Face frozen with shock, Shana stared at the duel's aftermath. That... was kind of quick, wasn't it? Hardly anything had happened. That duelist's deck had to be way overpowered or something, right? Well... Shana highly doubted they would get to duel, so she probably had nothing to worry about there.
"Say, Flikkar, how long do you think we could last?" Shana asked her spirit. She got no reply, and assumed the little fireball with no way of speaking back hadn't heard her over the rising cheers of the crowd, "hey, Flikk-"

She turned her head, noting he wasn't hovering by her shoulder. Confused, she stood and scanned the crowd uneasily, eventually spotting him several rows away - heckling a cute, blonde girl in a dress.
"Flikkar!" Shana cried out, squeezing herself past the mob of watchers. After several minutes, she reached her spirit, which was currently pulsating and flickering wildly, as if trying to look intimidating to the poor girl. But why? It wasn't like the other Spirit could see h- wait, what.

Shana took a closer look at the girl. She had about the same transparency as Flikkar did, and... looked vaguely familiar. ...Could she be another of those Duel Spirits?!

"Er..." Shana looked at the person closest to the other Spirit, assuming them to be its partner or whatever. A red-headed girl in a green jacket, "Um, sorry if I sound crazy to you, but... do you see a girl being attacked by living fire?"
Okay... just need to decide on whether or not to play a Promoter or Cursed Child.
Alice

"...Sure, let's go with that," Alice shrugged dismissively, "I hear that I can be pretty mean, anyway."

Yeah... keeping their distance from each other would work out for the best, in the long run. All Alice wanted was to kill the Puppeteers and the Hunters, this girl was just... something she needed to use. Alice didn't exactly like that arrangement, but...

She had to wonder why this girl seemed so excited about it, though. Putting her age aside, the idea of killing monsters that invaded one's body and controlled their every action should not be something to find amusing, was it? Maybe she was just incredibly naive to the danger. Well, with any luck, Alice would make sure she wasn't exposed to any of it.
Ada

It was too much, It was too strange. Too impossible. Too surreal. Too... it was not something that was supposed to happen. Ada stared blankly, limp from fear, as the little girl straight-up massacred that mugger. Despite that, she took far more damage than any human could possibly sustain before finally dying. Then again... there was no way she was human. Neither of them could be.

With the woman dead, that left only Ada herself to be the target of the dangerous... thing. The blood on her seemed to dissipate as she approached, completely cheerful despite what had just happened. Was... was she going to die like that as well? The fear kept her paralysed, unable to escape. Ada didn't want to die, she wanted to go home, back where it was safe and-

When Dead Heart Shooter threw herself onto Ada, she shut her eyes tightly, expecting her torso to be torn to shreds by something, but instead... all she got was affection? Confused, Ada glanced at the strange girl hugging and apologising to her. What was even going on any more?
Ada found her fear abating as she stared. This girl... she no longer looked dangerous and frightening. She... she was just cute. And loving. And strangely attached.

Gulping, she worked up the courage to stammer, "W...who are y-you?"
Well, I'm very interested in this.
Hm...

Well, I'm interested in the setting. But since it's the anime I'm following, is there information from later I'll need to know? I don't care about getting spoiled, just want to make sure there isn't anything important.
Shana had taken her seat in the stands, and couldn't seem to sit still at all. The first duel hadn't even started and already she was hopping up and down, trying to figure out what kind of cards she would see, and wishing her turn would hurry up and appear so she could duel and have fun and oh god damn it play a damn card it was too suspenseful!

With Shana's whole body trembling with anticipation, the flickering flame known as Flikkar simply suspended itself above her head, body pulsing occasionally. As it was nothing more than a solitary flame with transparent eyes that most certainly didn't look like they belonged, Flikkar couldn't exactly hold a conversation. However, Shana had learned to read its... for lack of a better term, body language. Whenever Flikkar's flame pulsed rapidly, it was showing just how excited it was, and it was quite clear that Duelist and Spirit were of one mind.
Except nothing you said is even remotely connected to Vanguard. At all.

And generalising all anime and manga based on something universally hated by everyone, Japanese audiences included, doesn't really sit well with me.
Dude, stop spouting false claims. Especially that pedophilia stuff.
He's speaking a load of crap, so don't pay it any attention.
