Dear life, I was told to get one but you are killing me. Can I get a refund on the extra hours at work and the lack of sleep for a bit of freetime. Yours dearly, The Coffeeholic

Sleep? You mean there is a such thing called a regular sleep schedule?

"You got that right, the government has to find some way to cover their tracks up." Josiah said, chuckling in agreement. "As long as they don't enlist me into world war four anytime soon, I'll be fine." As he watched the students, Josiah saw another another student exiting the building. "It looks like John and Jack are coming to join the party." Josiah said as he returned a wave towards the man. Although Josiah was mostly civil towards the duo, he was still cautious towards John and his actions towards the other students. "Coming to check out the new students?" Josiah asked as the duo came closer to the two with a small smile. "Which I hope won't be anything more than that John." Josiah said in a serious tone specifically towards John. "The new students have more than enough to deal with today without someone trying to mess with them."

Tia nodded as she listened to Sage as he spoke about his own similar experience at the hospital. What Sage said seemed to be something unbelievable, there had to be a logical explanation of what happened. Maybe all of this was just a prank, maybe her brothers were trying to get at her. That seemed plausible option to her. However, before she could ask if her brothers were the ones setting everything up, Terry started to speak. Watching the iPod, Tia jumped back out of surprisal as the iPod started to lift off the ground. "Oh god, that's freaky!" Tia exclaimed, knowing now that what was happening was true.

Looking up as the bus stopped, Tia listened as a man started to explain what was happening. She didn't like the sound of what was happening as she wondered how they were going to teach them how to use their abilities. She had questions she wanted answered and although she knew that the man said that they would have to wait, she hoped she could some answered now.

"Hey, wait a-"

However before Tia could finish her question, the sound of gunshots reached the bus. Quickly dropping back down in her seat, Tia looked around wondering what was happening. The young girl watched as another person came onto the bus. Although the girl's appearance and where the girl came from concerned Tia a bit, she was also curious about the other girl. She hoped that she could meet the girl later on and learn more about her.
Ooh, this guys seems interesting,l I'm excited to see how this progress. I just got home now so I'll start working on my post now.
When you persuade yourself that adding "just one more roleplay" won't be a problem when you find an interesting roleplay.

Ironic that my name is Marina and its meaning has to do with the sea.
Thanks, I've been enjoying it. I currently have fifteen different sigs on a rotation so be on the lookout for the others.

Harper was surprised how well things were going. Glancing back as Althea talked about getting lost, Harper had to agree. Suddenly, a sharp, gripping pain came from her wrist. Surprised, a small yelp escaped her lips as she pulled her arm towards her as she tried to escape the hard grip from the whip. However, before she could get free a hard force hit her head, causing her to drop her weapon. "Guys..." Harper said urgently as she tried to warn the others about the attackers as she tried to fight blacking out. As the tunnel suddenly became dark, she felt her knees hit the ground hard as she felt herself slip away.

Hearing the girl's sudden outburst, Zed quickly unsheathed his weapon. Suddenly, he could hear footsteps behind him quickly picking up it's pace as it made it's way towards the group. Turning around, his visibility suddenly disappeared as Straw's lantern went out. Readying his weapon, Zed listened to the footsteps as it quickly came closer. Swinging his sword as he hoped to hit his target, his attack failed as it swung through the air. However, his target was more successful as he felt a blade unexpectedly hit his sword, loosening his grip. Quickly following the first attack, a hard punch landed on his face making his stumble back a few steps. Pulling up his arm to strike again, his attacker was ready as Laele attacked mid-swing unarming the man.

Kicking the sword away, Laele quickly took advantage as the man stumbled around now weaponless. Grabbing a stone off the ground, she slipped around the man and quickly hit him on the head before he could find out where she was. As the man fell towards the ground, Laele turned around to see the progress. The younger girl was taken out and the older woman was all that was left. It was almost too easy.
"Hey Emilie." Annie said with a slight smile as she greeted the woman as she joined her and Cameron. Unlike a few people in the group who were a challenge to be genuinely friendly towards, Emilie was someone that Annie didn't have a problem liking. Watching curiously as the woman fiddled around with her bag, Annie's face lit up as Emilie handed her the supplies she found at the university. "Oh wow, thanks." Annie said gratefully accepting the items Emilie found. Growing up, she often heard how she was privileged compared to some families across the world by living in a house or having all the stuff she had but she never noticed how much it meant to her until the infection started when she saw how much the little things could mean to her.

"Hey Annie, I noticed that you were running low on water." Cameron said walking closer towards the two. "Why don't you take mine and split the water in half. From what it sounds like there's a town not too far away and we can fill them up then but you'll need some until then." Cameron said as he motioned towards his backpack where intentionally left it. As the girl left to do what Cameron said, the man turned towards Emilie and spoke in a hushed tone quiet enough so that the girl wouldn't hear either of them. "Thanks for doing that. Although she doesn't like to show it, it's been hard for her since she lost her brother."

"Oh I was wondering," The girl said heading back towards the to with Cameron's backpack in one hand. "Do you think when we have time you could help me out? I want to be able to help out more and be able to defend myself so I don't have to hold you guys back. I don't know if I'll be able to handle a machete like Cameron or an axe like Emmet but maybe something less gruesome like a gun or maybe a bow. I was thinking about trying to learn how to use both and was wondering if you could teach me how use a bow at a later time." Although the girl didn't like the idea of having to kill, she knew she would have to learn because Cameron and the others wouldn't be able to be there all the time.
A soft sigh escaped Annie's lips as she closed her backpack up with her supplies. It was another dreadful morning, another day of living on the road as the group fought for survival. Annie hated it. She hated leaving Washington without going back to see if her parents were still alive, she hated scavenging for food, she hated all the killing and death that occurred and above all, she hated leaving her brother behind. She often timed pondered over the fact of ending the torment instead of struggling everyday but the thought of failing and becoming infected while weak frightened her enough to not try. However, she knew that she had to stay optimistic and knowing that things would get better soon, it was easier to do so. She would be safe once she made it to Montreal. She wouldn't have to run anymore nor be scared, life could start to become normal again. Sliding her backpack onto her back, she walked over towards Cameron who was crouching in front of his bag to see if he needed any help.

"Hey kid, are ya' all packed up?" Cameron said with a slight smile as he carefully placed the coiled rope he had into his bag.

"Yeah, need any help?" Annie asked as she passed the man's duct tape to him.

"Nah, I'm about done." Cameron said as he accepted the tape and tossed it into his bag. Standing up, Cameron stretched his arms upwards as he released a small yawn. Looking around the camp, it still felt weird that Milo wasn't there. Although he wasn't a part of the team that went to the University, he heard enough from the trio to know what happened. Although a bit saddening, it seemed fitting for Milo to go out with a bang with a heroic death as he did instead of any other means. Cameron only hoped that the man didn't become one of the infected. Killing someone that he knew that became infected was one thing he hoped that he wouldn't have to do as the group made their way to Montreal.

Glancing towards the two brothers nearby, Annie gave a small chuckle before speaking to Cameron in a hushed tone. "It looks like the two are at it again."
