I suppose I'll start with the basics. I'm a female, age 22, married, mother, from and currently living in the US.
Started rping about 8 years ago but haven't been doing much writing in the past 3 years.
Ridiculously unpredictable schedule, nonexistent motivation, professional procrastinator, tired mom.

Name: Hikaru Konishi
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Personality: The only comfort Hikaru has ever gotten is from the stability of his own company. Being with others has only damaged him. Constantly being pushed away and abused brought him to the point of realizing he's better off alone. Over all he's very timid and shy around people, but he still desires to find a place among them. Just because in the past he resolved to be alone doesn't mean he always wants to be. Hikaru is a gentle and kind soul who wants to help and protect people. He is passionate about the safety of the small mountain villages that are often over looked by the government. Learning is one of his top priorities at the moment. Though he is usually just a simple push over he now has a goal and is very stubborn about obtaining that goal.
History Hikaru was one of many children born to a family of farmers who lived in a mountain village. From a very young age Hikaru was bullied by his siblings and other children. This caused him to retreat into himself. While still just a child Hikaru stopped even trying to associate with the others. He liked to take his wooden sword into the mountains and practice. One fateful afternoon while he was alone in the mountains his whole family was murdered by a group of bandits. The village was helpless to defend them. After that Hikaru designated himself as the guardian of his village. He takes it upon himself to carefully watch over all those who live there. However no one takes him serious since he hasn't had any formal training.
Other: He wishes to be taken on as someone's apprentice . He isn't willing to learn from just anyone though.
Weapon(s): Katana and throwing knives
Appearance: Standing slightly above average, there isn't anything particularly impressive about Hikaru's stature. He is muscular and fit yet very slender, causing him to look somewhat awkward. His coordination is somewhat impaired by his continuing growth and awkward build. His hair is black with a dark blue sheen and is most commonly worn messy and unkept. His timid eyes are colored with an icy blue that strongly contrasts against his dark hair. He prefers dark clothing and therefore wears black most of the time.

I wrote it out this afternoon, now I have to type it and post it. I thought up more stuff but I think there's still a lot of room for growth. How's your other character coming?
So I think I finally have a concept for my second character! Nothing special, maybe just a filler / support character but he might turn into something better. At least I finally have something to do!
Those are some good tips. Usually I have tons of character ideas. Sometimes to the point I can't decide which I should do but this time I'm drawing a blank. So annoying.

It's fine. I'm just giving you a hard time. Ugh, I'm having such a hard time thinking of a concept for my other character.
