"A hero is but a fickle opinion"

Ribbons of wind swirled around Gilgamesh's hooves as he sprinted down from the sky, his boisterous neighing alerting the guards as he rode down. From within the eye holes of his helm, Silas peered out with forethought, his hand wrapped firmly around the body of his lance in case of attack. His actions over the past few months had warranted this summons; he had deliberately foiled several skirmishes and attacks made by the knights of Pantos, and likewise took down a few of their enemies, but he wondered in which light had the King saw him in.

Dismounting from Gilgamesh, he placed his forehead against his muzzle, feeling the steed's breath on his face. "I shall return shortly," He whispered, his stoic voice only as loud as it ever needed to be. "Go and wait for me nearby." A shaking neigh was all he received in response, but it was enough to reassure him. He turned to watch Gilgamesh disappear in the distant, his armor clanking with a weary sound.

If this is a trap than I'm a fool for coming here. All the signs are pointing towards disaster and I'm ignoring them.

After going through the tediousness of showcasing the token, he was allowed entrance into the castle. With a armed guard leading him, Silas was brought to a room, the words and voices of others slipping from the entrance. Already he could feel the shadows of a plan enclosing around him, however, it was far too late for him to turn around now; lest he look like a coward. The guard stepped to the side as Silas walked in, his devilish helm revealing but a glimmer of his brown eyes inside of them. Instead of speaking right a way, he moved to the side of the entrance and leaned his six-foot-one height against the wall, his armor clanking as his arms folded over his chest.

A gathering of sorts... Just what is going on here? He asked himself, taking note of the war-mapped parchment on the table and of course the many moguls in the room. He hadn't taken the time to learn more about other mages, but the important figures of the kingdom was a different story. If... it is necessary, I will have to kill Ophella first. Let's hope it isn't.
Sorry for being late, I'll get my post up before heading to bed :)
I was just thinking the same :)
The sun inside of him had lit up, shinning over his metaphorical soul as he noticed Alexandria in the distance. She called out to them, hurrying over to greet them. Myriad's slow steps hastened for a moment, before he was quickly overtaken by Nao's sprint. It was a odd feeling to watch a friend running to embrace a girl that he was unsure of. My heart is yearning for her... for some reason.

Myriad watched Nao swirl Alexandria around before giving Ascot a crude thanks. "I thought you were a goner for a moment there, Alex. I'm sooooo happy that you aren't dead. I don't know what I would had done."

He found his hand raking through his hair at the proctors question, the situation somehow becoming awkward for him. He turned from them and walked away to help out with the rebuilding. Someone had to get things done, from behind him, he heard Nao answer. "Its was a piece o' cake. The undead allowed me to vent some really dark parts of me, " He chuckled lightly, rubbing the back of his dark hair. "Alex here is good with a bow, I never would had thought. Oh yea, I wanna thank you for saving us back there, we would had been toast if not for you. "

Alexandria chuckled half-heartily, her eyes focusing on Myraid's back as he walked away, the nape of his neck moist from his effort earlier. "Yea... I guess."
So, now that I think about it, Shinku isn't really involved in his clan's political stuff, so he would nothing about it lol. I get the feeling he would marvel at your appearance than just be like "Yea,yea, you can have anything you like."
Nao and himself was left shocked, bewildered. Before their very eyes, Alexandria had vanished, popped out of existence. Nao wasted no time in finishing off the two zombies that were left behind, a blow to the head and thrust that pierced the others throat had ended them. Myriad on the other hand was frantic in his search, his militant boots carrying through the barren land. "Alex!" he yelled, suddenly tripping over onto his face.

He pushed himself up onto his forearms, blood trickling down cyan-hair, dying it a dark purple. The ground felt damp itself, moist with a mystic type of plasma, some residual scent of iron plugged his nose. Turning around, he caught the sight of a dismembered arm, partial sticking out for the bloody stump. His lids narrowed before he kicked it away and raised back to his feet. I need to find, Alexandria.

"Alexandria! where are you?!" he called out again, his own face straining with his pleas. She had vanished to only god knew where. Nao soon joined his search the both of them searching for Alex, their teacher, and their comrades.
@McHaggis: That sounds like a good plan. Should we hash out some of those ideas so that we can mention it during the meeting?
That sounds great. If the two had met, I can imagine her -if only out of duty- asking for permission to travel on his land or search sacred areas or something. Of course she'll get a face to face meeting because of her age and reputation.

Just because he's a hermit doesn't mean he doesn't have manners.
@McHaggis: Your character is pretty cool. I was expected the child vampire, just didn't think she'd be so old and powerful. 4 Stars out of 5 :) You're missing a star because she's searching for a cure for vampirism lol
Nice improvements, Hari. I especially like the quirk area lol. I don't think enough people think about the small things that makes a character come to life.
