If I take you up on that offer, will we be safe from the Sun?
I demand you create a character. of midget mimes.

Do.any if you have anything to add to the post I made? If not, I'll post it tomorrow. Then we can properly start.
Probably nay. Since that would involve a lot of. characters. Easier for people to post them per fight, in their match threads CS section.
The tournament won't start until May. Keeping on schedule.

@Altered Tundra When I create the HQ. You don't have to submit a character. You can just challenge someone using the CS area. You can include a CS there, or post one in the thread for your fight after you have a fight.

So basically.

HQ. OOC: General discussion.

HQ: IC "Card" for fights. as detailed above.

US: CS.: Basically make challenges this can include anything. An CS. preferred fight level(Normal, Powered, God) Arena. wager, if any. Any pertinent information. Then, I suppose things can be hashed out in the OOC or PMs once you have a judge chosen.

After that. Make thread.
I will in a bit. Wrote it on a phone. So. Hahaha.

There will be no actual CS. Just whatever CS you have for your character. The ranks are player based so, you can use as many characters as you want.

I'm thinking the first three probably would be high. Maybe 200 extra, 400, 600,600,1000. If four tournaments.

If 3

Then 300. 600. 1000.

can you all think of anything else that should be added?

The Official RPGuild Ranking Headquarters.

This us where many of the challenges for Guild's new ranking system shall take place, in so much as actually challenging other participants, keeping track of ranks, and viewing small "cards" with information about the fight.

How it works!

The process to getting a ranked fight is relatively simple.

First, you must be sure to register here, which is as simple stating your interest. You'll be given a beginning amount of points, which will automatically slot you somewhere on the ranking list. That point total is 1000.

From there, you are free to compete in accept, or announce, any open challenge. To do so, you simply post in the Character Sheet portion of g thread, or ask for a ranked fight in the Interest Check(you can also accept an open challenge there).

Another way to gain points is by participating in any of the OFFICIAL tournaments, which will be listed in the IC thread under their own heading. Some years may have three, and others may have four. Only HQ sanctioned tournaments will count towards points. They will be held either Jan. May. Sept. Or! Jan. April. July. Oct. Each aside from the last tournament of the year will a host, who'll decide how many points can be won as a bonus, and the various parts of the tournament.

How does a ranked fight work?!

Well, that's ultimately down to each fight. The person asking for a fight has free range to pick any type of fight and any arena they want, but you - as the challenged - have a right to accept or deny. Perhaps you can even negotiate it. Each fight WILL have a judge, on hand, to watch over the fight. You have to accept the judge. Their ruling, in many cases, will be final.

The other part of a ranked fight includes a wager, which can be anything from a minimum of 25 points, to an item your character has. Waters are not mandatory.

The fight will take place in its own thread, but a small "card" will be posted in the IC portion of this thread. This will be done by the judge. It will include the names of all parties involved, comments by both participants and the judge, a link to the fight, the name of the arena, and if any wager was made. After the fight concludes, it will include the win type(Death, Surrender, etc.).

Arenas can be picked from the Arena BattleGround thread, or made up on the spot.

Well, how do I advance in the rankings?

Quite simply, you win matches! Nearly a higher ranked opponent won't give you their spot, but it'll certainly give you points! And if you managed to secure a point wager, then they'll even LOSE points afterward!

In other words, the more points you get the higher in the ranking you go!

Wait! They don't lose points?!

No. Not unless they wager more than 25 points!

A victory is worth 100 total points.

A draw is worth 50 to both participants.

A loss is worth 25!

In a tournament, this steadily increases for the winner, but that's up to the discretion of the tournament host.
My own son got locked up in prison, and I didn't save his life.
Tonight. I'll set to working on writing up the challenge thread itself.

The OOC for general chat about it.

The IC will be used to document each fight, primarily including participants, including the judge, a link to the fight, any wagers, arena, and that should be if.

The CS can be more or less for open challenges, preferably one fight per post, but that's not required.

Eventually I wanna see if Mahz can add in a Ranked tag, but until then I'm thinking.just add "Ranked" to the title of each fight. Such as "[Ranked] Skallagrim vs Innue"
It'd have to be closer to the weekend, but I'll definitely check it out. Haven't see it before! @Altered Tundra
Cyrus vs Arc was good. But my top three were Poe vs King, Lance vs Ruth, and Zeus vs Thor. Woman wise, Cleopatra vs Marilyn was a killer. The Hitler vs Vader ones progressively lost steam. The first was epic though.
