About the GM:
OK so I am a nice guy, open minded and all that. I am very flexible too but due to how things have gone in the past I will be a little harder then normal. I am a university student so if I am gone it is because of that and there is no need to panic. I generally can post everyday but with the last semester happening I will make it every 3-4 days and I hope you can keep up with that. I do give people the benefit of the doubt and will give people some time to post but due to past experiences if I get no word of warning I will have to drop you or if you can't keep up you will have to go as well. This may seem harsh but I really want to keep something going, I tend to disappear when things full apart. The last RP I tried to run was something called Defense Force 5, I have also ran another X-Men RP on here as well among a few other things were I leave for a long period of time when things fall apart due to stupid reasons. If you want to leave that is OK and so say but don't give me the your busy and I find out you are RPing elsewhere a day later (New RP's, current ones are OK). If you have any question then shoot me a PM.
The Idea:
The idea presented is a part of my Marvel Dark Descent plot but this time I am focusing on the X-Men then the other heroes. I did this with the Avengers and it worked out very well, let’s see where the X-Men version goes.
During the age of intolerance and discrimination most of mankind have taken steps in order to make their world a mutant free world. One man has taken to the stage to defend all mutants and that man is Charles Xavier and on the other end there is Magneto and his Brotherhood who claim the world belongs to mutant kind. The U-Men, Friends of Humanity, the Purifiers and other groups make this dream seem impossible, making Magneto’s dream more real then ever, but Professor X continues this path as he sees a bright path. The public distrust of mutant kind will sway between distrust and trust with hard work the X-Men do to make Professor X’s dream come true. It seems these days many anti-mutant officials will take any step to keep the mutants in check. One man being Creed, the leader of the Friends of Humanity who was voted in last May due to the destruction of the city caused by a mutant civil war.
Something is coming, something that will turn mutants against each other like the civil war that happened not too long ago. One man will turn the tide of human against mutants to mutants against mutants via a virus that is rumoured to send mutants psychotic though what else it did was unknown if the said virus was true. When the population is low enough the humans will finish them all, of course not all humans are anti-mutant. The X-Men will have to deal with these problems in everyday life as both the X-Men and as everyday normal people. Will they just bare it for Professor X’s dream or will they destroy what he worked so hard for? Will the X-Men survive what is coming or will they fall just like the rest of them? Can they save mutant kind before it is too late or are mutants ready for extinction? Finally how far will human groups and mutant groups such as the Brotherhood go?

This RP will have custom characters that will be mixed with many of the original X-Men within the 616 universe yet we will be following a different timeline where many of the events have not happened, may not happen or even changed. I am sure you know what omega powers are; Iceman and the Phoenix are good examples of this. I want 5-6 people at most. I will throw arcs in as well, I don't have any planned yet but I think I can get some going. I will also be looking for a Co-GM to but I need to see how things go first before I pick one if I pick one.
