So, whose turn is it now?
Trey nodded when the Kobold suggested that they rest for a little while. "I think we could all use a break." He said. "I need time to restore my magical energy a little."
Once the group began heading deeper into the cave, Trey followed. Unfortunately for him, the ceiling was too low for him to fly, so he was grounded for now. Being forced to walk slowed him down, but he was still able to keep up with the group.

"So, I don't think I caught anyone's name, besides Deravan's." He said. He figured that now would be a good time to bring this up, since they weren't getting attacked by zombies at the moment. "I think he's the only one who told me his name when we ran into each other back at the campsite."
They then ended up at a fork in the path, and the goblin told them that her home was to the right.
"She used to live in this cave, so she'd know it better than any of us." Trey said. "I say we head right."
I rolled a 13 for MP recovery.
Trey was ready to burn that last zombie to death, but the others managed to finish it off before he got a chance. He noticed that the fish was cutting into one of the fallen zombies, hoping to study it or something. That guy kind of creeped Trey out. He could only hope that he wouldn't end up being experimented on.

He looked around, scanning the area around them to see if there were any more zombies nearby. If there was any, someone would probably notice before they got too close, but it was best to stay alert. If they weren't careful, someone else could take a hit like that Kobold did back there.
Josh began nibbling on his Chesto berry, while Spruce asked him what his team's been up to.
"Well, remember that guy we captured in Beach Cave? He somehow escaped from prison, so we had to go out and capture him again." Josh said. He then paused for a moment, wondering if he should tell them about the Orbs of Balance. He knew that he couldn't go around telling everybody about them, but he trusted them, and they might even know where one of them might be hidden.

"We've also got another thing that we've been doing. It's much more important than just capturing some outlaw." He said. "We're looking for the Orbs of Balance. There's one for each sub-type - Normal, Light, Shadow, and Void. We already found the Normal one, but we don't know where the rest are."

Celes then suggested that her team go find a mission to do, then ran out of the room.
"Yeah, I guess it's about time we got back to our team, too." Josh said. "Before we leave, though, you don't happen to know where one of the orbs might be, do you?"
If the undead really liked bullying squishy wizards, they'd go after Trey. He's the squishiest wizard of them all.

Anyway, here's my roll:
Trey's hit roll: 2 + 12/2 = 8
Zombie's dodge roll: 16 + 2/2 = 17
The Kobold was back on his feet, thanks to the potion that Deravan gave him. He killed one of the zombies with a bolt of lightning, leaving just one left. Seeing how little damage the fish's spear did, the zombies were probably resistant to physical attacks, so it would be up to the mages to end this battle.
"I've got this one." Trey said, casting another Fire spell. Unfortunately, this one missed. "Okay, never mind."
Trey's hit roll: 18 + 12/2 = 24
Zombie's dodge roll: 10 + 2/2 = 11
Trey's damage roll: 4
Damage dealt: 4 + 18 - 1 = 21
The cave, or what was left of it, was pretty close to the place where Trey first ran into the group. It seemed like they were too late, though. There wasn't a single human in sight, and the entire place was covered in grey dust and rotting corpses.
"This was done by the humans, without a doubt." Trey said. "They're vicious, cold-blooded killers. All of them."
The corpses seemed to instantly decompose when they were touched. To make matters worse, a few of them had reanimated, and began stumbling towards them.

The Goblin tried to attack one of the zombies, but she ended up missing, and that same zombie went and attacked the Kobold. He was caught completely off guard, and fell to the ground after taking a few hits. Trey flew over them, casting a Fire spell on the zombie below. It stumbled around for a moment as it was consumed by the flames, then finally dropped dead.
"That's one down." Trey said. He then looked over at his fallen teammate. "Please tell me one of you knows healing magic, because I don't."
So, I rolled a 7, and Trey's agility is 12, so that's 12/2 + 7 = 13 initiative. I hope I did that right.
