no, you'll be going to the center blob to start, and then the latter portion of Melon's post comes in. the middle one will essentially switch. he won't, however, be able to pond hop to the other blobs.

I have never been in an active role-play longer than a couple weeks.

Weekly. When running an RP, I require each person to post once a week. No more, no less. If they post more, cool. Not required.

He didn't know how was continued to be dragged into the merciless games of Liaison, how whenever the man called he was sure to pick up both of his swords and answer the challenge. A vein attempt to behead the man, perhaps, a chance to find some sort of weakness.

He opened the manilla envelope knowing what he'd find. The Liaison had a fondness for the materia he called Dust, but it was really unimaginably small pieces of microtechnology that served various functions. Microphone, surveillance, and hyper teleportation devices.

Awash came a blue light, bathing him in a glow that resembled his chi manipulations. Oh Liaison was a douchebag.

When his molecules arranged themselves and he was fitted back together, he was standing on a magnificantly sized black blob. He'd heard of this arenar before, quickly becoming popular. It had properties that allowed whoever was atop it to change it into any environment. At the end of the Blob, there was an expanse of space, blue as the unclouded sky at high noon. Across that space, another Blob, which served as the center was present. According to the rumors, it didn't change, serving as neutral ground for the particular battle.

Craning his head, he could see that the center blob served as a focal point, and that he was on the Eastern blob in relation to the rest. There was one to the North, South, and West. Each was separated from the center by a mile of open space. And each, over the course of the battle, would come to the center as the primary battleground. A hand of God, so to speak, made the changes.

Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes and envisioned what his blob would be. An open field of grass, swaying high in the gentle breeze. A small drizzle, with the sun at the very edge of a cloud. Itt caused his blob to increase in size by half a mile, but still it didn't force itself into the space. No, his blob would always be a mile from the center.

Satisfied, the Dust came back and he was transported to the center blob to await the other four.

Are you saying they're connecting in a big cross road shape? With a blob in the middle and a blob at each compass point?

No, I'm saying they aren't connecting at all. it is indeed a compass shape, but each blob is separated by essentially air.

Take five pennies.

Set one in what would be the center, set the others an equal distance away from it in each of the cardinal directions. That's essentially the battlefield.

If I were on my computer, I'd draw a rather crude image of it, but my girlfriend is watching OITNB.

Would it help If I wrote up a mock post? Also, you can go and add in how much bigger your blob got with the change as well, otherwise it'll be the size of the unchanged blob.
