This will be a constant project, so it'll continue even if I'm at my 2-3 fight limit.

I'm ready for another challenge.

currently, I'm looking for a Nature manipulation key, and a frost manipulation key; however i am not objecting to other keys.

as before, 'key holder' chooses the challenges, and the stipulations(so long as far).

@Melonhead Thanks for the great race, and the Key, you played your part to perfection! That could have went either way, and had you asked, I would have suggested a coin flip or something similar to decide.
His lungs were categorically on fire. The world was naught but a blur. His arm sang the praises of pain, like the loud biosterious voices of a choir. He ran with all his might, his one advantage on a mountain against an aptly named Mountain Goat. Each step brought about a gritted wince, each breath brought new fires to his lungs.

But he ran.

Havardr wasn't meant for speed, but damn could that creature book it across the leveled out top. Kei'taro was behind him, then alongside him, then ahead of him. He didn't know any better, but he thought he won. He stopped only when he saw more mountain rising before him.

The thumping hooves of Havardr brought him around. The Goat, like himself, was having a substantially difficult time breathing.

He may have nodded while Havardr spoke, he may have any formed some sort of hoarse reply. Probably not, he was dead tired.

But he had won.

He stepped closer to Havardr and reached his hand out, placing it on the head of the creature. His legs burned with effort, and it was amazing that he was able to even lift his arm. But he did.

"Thank you, Havardr. You and your mountain have taught me well, and I promise to always be a friend." He breathed. It hurt. But it was done. A mystical forced flowed from the Goat, to his hand, down his arm and to his torso. It stopped between the third and fourth rib. A small illustration of a goat appeared. The Mountain Goat Key.

He nodded to Havardr and turned.

It took him ages to get down the mountain, even though it was substantially easier than getting up to it. With a word, he ignited a small fire.

Then all was black.

The Beast King.

Kei'taro.

He passed out.

If you die, your tombstone is gonna say "gg bitchtittles"

And I'd totes take care of your mom. Wink. Wink.

No I wouldn't. Lisa would murder me.
Interconnecting stories and all. Hahahah.

I know how Alphonse fits in with Rilla, not related, but by events and stuff. Unsurprisingly, it involves Liaison, though probably not in the way people would think.
He saw his four legged Mountain Goat opponent, Havardr, turn and look upon him. A mere man, or was he, survived an avalanche. Survived one of the most damaging, cataclysmic natural disasters to ever befall mankind! And the shit had broken his arm. He lopped along, picking up speed and trying to regulate his breathing.

It was hard! His arm was broken and thriving in pain, the cold seeping into his flesh and embracing the tendons and muscles around the break. He set it, and it would hold, but much more time on the mountain and he would either lose the arm, probably permanently, or have to deal with a permamently injured limb.

Neither was an attractive option.

The winds of the blizzard were slowing down, the mountain seemingly having exhausted itself. Yet, she still had physical attributes to overcome.

As he passed the fourth waystone, he could see Havardr. The blasted goat was easily scaling the near vertical face of the mountain. Surely he was tired? Surely it was difficult! Kei'taro gritted his teeth. The mountains waning snow made it easier to see. He began his climb, using his formidable eyesight to see areas where he could grab or step.

He made good time, the side of the mountain he was own didn't seem entirely difficult, but he was still climbing one handed up a mountain.

The mountain began to flatten out, and off to the side he could see his nimble steps had placdd him nearly neck and neck with Havardr, or in his case neck and rear. The fifth waystone, the final waystone, was just up the way. It would be a mad dash.

Breathe.

Sprint!

He took off as fast as his aching body could take him. There was still some distance. Maybe, just maybe, what he learned from this travels would aid him. The speed. The endurance. The will. The mountain was to be conquered.
I usually connect everything to Rilla, and his story. Everyone fits, in a sort of way. Family, or enemies, or something.
I'll pick one here soon. Perhaps one I haven't developed yet. We can talk about potential stories, however.

At the moment, however, I wanna clear up some of my current bouts.

°: Quite simply that was a charge. Should you attack me and make contact that, or my most recent charge whichever the case, will be nullified.
The woman, a strange creature, had begun to step towards the center of the platform. At this juncture, he could tell that she had some type of chi manipulation. Throughout all his travels he has seen nothing of the sort. Matching her purpse, he too began to walk towards the center of the arena.

"You see, mi'lady, I am on a certain quest and for me to complete it I must hone myself," he started to explain. "To do that I have been Christened in Chi, as some in our world would call it. I can sense that you are not famaliar with the term." The distance had closed more now.

"Chi, here, is most often referred to the life force that inhabits all. I sense that your brand may be similar. Those Christened in Chi may manipulate it to aid in combat or a variety of things." He stopped talking, he was a full meter away from the center, leaving a meter and a half between the two. With his quick reflexes, he could parry or block any incoming physical attack from this distance.

Maybe.

He nodded towards the strange weapon at her side. "May I ask the nature of your weapon?" The object was as strange to him as the lobby of the dreaded tournament, and to that of that tiny musical device the Beast King, Kei'taro was ever seeking to return. It seemed technological, far more than anything he had ever owned. The way she fingered it gave him the notion that it was a weapon.

Perhaps it was.

A light blue sheen began to form along the edge of his weapon, as the Chi he controlled was being channeled into it.° With enough Chi, perhaps, he could push this woman to her limits.

"Again, I implore you - Ladies first. Or shall I do the honors?" After all, they had come for a fight
