VeilsightCharlie caught site of the man in a mirror that hung on the wall. Her disposition stayed calm but her interest was triggered, not by the man himself but by Lucien's reaction. She heard what he muttered but chose to play it off. "Hm, what's that you say hun?" She asked with a smile and a tilt of her head.

I suppose I'll start with the basics. I'm a female, age 22, married, mother, from and currently living in the US.
Started rping about 8 years ago but haven't been doing much writing in the past 3 years.

@SolemnStories I can't tell you how long I've been waiting for someone to ask that! lmao I should have known it would be you. If you ever ask she'll just say that there is no carpet to match, she seems like the type to have that always taken care of.

With a grin and a chuckle Rin shook her head. "Still, I just want you to know I really appreciate it." She said and casually put a hand on his leg. She wouldn't admit it but she had dreams of Marcus nearly every night they were apart. It had felt like someone removed part of her. There were others she had made friends with, but none like Marcus. He was different then all the others, simply better. "After all this is over will spend the rest of the time just me and you, doing whatever it is we want." She said with a smile.
Rin could feel Marcus's eyes on her, like he was studying her actions. "Did you forget what I look like or something?" She teased him, actively trying to relax. This whole situation had her on edge. It's not that she didn't want to do it, but it's not everyday that you kidnap your step father with the intention of slowly killing him. Taking a deep breath she relaxed into her seat as much as she could. "Thank you for being here." she said softly.

Sheena leaned back slightly. "I am ready to travel immediately." She said with a nod. There was nothing tying her to this town, thankfully. Though she did have a past full of connections and ties she now has left that behind, the best she ever could at least. The things she has done, the people she knows, the places she has been, it's all like a ghost of her past.
Charlie sighed. "It really is a shame. All these people with such talents and all they do is fight and kill each other, like it's their only option. I suppose not everyone can be as level headed as you and me. " She said with a smile and a wink. The more he mentioned about himself the more intrigued she became.
