Mighty Morphin Power Rangers-Redux

Ethan: "How can we be sure that this Rita won't go after our families?"

Jennifer: "How do we actually use these?"

Kiara : "As for you mister bubblehead, don't you atleast own us an explanation about what kind of enemy we are fighting? How strong she truelly is and why you are taking actions now, instead of before she could control these cities?! For in my eyes, yu are just a failure, just as this entire team will become, if they are already playing captain without even proving themselves."

Questions came in and he would answer then, since one question was asked more then the other Zordon stated with that. This prompted Alpha 5 to grab several boxes before Zordon began to speak. For now he grabbed one and would hand the others out after one showed how it was done though of course Zordon would need to explain how it was done. Alpha 5 began to move around the room.

Zordon: "The power coins you all hold is only one part on how you will become the power ranger. The other item you will need is the morpher which you will put the power coin into. These morphers will change you into your costumes, initiating an instantaneous transformation or metamorphosis. The phase it’s Morphin' Time! is needed for it to work, which then you call out your respective dinosaurs. Candice will you please try doing this with the morpher Aplha is handing you."

Candice nodded for a moment, she seemed a little unsure but soon gave it a go. With the morpher in her hand she fitted it with the power coin and soon gave the others a quick look. The one who was going to be the pink ranger stood straight and held the morpher in front of her pointing towards the others in the room. She took a deep breath first before uttering the words Zordon had said to make the transformation work.

Candice: "It’s Morphin' Time! ..... Pterodactyl!"

As quickly as she said she began to change, a bright pink flash happened and before she knew it she stood dressed as the pink ranger. The morpher and power coin now around her waist. What was she wearing was the first thing that came to mind, was this spandex or something? She soon looked up to the others to see what was on their faces at this time.

Zordon: "Now Ethan I will answer your question. Rita will go after your family in an attempt to stop you but as the power rangers you should be able to over come her cheap tricks and as a ranger you should be equipped to deal with anything she throws at you. You are most strong when together."

Zordon: "Kiara we were taking action but something had happened to the original rangers, we had them in our sights but Rita had killed them before we could get them here. So here you six are. Rita's influence is stronger then usual and so we could not just pull the six people we needed right away. Our original command center was attacked and destroyed upon the fall of our planned original power rangers. I can see you are angry Kiara but you must listen. Rita controls 33% of the world at this time, the control of the other 66% is unknown. What we do know is at this time her dark world is slowly expanding and soon she will have the whole world. Her power has grown, from what the scanners showed must be something to do with the state of the world, this alt world. She has enough power to remove all life on this planet, everyone you knew or did know would be gone and you would be gone if she is left unchecked and unchallenged. I fear she is not the only one out there and so we need the power rangers to correct this problem. The viewing globe will show you what she can do."

The globe soon showed a picture, Rita, her cronies and many monsters were wrecking Angel Grove. They were giants and so leveling the city was easy. Rita was shown to be doing the most damage at this time and for a brief moment the new rangers could see one of many tricks Rita had pulled. The death of the rangers was shown, she had disguised herself as a student, befriended them and when they were not aware, slayed them before the command center could bring them to Zordon and Alpha 5.

Rita: "The rangers are no more, evil shall rule Angel Grove, evil shall rule this planet. [Evil Laugh]"

Zordon: "You were not chosen because of the skills you have, you were chosen as you have the heart, strength and willpower to do this. Each and everyone one of you have kindest in your hearts, some show it more than others but it is there."

I can actually see Zordon saying this, it a bit cheesy and over over the top, but also somewhat touching and inspiring and it points out that are more important things then skill and strength (not that skill and strength aren't important)

I said it because it sounds like something he would say, of course my memory of the Power Rangers is rather hazy at the moment. I was not too sure at the time of me posting it though. Also the Power Rangers is cheesy lol.

Zomphobia [Interest Check]

"There is no rest for the dead"

No one knew how it started, what people knew was it was real and that it was something they could not beat but survive. People thought the country side was the safest place to go but they were wrong. It seemed during the winter time the infected would move towards country for unexplained reasons. The summer however had them roam the streets of cities.

“I have been alone for the last two months now. I don’t fight, I only run. It was on the very first day of this event that changed my life; seeing my parents get eaten in graphic detail would destroy most. Flesh was torn from the neck; the blood escaped the body like a man was searching for freedom after being stuck in a prison cell for 20+ years. The eyes and face area being torn, chewed upon and even pulled apart like pulled chicken. The lungs stretched, ripped and eaten without a second thought. Limbs leaving the body as if they were never really attached to you, the blood was the paint and the world was the canvas.

Fear filled the eyes of the two who soon became breathless, the two having to experience and watch as their one family watches their demise. They dead and would not have to suffer no more, but yet they don’t stop there; they reanimate and join the ever growing army. I call them the reanimated, sounds less morbid. I tell this to you and now I tell you why I run. I am scared, not like everyone else. Mine is one step further, I have what one would call a phobia and so I called it zomphobia. The thing is I can’t do this myself and so I am on the lookout for a group of people in this sad time.”

OK so my character that is female won’t touch or do anything if a zombie is involved, the phobia she has is very crippling but other than that is rather useful. She will be one of four/five characters who will band together and survive together, well most of them. Due to the idea one or two will die and be replaced which will occur a lot. The main idea is for character development and for my character to get over this phobia, if she can. I will have a male character as well though that will mean another female and male will be in it as well.
