"We can't just welcome them into the group with open arms." Ralph said. "They tried to kill us. We've got to keep an eye on them, at the very least."
As much as he didn't trust them, Tony was somewhat right. If they were going to get rid of Humanity's Hope, they would need all the help they could get. Even if they were bandits, they were the only ones who would join them, at this point.

Deravan asked how the hunting went, taking Ralph's mind of the bandits for a moment. "Well, we got attacked by a golem with a crossbow, and you can see the result." He gestured towards the arrow sticking out of his shoulder. "Oh, and speaking of which, I need someone to pull this arrow out. I'm no expert, but I don't think this'll heal properly if I leave it in."

Meanwhile, the rest of the group was interrogating Michelle. Mike asked her whether or not she'd called for backup, and she didn't answer at first. A bolt of electricity was enough to solve that problem. She told them that she could've called for backup, but didn't.
"Hold up." Ralph said. "What do you mean, 'you could have'? Do you have telepathy or something?"
Michelle could be more of a threat than they originally thought. If she could contact the other Humanity's Hope members, then she could tell them exactly where they were hiding. They could get attacked at any moment.
Should I just go ahead and post, or wait for Noire and Absol?
Nope. Not letting this die.
Noire's been gone for a while now. Not sure what happened to him, but I don't think we'll be getting a post from him anytime soon.
We're waiting for Kabling and possibly Noire.
I think it's your turn to post, Kabling.
An eerie purple light came from the other end of the room. Jade looked over to see what it was, and in the place of the other Jade was something much stranger than any of the other creatures she'd seen. It looked like some kind of ghost made of purple plasma. Jade thought she was seeing things, but considering the others' reactions, she wasn't the only one who'd seen it.

A loud metal screech filled the room, making Jade and everyone else cringe. The source was Miles. He mentioned a garage owned by some rich guy, which would probably have a vehicle they could use to escape.
"Alright, let's go." Jade said, following the others to the garage.
So, who still has to post?
So, how's that post coming along?
It wasn't long before Daniel was met with the same fate as Terra. Now both of them were stuck in a nightmare so horrible it was physically hurting them. Another Hypnosis narrowly missed Anthony, who was arguably the only one who could do any real damage to him. If he got hit, it would be over for them.
"Oh! Is that what I think it is?" Matt said. "It may take me a while to light this. Not to worry, though. We should have light soon enough."

Josh heard what sounded like two rocks being crashed together. As he looked back to where Matt was, he could see sparks, which he assumed was Matt trying to light a torch, or something.
"How long do you think that'll take?" He asked.
"I've done this many times before. It shouldn't take too long."

The dim light coming from Matt's screens was their only light source, and at this point they began to fade away, until they had disappeared completely. They didn't have much light coming off of them, but they allowed Josh to see his teammates. Now there was nothing but darkness all around them, and if he fired attacks into the darkness like he'd been doing before, he risked hitting Hex or Anthony. On top of that, they no longer had the defense boost that the screens provided.

Thankfully, the room was filled with a much brighter light moments later. Matt floated back towards the group with a torch in his hand.
"This should give us enough light." He said as he used Reflect once again, re-creating one of the barriers that had just faded away.
Now that they had light, they could finally see Darkrai. Josh fired a Water Gun at him, and had no trouble hitting him now that he could see.
