I have absolutely no interest in getting my friends to pop on and tell people if/why I can't okay.

especially if the hospital is involved. Feeling a little sick? Sure I'll tell you. Unexpected trip to the hospital for a week. deal with it until I can come explain.
That is an important question
Like.a.charm why.do.you.ask? XD
When I GM, I push for everyone to push the story each post, which can be done in conversation. They usually know the endgame I want so they know what to do, plus I push the story why my posts as well.

More.GMs, I think, should.be more.flexible and.have viable enough. characters to work with any unexpected change on.in actions.
I don't mind anime Rps. Just the ones that let people use already established characters from said universe.

Bleach-verse is fine, having Ichigo and everyone as player characters is not.
If I'm going to read one then its going to be in the arena.
I think the better question would be "Do you understand what the setting is?"
At the rate original RPs die, they probably have no reason to reach out, or leave their comfort zone.

I don't leave mine venture into sci-fi. I'm not comfortable with it, so I see no reason to do it.
Casual probably has the most offenders because it's a larger part of the site, more people go there, and primarily stay there.
Another issue is when people, who start off weak, want to strike out alone despite it being completely bad for them to do so.

Like I was doing a Bleach RP, where ALL the player shinigami were new graduates, just now getting into their squads, and doing their first.missions.

Guy joins, no stronger than the rest, which is to say, anything with any real power comes and they are toast.

First mission he wants? Go to the Earth World. Like what? No. And he wanted it to be a solo mission.
High Casual, in my experience and during I short time using the term, has been nothing more than an advanced RP put into casual to avoid any potential advanced stigma.

Most in HC could do advanced if, and when, they wanted even if there wasn't a 2-3 paragraph minimum.

To me, it's usually a useless tag. But it has its use, casual draws a lot more people, so HC satisfies a variety of needs. Not enough to warrant its own section, however.
