RED HOT should definitely recognize her.The coach is more-or-less a retired fighter from Europe. She will be something like the Joachim Low for the team. I can imagine her crossing swords with RED HOT at least once.

The reflective mirrors of his eyes glanced towards the strong hand of the male he spotted earlier. He had to admit that it was expected but it wasn't exactly what he wanted. It was the studious ones, like the silver haired girl that were truly interesting. Even still, the battle was welcomed, hell, it was laid out with a red carpet. With a smirk, he nodded a greeting towards the guy.
"Nice, I'm happy to have you as a challenger." A RX-0 Unicorn Gunpla, with a blue shoulder plate and blue horn was set down, the plavsky particles showered through the build. "Let's go all out, no holds bars!"
The mechanized voice spoke. "Field 1. Space. Battle Begin!"
Brave Passion's eyes came to life, the neon green streaming about as it pulled out a lightsaber in one hand and held out a shield in the other. He floated forwards, his enemy coming into view. Thomas pushed forwards full speed, the sapphire thrusters speeding him through the vast scenery of space and towards the golden mecha.
"Alright! here I come!" shouted an overexcited Thomas.
Seems good enough but Gary wouldn't be the one to challenge him. Gary you see isn't confrontational he's more of the smartass whose laid back and doesn't let things get to him. You can certainly offer him a fight but I'm not sure if a actual fight between the two would be a thing more than likely, unless thomas goes try hard, not happen and he'd suggest that if he wants a challenge they'd fight some computers on a nearby plavsky machine. You see Gary has had very little gunpla play where he fought people outside of tournaments because he's not a big fan of one on one fights hence his history with Team Hive Mind.Yea, a simulation competition sounds good. I like that idea a bit less but let's do it ^^
Well maybe Gary's Magazine he found was his (Thomas's) sister's magazine.Smart. I like that idea, she sees Gary reading it and we both approach you about it. Maybe Gary decides he wanted to Gunpla battle for some odd reason. I can try and antagonize him, Thomas would do that if he felt the battle was worth it. Let's just hope his build doesn't get hurt before the battle.
