Remember the fight we had when I used Kolskagg? He used runes (the Viking rune stones) similar to the way you are thinking of using the cards.

Yeah. I do. I was actually gonna detail out the cards and have a judge do the shuffling and go from There.
There could be a Glossary/FAQ Thread.
Personally if they do have another PW then I think any additions should be approved by the GM and added in AFTER the fight, perhaps with some sort of training post to accompany it. So you aren't just adding moves willy nilly and then going back to fight again then adding more and continually trying.
Oh. Yeah. Well he uses cards for combat. For instance a demon themed deck. Each card has a different ability that has as many uses as charges. Each has a God or Goddess and a King or Queen.

Currently my main issue is to whether I have him play the cards like YGO or whether he holds and charges them before usage. Currently I have it towards the former, though the last bit may help more with defensive purposes. Another issue is his defenses as the cards are his weapons and physically he won't be much to talk about.
I think it's posted in one of the threads here.

Which idea, Skally?
The Universe I began in on myyearbook wad mostly they random threads that, unless specified, carried over all stories. Fighting was a big part of it, but it wasn't the main thing. That may be the issue before.

On MYB the fights were ended usually at the end of the day, And the story had many differs.h facets besides fighting for dominance.
I think Guild would best by coming up with its own tier system or at least expounding upon the one we have to make it better.

I'm actually working on making a new character that I tried before. He uses themed decks for combat with influences from Malazan. just have to figure outhow to properly work it.
I would totally be down to participate though it'll be on a limited scale and kept to PMs here, as I lack a computer to do any real typing on.
High Casual is essentially AN advanced RP with access to Casual player base.

Anyone who can do High Casual can do Advanced.
For any fight I do I try to create a story for my character at least, so he has a reason for fighting that is more than "lol let's brawl"

For the challenge theead, I was thinking the IV could be used to describe the arena the poster wants to use, as well as any other relevant information, like if it's ranked or not, the OOC could be for talking about the fight as it progresses(iinstead of in the thread itself, which would cause bumps and other comments from people not involved. The players could use it to has out any grievances there; the challenge thread OOC would be for people to give praise or their thoughts on it), and the CS portion could be for people who are looking for fights and have posted in the IC, or plan on doing so, to post their character sheets, if any. Good way to build up a nice deposit of characters to browse through.
