Alright, then.
What do you think? Should we skip him again?
So, who are we waiting for now? Just @Sumable?
And I rolled a 20.
There wasn't much in the armory. All the village seemed to have was old, bloodstained armor that was probably taken from dead adventurers. On top of that, it seemed to be designed for Kobolds, which was a problem for Trey. Still, though, it was better than nothing, and he was getting it for free.

He handed the slip of paper to the Kobold in charge of the armory, then went into another room to try it on. It wasn't nearly as uncomfortable as he expected it to be, considering it was made for another species, and it was also light enough that it wouldn't hinder his flight. It certainly wasn't in the greatest condition, though. Several holes in the armor suggested that the previous owner was stabbed to death, and the bloodstains further supported this theory. There was also a dagger stuck inside one of the holes, and it seemed to be enchanted, too.

When Trey went back outside, Robert was explaining to the new guy why they were abandoning the village. He was pretty vague, though, so Trey decided to explain it in a little more detail.
"The corrupted areas drain the life force of anything that stays there for too long, and turns them into zombies. It's close to this village, so we have to leave as soon as possible."

Everybody else was already awake by the time Josh woke up. He thought that after everyone had gotten a good night's sleep, they would stop hating each other. That wasn't the case, though. Spruce and M still had a problem with Daniel, which caused the conflict between Anthony and Spruce to escalate even more. Celes and Kamina seemed to at least tolerate him, though. Maybe they would be able to talk some sense into their teammates.

In their rush to leave Allure, they forgot to bring food with them. If Josh had any food, he would have given it to someone who hadn't eaten yet. He used to go without food for long periods of time back at the reef, so he was used to it. Unfortunately, though, he didn't have anything on him.

If everything went well today, they could rescue Kiera and be back at the guild before nightfall.
"Come on." Josh said. "If we get this mission done soon enough, we can all have a nice, big meal once we get back."
This would probably motivate them to hurry up. They would have to leave now, though, or they might have to spend another night in the middle of nowhere.
The mayor gave each of them a piece of paper that would allow them to take one piece of equipment from the armory. They were then joined by the Kobold they encountered outside of the village. He wanted them to hide him from someone in the crowd, who apparently wanted to make a necklace out of his teeth. After noticing that he didn't have a weapon, Robert convinced Backstabs to give him her paper.

The princess was already starting to piss off the townspeople, and she hadn't even been there for that long. The mayor slashed at her eyes with his claws, but unfortunately he couldn't even leave a scratch on her.
"This is going to be a long trip." Trey said. He had a feeling that the princess would only get more annoying as time passed. "Come on. Let's see what they've got for us in the armory."
Where is everyone?
[Josh]
Apparently, Spruce had some bad experiences with Shadow Pokemon in the past. As soon as he found out about Daniel, he immediately ran over to Anthony, and whispered something to him. Unlike Spruce, Anthony made no effort to keep the others from hearing him.
"Of COURSE I knew. Why the heck would that matter, anyways, huh!?"
"But... shadow pokemon are evil, aren't they?"
Josh sighed. They had already dealt with something like this before, back at the Victini village, and he didn't want to deal with it again. "We don't have time for this, Spruce." He said.

The sun was starting to set. As much as Josh wanted to keep going, they would have to wait until morning to continue. Their progress was slowed down quite a bit by that battle, and a bunch of sleep-deprived teammates would only hinder them even more.
"We'll get some sleep for now." Josh said. "As soon as the sun rises, we'll keep moving."
Apparently there was a stronghold to the east where the civilians could live until the blight was dealt with. The group was tasked with protecting them on their journey. Trey had no idea how far this stronghold was, but it sounded like they would be on the road for a while. The townspeople didn't seem to mind, though. They were used to moving from town to town at this point.
"So, what's the plan, here?" Trey asked the rest of the group. "We're inevitably going to run into something that poses a threat to us. We need to make sure none of the civilians get hurt."
