Another of my peeves is when people blame others for the death of a RP, instead of looking at the RP and seeing if the game itself was the cause of death and/or the reason people left.

I prefer anime to just about every cartoon. Period.

Hajime no Ippo boxing scenes alone outstrip any action American cartoons today can do.

As far as there being a lot of it, there is a quote from Dudel or Kestrel from old guild about why people play things. I can't remember it for the life of me.

Most deplorable characters/things you've RPed

One of the worst things I have tried to do in an RP, was in a zombie RP, and deemed too traumatizing for a child - who was allowed as a character in an RP with zombies trying to kill her and everyone else.

What was it? Found a girl who had been affected, but not turned. My character,a gangbanger released from jail during the whole deal, had an idea. It was to have the original girl kill the infected girl, before she went full Zombie. I was told that was too traumatizing for a kid, especially since part included them becoming friends prior to it.

I don't experience that too much honestly. my biggest issue in that vein, is telling people to get to X place to start, but they take forever.

partially my fault for not just starting them there. But still, they take their precious time.

In Allaria, I usually set it up so they know where to to go in their first/second posts.

I agree with Brovo.

If things die its because people let it.

Allaria lasted as long as it did because I was able to grow the world, and build up enough interest and loyal players to allow it to survive, albeit in different incarnations.

Provided a computer, at my new place, no doubt I could carry it through its third chapter, and beyond.

Funnily enough, it didn't need a complex plot or anything, just proper motivation.

that is also my pet peeve.
