in him, even if he didn't show his face to them.

Yuumi opened her crate, which was slightly more rectangular than the others. Standard Beretta M9 with a silencer, standard issue gear/equipment and a PSG-1 Sniper rifle. Although she was more comfortable with a Dragunov, she had no problems with using it, much like any other sniper rifle. She examined her uniform for a moment to figure out it's structure and how to wear it.. She changed into her uniform with the efficiency of a factory machine, not a single action wasted on fiddling with small things. It was a simple uniform, to her anyway.

She glanced at the Scotsman that spoke, whom she now knew as 'Tavish'. His comment.. or rather joke made it sound like he was from a more vulgar background, but it was best that she kept that to herself. Unrest and disagreement between comrades led to petty mistakes in missions which can lead to failure of the operation. Something she had experienced before, but it didn't involve her personally at the time. "Aoyama Yuumi." She responded in a perfectly normal Japanese accent, however slightly deeper than one would expect of a Japanese woman. "You may call me 'Yuumi'." This time her voice held a pronounced Russian accent. She didn't expect anyone to constantly call her by her surname, she wasn't with any other Japanese people either. She didn't expect Westerners to understand the Japanese way of Surname-First name basis.
I'll have a post up tomorrow.
@Gunther
I think it would be great to talk about what roles our characters would take up for their missions, but since we don't know what's going on, we may not be able to talk about much. But what I can guarantee is that Yuumi is going to take up a Sniping position, if possible. Haha
@lovely complex Isn't this a wonderful predicament
@lovely complex If she saw him. He's wearing a yukata and a kitsune mask ahahaha
@lovely complex Makes me feel great sad too.
Kazuma

8:15pm, Jonai's Masquerade Ball

---

The party started at 8pm. Kazuma arrived at 8:15. He didn't like being late, but he felt that it was acceptable to be late to a party when he wasn't going to with anyone. Some people had given him weird looks on the way to the party, since his outfit was a little on the strange side. They seemed more like festival clothes rather than formal wear, but this was as formal as he could get. He didn't have a suit nor did he have a proper eyemask that most people wear to these parties.

After showing his ticket to the reception, he walked into the large room. There were quite a few people here already. Normally he'd start to feel a little ill and uncomfortable, but there was enough space for everyone to be a little more spread out, so it was fine for him. He looked around the ball room, looking for Amity. The only person he knew in this city. Alas he couldn't see her anywhere, so he decided to go get a drink from one of the waiters that were walking around with glasses of what he identified to be champagne.. or just alcohol. He took a champagne glass from one of the waiter's trays, thanking them with a slight nod. He awkwardly looked at the bubbly liquid, realizing that he couldn't actually drink it without lifting him mask off. They said he couldn't take the mask off until midnight.

After a brief moment of contemplation, he strode off to a slightly more isolated part of the giant room, lifting his mask off slightly to take a gulp of the champagne. He put his mask back on after finishing the glass in one go, looking back at the crowd. There were one or two people that were wearing similar attire to him.. I guess I'm not the only one then. He thought as he strolled uncomfortably through the crowd. He nodded apologetically to those he had to push past. He needed some fresh air already. He found a large window on the other side of the ball room, which was open. He leaned against the wall next to it, thinking about what he was going to do. He wasn't good with parties and it was a little awkward to try introduce himself to people.

Showing the light of a phone at first sight, isn't the greatest thing to do when greeting people.
@CreeXLR

Well.. Just because she hasn't introduced herself doesn't mean she won't follow the others. I don't know if it's really that big of a deal.
