First thing before getting into anything, let's not forget the first and the most important rule I have listed about following the fundamental rules of the site, especially concerning keeping things Fonz cool. A discussion, healthy debate or even maturely disagreeing with someone in a reasonable fashion is good and by all means encouraged but going beyond that and leaving Fonz territory is not tolerated here. I hope I won't have to go beyond this general warning to everyone on this matter.

Thus in the order of OOC posts submitted-

1) Ryver (as well as everyone else since there is good information here), I think we settled everything via Skype (which we really should start up a group skype for those wanting to do so, I'll form the group right now and add in anyone who wants to join if they PM me their Skype name).Once everything is settled out with Wilson's character sheet, chapter three ideas (which is on TitanPad), Reformer's base information (which BlessedWrath is leading the work on but feel free to read/ contribute via TitanPad) and getting up the next IC post I'll update the summary section (AKA the Story so Far section on page on of the OOC) but for now I think we're on the same page

2) ArcanicNeon, good question. Of course even though I know a bagillion songs, this is the time I forget nearly all of them that would fit.

Anyways until I can figure out a better song with the "you" being the Reformers



3) Wilson. Yes, I am sorry for the delay as I said in my prior post I've been busy with work and as always roleplaying will come secondary to my own health and obligations that I have and as frustrating as it is I cannot stop my job or stay up late before a long shift and have the potential of being tired at my job which precision and accuracy is vital role in my job and sleep deprivation is something I cannot have on the job.

If your decision stands at leaving, by all means feel free to do so. I rather not leave on conflicting terms but it would be a better choice instead of having bitterness seep into the roleplay as time goes on if this confliction is not fully resolved between us as well as BlessedWrath. However if you are willing to move on and continue working on your character sheet with keeping in mind of being Fonz cool, feel free to do so and continue reading. If not, I hope this is a learning experience for both of us and will help you with your roleplaying down the road.

Although you've narrowed down your powers from having both electric powers and powers concerning neural impulses, I am still uncomfortable in the range your character's power has. Sure sensing living beings and seeing impulses in the brain is fine. Seeing the impulse work its way through the afferent neurons to the brain due to a stimulus or have it move out from the brain to efferent neurons is fine by me. Even seeing many impulses move from the occipital lobe to the temporal could potentially correlate(but not causate) a memory of some sort based on what a person might be seeing is okay too . Knowing what the memory is about or bits and pieces of what the memory could be or even if it is a memory(since the temporal lobe deals with more than memory and the configuration of the lobe is different in each person) is a no go.

As BlessedWrath has stated for you, each character is limited to a narrow spectrum of power that will also not collide with another character's (whether NPC or player made) ability. Your best choice if you are wanting to interpret the meaning behind impulses seen in the nervous system is going along with what BlessedWrath said with the ARA or something similar that you might be interested in so that you can detect primal behaviors concerning the flight or flight response.

You come to a choice now. You can either change your powers to fit into what is acceptable (mindreading/empathy being a no-no) or try your luck with this character in another roleplay. I've intentionally created characters weaker with the mindset of not making them greatly overpowering against normal humans as well as having to depend on each other more often during a battle. Creating the level system (what I had you do by writing down what your character is able to do at level 1,3 and 5) as well as limiting the range of ability is two such ways I've used to keep levels on the lower spectrum of things. Good luck in either way you choose.

Sorry for the delay Wilson. Work picked up a bunch these past few days with a project's shipment date being moved forwards which caused me to return home pretty late to finish things up in time and have been going straight to bed after making dinner. I have tomorrow off so I don't need to worry about staying up too late so let me grab a cup of coffee and wade through everything and I'll get up my responses for both here and in the PMs sent to me.

Ryver, I had one question for you. What is your stand with Callie's power with living things? It might be a bit too far if she is able to change a person into solid chocolate or something (but would be quite tasty. Would that be considered as cannibalism?). As long as you are not changing living things to candy I think your character will work out. Accepted!

