Personality~ Unlike her older sister, Kacey, Laura often wears her emotions on her sleeve. Her feelings in a situation or towards a person are often deep and passionate. Knowing that she tends to react on feelings rather than thinking her options out has helped her to somewhat tame them over the years. Her aim has never been to become stone cold though, and seeing her sister often put on such a cold exterior pains her deeply. Laura has a playful and curious mind, constantly wanting to learn and explore. Unfortunately this can be inhibited by her hatred of being controlled and told what she can and cannot do, occasionally mistaking someone's teaching methods as such. All her life she has been wild and free, and trying to change that only ever drives her away. That fact has caused strife between her and Kacey in the past.
Laura enjoys taking care of and pleasing others. Whether she'll admit it or not she wants a man to love and settle down with one day. Sadly her taste in men draws her to those who aren't interested in that kind of future. Even when she knows her infatuation for someone is unhealthy it's usually not so simple for her to turn off her feelings.
In short she is a passionate person. If she likes and cares for you she'll grace your world with many caring gestures, but if you are someone who has fallen on her bad side she can be a nightmare.
History~ (See Kacey's history for a more in depth explanation of her childhood history.) After the death of her parents when she was 7 her life drastically changed. Suddenly going from a relatively normal and peaceful family and childhood to now being on the run with the only familiar thing in the world being her sister. To say that it was hard would be an understatement, but over time she learned to cope with their newfound circumstances. While her older sister worked countless hours on the ranch to provide for the two Laura would usually spend her time with the other children or exploring the country side. When she grew a bit older she'd work to help the women in the house, sweeping, collecting eggs, making biscuits, any jobs like that but she still allowed herself the time to do as she pleased.
It didn't take long for those around her, namely the boys, to notice that she was growing into a beautiful young woman. Kacey tried to shield her younger sister from the troubles that she was sure to find but Laura's rebelliousness was as wild and strong as ever. After a particularly bad falling out the sisters split ways. Laura left with a young man who promised to married her, the two seemed so in love. Not long later she found herself waking up in a hotel and the man no where to be found, just like all her money and possessions. Desperate for work, and even more desperate to not go crawling back to Kacey, she found work at the local saloon. First she started with sweeping floors and washing sheets, soon she moved to cooking meals and serving drinks. She could see that the real money was brought in by the women who served an item that could not be ordered at the bar, those who entertained the men in every way they desired. Laura chose to take up this job, not in desperation or from coercion but because she saw an opportunity and wanted to take it. In a way it made her feel good, all the attention and compliments flowing in. But she never truly settled into this life, her mind was always open to new adventures.
About two years back Kacey happened in to the saloon where Laura was employed. The sisters nearly didn't even recognize each other at first but soon were talking and reconnecting. She decided to leave her job to travel with Kacey and her gang. Since then her skills at living on the run have developed. The various members have taught her many things, but she still has much to learn.
Weaknesses~ Emotional, doesn't always think things through. Isn't particularly strong or good at strategizing.
Strengths~ A decent shot, people person, fast on her feet.

Pic/Description~ Standing 5'6" with a fit but womanly figure Laura isn't someone you'd be intimidated by just from looking at. Her wavy long hair is a dusty blonde color and is usually loosely held back, strands falling freely to frame her face. She has big blue-gray eyes that are full of feeling. It's easy to tell that she cares about her appearance, she always strives to look well but doesn't allow it to take up all her time and attention.
