The Story:

The Setting:

The story is set in a modern high school, with the champions of the gods awakening their dragons in a dream. Each player will thereafter be able to talk to their dragons as if talking to themselves. Each champion is a student or staff member of the school and they do not know who the other champions are. The school was built right on the border of the gods’ territories unbeknownst to the rest of the world. After the awakening, monsters begin to appear late at night when no one but the champions are in the school. The champions’ roles are to defeat these monsters to regain the dragons’ powers as well as living their normal lives during the day. Others may become concerned or suspicious depending on the way your champion performs. If the champion acts in an unusual manner, NPCs may decide to investigate.

There are 6 dragons in total. Their names are:
• Taurrin - Earth taken by Balthazar
• Aurious - Air taken by BrobbyDDark
• Axilon - Water currently free
• Dienze - Fire taken by Twistedgrin
• Luxius - Light taken by Raijinslayer
• Nuul – Darkness taken by me
Dragon names are not final

A soft 10 minut warning bell sounded off in the halls. It did not mean that breakfast was over, but more so that it would be in 10 minuts, and the students would be expected in their next class within 20.(Reserved space. Ill add somethig here soon. Im going to give someone a mission, i just dont know who yet. Could people post in OOC if you want a mission?)

Now would probably be a good time to give Noémie that hot chocolate

She's missing breakfast
Well. Alphonse thought. This new job promises to be... Interesting.

This serial killer/self proclaimed emperor Dodo was most certainly a curious character. He'd often seen this kind of personality in his travels, but never in someone with his degree of supernatural powers. And he most certainly hadn't seen emperors like him, except for the ones that 'claimed' their thrones, most often from the corpses of their dead brethren.

Perhaps that was the case with this emperor. Either way, he had been given a greeting and following the mannerisms he had become accustomed to, he couldn't ignore a greeting from an individual he was trying to acquaint himself with.

He also couldn't ignore the fact that there was a live fire breathing catfish on his plate, which he should probably deal with. In addition to that, the bell had already gone and the students were starting to leave breakfast, presumably to head to their classes. He should probably go and find his rooms and organize his first lesson before his class started.

First impressions are incredibly important, He mused. So let's make this a good one shall we?

He sat up a little in his chair.

"Considering that you already know my name, you may call me whatever you wish." He started. "However..."

In one fluid motion, he loosed his blade from his cane, quickly slashing the blade upwards with his right hand; cutting the table, his plate and the catfish neatly in half. Then, he flipped his point downwards, and he kicked the sheath his cane blade upwards with his feet. As it fell, he stood up from his seat and plunged his blade back into its sheath. His cane, now whole again, hit the ground the ground with a solid clunk.

"I would prefer it if you called me Alphonse." He finished as he bent down slightly to grasp the emperor's outstretched hand. "Pleased to make your acquaintance."
He shook the emperor's hand firmly and left the dining hall to go find his rooms.
Alphonse put his glass back onto the table with a thud.

Hm. He thought. Gotta love breakfast.

He looked up around him and noted he'd finished his Tower fairly quickly. All of the other students and teachers were only halfway through, and he'd just demolished about a few inches of solid bacon. He'd also noted that his digestion process had started and he had a slight white glow, which was slowly increasing in intensity. In a few minutes it would peak, and stay like that for an hour or two. Then it would slowly diminish and his digestion process would finish in about the same time as a normal human.

Alphonse looked around the room a little noting some minor details. The second headmaster was nowhere to be found and it looked like all the students were in the dining hall.

That student looks late. He observed.

He saw a girl almost fully white except for her eyes which were almost pitch black. She had the look of someone in a new place trying to get her bearings.

She'll get used to it. He thought. Probably.

So far on his many travels around the world, he had found that unusual people had the easiest time adjusting to a new environment. In the Academy for the Gifted, he had been told that all of the people who are sent or travel there to study were somewhat unusual so he supposed that all of the people here adjusted pretty easily. Speaking of unusual people, he would probably be classified as one as well, considering how he was glowing right now.

He shrugged, accepting that the world he was in was really unusual and he probably should stop thinking about it.

That is until what looked like a blood soaked serial killer popped out from under the table, grinning playfully.

"Who here missed me~?" He/She/It/somethingorother said.

Well. Alphonse thought. Speak of the devil, and the devil he shall appear.

"I'm sure you would be one to be missed, considering the mess you're making, but I am not one who would miss you." Alphonse replied. "Perhaps we should get acquainted."

Forgot about her and Wirejack actually. Whoops. I'll add that in now.

Oh, and you listed me twice
Best. Idea. EVER. Alphonse thought.

He hadn't been satisfied with just a pile of bacon, he had had that countless times beforehand. But now that he was in a wondrous buffet such as this, a simple plate of bacon wouldn't do. He needed to raise his standards, a commoner's pile would not do justice to the veritable feast, right in front of his eyes. So he had gotten creative.

He had a field day, touring the breakfast buffet, and piled an assortment of goodies on his plate. He grabbed a waffle, 3 sausages, four eggs and a whooole lot of bacon. He put enough bacon to fill any gaps in his plate, then he layered a large amount of bacon on top of all of his food and finally another waffle on top. He also grabbed a tall glass of orange juice, his favourite juice, for after he finished his creation.

