Kludd sighed loudly. He really couldn't stay mad at Fillan long.
"Its okay. Just at least say something if you're going to wander off."
He said, scooting his chair closer to Fillan and wrapping an arm around his shoulders. He could hear the headmistress lady speaking but honestly didn't care that much about what she was saying. He only cared about keeping Fillan safe, not whatever they were doing at this school. He looked around at the other kids there, noting three people sitting together not far away. The strong looking girl sitting in between the other two he did not get a good feeling about. The guy with them seemed fine enough but not someone he would willingly talk to. Then again, he wouldn't willingly talk to a lot of people. The last girl looked nice though, he couldn't detect any problems with her. He continued scanning the room, glad he'd found Fillan in the first place. He was his best and currently only friend after all.

Kludd sighed as he adjusted his backpack and grabbed Fillan's other bag. He swore the thing was full of just math packets, and none of his real belongings. It honestly wouldn't be surprising. But whatever.
"Hey Fill-"
He looked up to address him, but he didn't see him anywhere. He looked around, trying to find him in the crowd. He swore for a second he saw his messy brown hair somewhere in the crowd, but just like that he disappeared again. Kludd tried to fight back the rising panic he felt as he charged into the crowd. He tried to move around people as best he could, but everyone was sort of crowded and hard to get around. He growls slightly and waits to get through the crowds. He was so focued on just getting to Fillan he didn't even pay any attention to the schools architecture. He vaugely noticed the stained glass windows and made a small mental note to look at them later, whenever he could actually keep an eye on his friend.
Finally, after what seemed like forever, he made it into the room where everyone was meeting. He scanned it quickly before his eyes landed on Fillan and he stormed over there.
"What have I said about running off without me?" He scolded
"You don't even know how worried I get when you do that! Anything could happen to you and I wouldn't be there to do a thing about it. I just want to keep you safe."

Sorry for taking so long to get back to yall about this. I was out in the woods for the weekend, haha. Both of those characters are great and if you wanna post them in the character tab that would be lovely ^^

The Sanctuary - Fantasy RolePlay

Welcome to the Sanctuary, A Place For All Creatures to Call Home

This world is one full of magic and creatures of myth and legend. Even "normal" humans often have magical abilities and mingle with the creatures of what we consider fantasy.
But it is also one of misfortune.. Many here have had bad lives and experiences. This is the sad truth of reality. We here want to make sure that everyone gets the support they need. This is why the Sanctuary was created.

Tucked away in the center of a dense forest, which itself lies between a mountain range and a large river, is our city. Plant and animal life is abundant here. There are many small homes for our citizens, and many buildings for the community as well. Most notably, in the very center, a round building made of white brick, where there are some very important facilities here are located. The ground floor is a common space, designed to be comfortable and always open to everyone. Its somewhat of a waiting room too, for the other two facilities. The floor below, is a hospital, to take care of any physical ailments and injuries. The upper floor is one for mental health. There are therapists to talk to about any issues that may arise, as well as simply a calming, peaceful place for mental healing.
Other places around the city include a library, and a school for any who is interested in learning or reading. There is a marketplace for any material needs you may have.
There is also a large lake, where you are welcome to swim, but fishing is forbidden, due to the various mermaids and water nymphs that live within it.
Though this is not the extent of what is offered here, we have something for everyone at The Sanctuary. Anything you could want to do, there is surely a place for it.

You have been chosen to live here, as you found out once receiving a letter that invited you here, giving you directions to the place.
You have been promised a better life here, and deciding it was worth a try, packed your things and heading towards this mysterious new place.

Notes:
-This roleplay will focus on character development and relationships. There is no set storyline, other than the characters getting settled into their new home in the sanctuary
-Any race is allowed, especially fantasy ones. Most races get along and there is little major conflict between them.
-The roleplay does take place in a modern day setting, so there is also technology and such.
-You can go ahead and post your form into the character tab when you finish.

Rose Woodrow

Appearance: WIP
Name: Rose Woodrow
Age: 17
Gender: Female

Weapon Name: Rose Bud
Weapon Appearance: In Bolas form, there are nine dark brown cords connected with a ring at the end. On the other end, attached to each cord is a weighted ball, that is mainly pink with green vine designs on them. The whip form is designed the same way but looks like a cat o nine tails whip.
Weapon Type: Transformable.
Weapon Range: Short/Medium
Weapon Transformations:
Version 1: Bolas https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bolas With nine separate balls/cords.
Version 2: Whip, Cat o' Nine tails specifically.
The transformation happens with the balls of the bolas connecting into the handle while the cords form into the whip. The same can happen in reverse as well.
Personality: Rose is typically a sweet and agreeable person, being quite social and enjoying the company of others. Anyone that knows anything about her knows that she is intelligent and resourceful, and quite fond of helping people. Whether its basic help with math(her favorite subject), or if another person needs saving from a grimm, its guaranteed she will be there to assist. She works well under stress, which is quite fortunate, as she ends up putting a lot of pressure on herself to do well at everything. Failure is not an answer for her, and she will keep trying at things until she gets them right, to the point of being stupidly persistent and not knowing when to quit. Even when she battles this is her philosophy, which results in her often ending up badly injured and/or completely worn out from overexerting herself. She is usually somewhat tired already, as she ends up having many late nights studying.
Bio: Rose grew up with her parents in Vale, living rather happily. Her family was not known to be hunters or huntresses, but rather scholars. Her father especially was very involved in the study of plants, which sparked her interest in them as a child. She always wanted to come along with him whenever he had to travel to study exotic plants. When she was 12 and on one such trip she'd managed to convince him to let her go on with him, they were attacked by a grimm. Her semblance activated and allowed her to protect everyone that was with them. This was her first real experience with a grimm, and she decided she wanted to learn about them. The best way to do that was to work her way up to going to beacon and train to be a huntress.
Semblance: Exponential Growth, Her semblance allows her to create vines that burst out of the ground, and are typically very large, though can be just about any size she needs (within reason). They can be used to shield herself or others, or to be used as restraints and tie people or creatures down. She can also choose if they have thorns or not, which when combined with restraining a grimm, can injure it. The larger the vines and the greater quantity, the more energy it takes. But she does use her semblance somewhat often in combat.

Additional Appearance: She is tall, but a bit on the curvier side. Her skin is tanned from spending lots of time outside (she feels better studying and in general spending time outdoors). Her eyes are a sea green color, and her hair is a strawberry blonde/rose gold color. Her usual outfit is something like a usual anime school uniform, with a beige pleated skirt, knee high white socks with a small rose design towards the top. She has a pair of brown combat boots that she wears all the time as well. She also wears a large pink sweater over the usual sailor style uniform shirt with a green bow/tie thing.