Wilson, thank you for changing things up. There's a few things I'm still iffy about. I see that you're on, want to meet on IRC since that'll probably be faster than PMing each other so that we can get you in the IC soon.

Jenna probably would want to grab her cellphone while in a panic so that she could call for help but later remember that she isn't sure how to control her powers enough not to destroy her phone. No help for Jenna I guess...

As for my own question, with the gift card she probably would use it to buy coffee every morning until it runs out. She is a bit of a coffeeholic.

Sorry for the delay Penguin. Here's one of the two characters that I will be playing. Kendra's cousin Keith (probably around 19-20 years old) will hopefully be finished tomorrow.

Kendra Bell

Name:Kendra Bell
Age: 30
Gender: Female
Nomadic or sedentary: Nomadic but is looking for a sedentary life
Weapons: A 22 without ammo and a hunting knife
Skills: Kendra is a highly skilled medical personnel although her fighting, hunting and other skills are a bit lacking due to most of her focus centered around the former.

Any unusual traits? Does it show physically?: Kendra cannot feel pain which is both a curse and a blessing for her. Although she can feel pressure, temperature and the like, her free nerve endings are either nonexistent or severed and is unable to send impulses to the brain. This can be problematic for her since she isn’t able to feel the severity of an injury she might receive or even that she is hurt but she also able to work through nearly anything that harms her, granted blood loss, concussions and the like will still cause trouble for her.

Appearance: (I can search for a picture if you are wanting one tomorrow) Standing at 5’6”, Kendra is on the leaner body structure although with the state of the world, it isn’t much of a difference compared to most people today. Kendra is found with hazel eyes and dark brown hair kept in a single braid so that it out of her way while working. With an average appearance, the biggest distinguishing part of her appearance is a deep scar on her left cheek and smaller scars found throughout her body due to her cutting herself without noticing.

Brief Personality: In order of importance, Kendra values her family (Keith and Payton), work and lastly herself. She keeps a serious persona around her keeping most of her focus and attention to Keith and Payton as well as patients and thus rarely gives her time to enjoy the moment and relax.

Background: Born to an upper middle class family, Kendra had an average childhood growing up as an only child. However as 2015 rolled around, things quickly changed for Kendra. Her hometown was one of the earliest things hit in the war by a stray bomb from the Russians which she avoided by pure luck due to her spending that weekend at her uncle on her father’s side and his family at the beach. Knowing that it would be dangerous for them to check on her family, Kendra permanently stayed her Aunt Christie, Uncle Andrew and her cousins Keith, Annie and baby David. Although she still remembered much before the war while her parents were still alive, did her best to push that part of her past aside claims that it is a life faded away from her memory.

While living with her uncle, Kendra learned a lot from the man. With him as her role model, she did her best to learn as much as she could about the medical field in hopes that when the war is older she could go to college and become a doctor. However as the years went by and her knowledge grew as quickly as the world’s population diminished she knew that becoming a doctor with a legitimate degree would be a farfetched idea that seemed to be something that wouldn’t come to existence. However she didn’t let that dismay her and did her best to model Uncle Andrew both in work and his persona he carried even through the turmoil and losing his wife and two youngest children. Living a semi-nomadic life with Keith and her uncle, the trio moved from settlement to settlement often making trades for food, supplies and shelter in return medical aid until Uncle Andrew passed away one evening when a trade with a group when south and led to his death leaving Kendra and Keith alone together.

A year later the two have kept up mostly with Uncle Andrew’s ways in giving aid, although both are much more guarded and careful on who they trust. Continuing east as they’ve always done, the two found a young girl that could be no older than six one day near the brink of death. Although she is in much better condition than when they found her, the girl is still very weak due to the radiation and Kendra doesn’t know how much time Payton has left. During the last few months the three of them have been traveling south in hopes of finding somewhere warmer.

Alone or with someone?: Keith (Cousin) and Payton

Other: Kendra has backpack filled with medical supplied collected over time ranging from but not only bandages, stethoscope, scalpel and all sorts of medicine although some of their expiration dates are a bit iffy