Firstly, he flipped a waffle upside down and piled some bacon on it. He used about a third of it, which was enough for 2 or three layers of bacon. He placed an egg on top of the bacon, then sliced his sausages and put half of one on top of the first egg. He then piled on another sixth of the bacon, another half of a sausage and another egg. He then mirrored the entire process to complete his Unholy Tower of Bacon.

There was probably enough cholesterol in that to kill someone. Maybe.

To finish it off, he poured some syrup onto the waffles.

Hm. He thought. I might have a lot of trouble eating this.

The Unholy Tower was about 10 centimeters tall.

I guess I could just change my mouth size, He mused. But I don't really want to flash the whole school here.

The only way he was going to get to taste the Unholy Tower in all its glory, was to crush it. Just a little bit. He grabbed another plate and tried to gently lower it and slowly press the Tower into a smaller size. He lowered the plate until he felt like it would actually crush the Tower and then he took the plate away. The Tower for the most part looked unharmed, but the egg yolks had splattered a bit and were running down the Tower. It looked like the Tower had been reduced to a size somewhere around 5 centimetres.

Success.

With that ordeal out of the way, it was time to test his creation. He picked up the Tower, mindful of the yolk and syrup dripping down together. He put it in his mouth and took a bite.

Holy. Shit.

It tasted exactly how he'd thought it would. The syrup contrasted and accentuated the meats and the egg, while the runny egg yolk magnified and amplified the flavour of the thick layers of bacon. His teeth encountered little resistance as it tore through the layers of the Tower, and as he chewed his mouthful, he could taste all the flavours combining into an unholy, delicious conglomeration of goodness. He eagerly chewed his mouthful, eager to get another. In but two short minutes, the unholy tower had been demolished and devoured.

Alphonse sat back in his chair, orange juice in hand, with a contented sigh.

Best breakfast I've ever had.

Actually, in regards to powers, which ones we have?

As far as I know we got:

I just remembered, but I'm pretty sure I left a large man-shaped hole in the courtyard

Are we going to have to fix that?

The question hung silently on the air for several seconds before the headmistress stopped to answer it. A worried look hung upon her face. "Truth be told... Yes. Unfortunately." She stopped outside of the garden, and told the new teacher of the unfortunate events that had happened last year. She ended by saying: "Even teachers didnt seem imune to whatever this mysterious murder incident has unfolded. The last 2 casualties last year were both teachers, and yesterday, on thefirst day of school, there was a rather brutal murder in a restroom. Worse still, it seems to be that the ither headmasters and I are the primary suspects." She turned to face the teacher, and placed a tanned hand upon their shoulder. If he was capable of feeling, the icy touch should be taken into mental note. She was colder than the snow to the touch!"I must request of you as i have most of the teachers. Protect the students. They are the heart of the academy, and we cannot survive without them." After which, she put on a big smile and opened the doors to the academy. The smile was more for the student who may be overlooking on their way to breakfeast than it was the professor.

Wow. Alphonse thought. This school seems to have a problem.

He'd heard previously that the school had an unreasonably high death toll compared to even military schools. Apparently it had been that way since the schools founding, but if a headmaster was saying it was a problem, then the death toll must really be becoming a problem. There was also the fact that the headmasters were the most likely suspects for the increase in the death toll. He'd have to look into that later.

Death tolls aside, the second headmaster's skin was also unnaturally cold. It was the coldest hand he'd ever felt, he'd even felt some frozen corpses a while back when he had been stuck in the Arctic and those bodies weren't as cold as she was. The smile she had given, however, was surprisingly warm for her character. Even though he knew it was probably not for him, and more for the sake of the students that would've been looking onwards, he still thought it looked rather nice to see the second headmaster smiling.

It reminded him of a few times in the past. Some time ago, he wasn't sure how much time ago, he had once had friends in a place he no longer remembered. However, some way or another they had all died leaving him and someone else he'd forgotten alone. He wasn't told at the time, that his friends had died. He was told by the person he'd forgotten that they had to leave, and go to somewhere else. But he had found out somehow, that they had died. The smile the second headmaster was putting on for the students, reminded him of that person he'd forgotten. He was sure they were somewhat closer than friends, but he wasn't sure how close they were. He remembered it being similar to a parent-child relationship, but it was so long ago that he really couldn't remember it any more.

That aside, he could smell food, and delicious food at that.

Ah, he thought. Breakfast.

He didn't really need to eat, he was made entirely of moving energy really and didn't need any extra energy. But he could still taste, and breakfast was always usually delicious. Also, he was actually capable of digesting food but the energy he got from it always turned into excess light energy and leaked out of him. The phenomenon made him glow slightly, every time he ate.

Whenever he ate breakfast, he made sure to always eat bacon whenever he got the chance. It was probably the most delicious thing he'd ever eaten. Bacon was always good, in any place he'd been.

He headed to the dining hall, thoughts of a large pile of bacon dominating his mind.
