Sorry if my thoughts aren't coming across clear. I'm on my phone right now. Too lazy to be bothered with getting out of my bed and sitting at my computer. Haha

Are you sure you aren't my old friend from MYB, because that sounds just like him. You remind me of him. I think he's tryna trick me!

Also, your idea is interesting, it'll be put to a vote.
No, just that particular post. And if you happened to be traveling in a post, you'd clarify that as well. Starting location, ending location.

So basically, the entire MV would be on thread, and each post would have the location of the player(MExico City), and what they are doing therE?
An example of the debriefing thing:

Universe: Primordial-Verse (such is the name I call my characters universe)
Location: Mexico City, Mexico. Primordial Earth

And everything that happens in that thread affects the entirety of Mexico City, Mexico? And there stories therein?

I know this is the arena section and all, but what if coming face to face with another character, didn't always mean fighting? What if you could even form alliances? Even weaker characters can make friends and possible take down a bigger foe. That'll make it easier for a variety of levels. And what if you could advance story lines in this multiverse with others or even by yourself. In one continuous thread were the player will simply post a debriefing above each post of where they are? What if at the center of all these universes is this great power pulling on the universes and causing gaps where people can go back on forthfrom their own universe, to the central universe and even to other universes (for purely explosive purposes, of course) This could allow room for a lot of creative stories and fights that normally wouldn't be possible or considered. And then potentially leave room for other things, like tournaments and such. Perhaps story lines like keitaro's (sp?) Could become more strange as he discovers New beast in other worlds. These are all just thoughts. Discect them as you feel necessary.

Well, no, it doesn't always have to mean fighting and alliances certainly aren't out of the question. They would be a fine addition, and in fact, I think there were some groups in one of the previous incarnations.

The point of the MV would be to advance storylines, if people have them, though some really don't care about them.

You'll have to explain more about the debriefing thread, henceforth known as that.

The MV would effectively be bringing a lot of them together anyway, so bits and pieces from each universe may end up appearing in the overall world, whichever one we happen to be using.

Which would bring up another issue, what world, if any, will we be using. Last time, and Melon is right about this, the world was big and and didn't promote fights so much as keep everyone apart, unless they had agreed on an area to start in.

And no, that won't work, otherwise - there is no need to decline a fight. If I'm paying for someone's head, them saying "nah, not today" isn't gonna stop me, or the merc trying to get paid. If the rule is "yeah, declining fights means the fight doesn't happen", then it will, that's the end - no moolah for the merc, no head for the hitmaker.
No, the target. In the last MV, we allowed for people to just turn down a fight. Yeah I'll fight, no I won't fight. And the would be challenger couldn't force them to do it.
If they hire a guard, that'll give them more of a chance to run.

No, it's best if running is always an option, because yes - they can still be chased, caught, and fought.

That's not the debate; the debate is whether or not they'll have the chance to decline the fight, outright, or if they won't.
That'll bring in the issue of 'how much is enough'.

It's better if we decide, beforehand, if people can deny fights. They'll always have the option to just run.
Well mercenaries probably arent going to try and challenge their target, their methods will probably be ambush or assassination. A mercenary will probably be someone who wint let their target escape, they want their reward.

But guards do

I'm joking.

The thing is, in the last one, we had a rule where you could sort of just - decline a fight - but we were also fighting for points/level up, and whatnot.
No, hard to read colors in general. Like that.
Just be sure to be respectful with your colors. Some colors are outright eyeraping.
