Name:
Ardee Karchak (actual)

Thom Adonis (Assumed)

Age: 32

Gender: Female, but currently disguised as a Male, as she's well aware of the power the opposite sex holds in the lands outside Kalesia

Faction/Allegiance: Kalesian Empress(May she live forever)

Relic Description: Ardee's relic is a brown, short, quill pen, that does two things. One, it can permanently alter someone or something's looks and physical traits. The looks is fairly obvious. She dips her quill pen in someone and her own blood, and draws them a new body, clothing, and face. The traits she has to list to the side. For simple things such as 'strong' or 'fast', it only requires the first dip and she's done. For things like 'super humanly fast' or 'unnaturally strong' she requires more blood, a pint to be exact. For something as extravagant as 'can cast fire balls' requires more blood, at least 1 quart. The more powerful and extravagant, the more quarts required. It's easy for her to go back to normal, she just needs to smear the image in her note book with a bit of her blood and it will undo all the changes done. This can happen accidentally, if her drawing is destroyed or accidentally ruined. Having your body structure changed is painful. Very much so.

For changing things a simple as looks it only takes a dash of blood from each, and she can change hair and eye color, face structure, etc. For changing someone's strength, speed, height, or weight it requires a double the amount of blood required for simple change looks.

Supernatural changes, such as magic, Super strength, or unnatural speed are only 24 hours long, and require a 2:1 ratio for people other than herself.

Two, it can create simple 2D drawings that are given life and can report back to Ardee. Useful for intelligence gathering that would be too dangerous for her. The complexity of the drawing determines the quality of the intel. A simple flying eye can only give images. A small man can write out or speak the information. This too is made from her blood.

Appearance:

That's Ardee. Currently she looks nothing like that.

She looks like this:

Flaws:
Combat - Ardee has basic spear training from her time in the camp, so she can hold off your average street thug, but anyone more skilled has her beat. This includes hand to hand combat.
Sensitive - Ardee is very, touchy about the subject of rape, and her own self esteem. Sometimes violently so.
Doesn't like to be touched - Ardee tries to avoid people touching her at all costs.
Dislikes Murder - Ardee, despite all her training, prefers to avoid killing people, if left with any other choice.

Skills:
Artist - Even before she gained her relic, Ardee was a skilled artist, be it changing how she looks, or simple painting.
Actor - Ardee can fake just about anything, given the right tools.
Fast - Ardee is very quick, both in the traditional sense of running, and the not so traditional sense of with a spear.
Rough survival skills- She can cook her own meal, create simple snares, skin, and knows enough about plants to not eat the ones she's even unsure of. It won't be pretty, but she could eek out an existence in the wilderness.

Biography:
Ardee has never known her parents. Her mother died in childbirth, and her father was a foreigner who raped her mother then left. She grew up in an orphanage, feeling something was wrong with her despite repeated assurances that there was nothing wrong with her. How did she know she was a child of rape? Children are cruel. One of them had overheard the mother's explanation to the priestesses who ran the orphanage. The rumor was quickly made known and eventually, a few years later, thrown in her face. She was a child of rape, a result of the sick mockery of worship. At best she was unclean at worst she was a living insult to the Goddess, and thus, the Empress(May she live forever). At the age of 12 she decided the simplest thing to do would be to redeem herself by serving, and dying for, the Empress(May she live forever) in the military. Hopefully she could gain a redemption in death. During her time there, she met a young man named Roan. The two became friends, despite it being obvious they were going into different factions of the Kalesian military. Ardee's talents lay more in espionage and deceit, while Roan's was more suited for the mauler cavalry. They managed to stay in touch when they went their separate ways, primarily through letters, and meeting face to face when they could. It was an imperfect system, but one that worked nonetheless.

At that same military academy, Ardee met Jana and became fast friends with her as well. While she was close to Roan, Jana made the idea of dying in the service of the Emperor less appealing, pushing Ardee into the decision to join the espionage section of the military. Ardee didn't tell that to her, of course. She hadn't told either of her friends the real reason for joining the military, and wouldn't tell Jana until much later into their relationship. After years of friendship and an attraction everyone but they could see, they finally became lovers and soon after married. They made the marriage work as well as possible, trying to keep as close together as was reasonable, Ardee later using her status as Evoker to make this easier. Then everything changed when Jana got her relic.

After the initial panic and she was assured Jana wasn't killed by her Relic, Ardee started fervently scouring any and all archives and texts for a way to reverse the curse. She found none, but refused to give in, finding the perfect excuse later to search other lands for a cure.

Ardee actually discovered her Relic by complete accident(years before Jana's own relic find). She was researching in one of the libraries the Imperial Intelligence had and picked up a quill pen to write down notes from a book she was reading. . It was a peculiar sensation, to feel it bonding to her,and the silence was only broken by her heartfelt 'well, damn.' She couldn't do anything but report the event to her superiors, and be moved to another faction of the Empress's(may she live forever) military. As luck would have it, her Relic only increased her talents in the Imperial Intelligence force. Still, she spent some time learning how to control her new powers, and during that time, word of Roan Adonis's betrayal reached her. It was a hurtful, enraging blow. Upon learning of his betrayal to the Empress(may she live forever) and his subsequent escape, she begged her superiors the right to track him down with Jana and demand answers. Much to her relief, she was given that right. And much to her joy, they could now search the archives of other nations.

Personality/motivation:
Ardee is usually reserved and dignified, keeping her true emotions a secret from everyone but her closest friends. When you can put on emotions like most people put on clothes, you tend to stop showing your true emotions for everyone to see. She's mistrusting of new people, thinking that they might have an agenda that they aren't showing. However once she's sure you're not going to betray her, and you're a friend, she's fiercely protective. Ardee never had many friends and she treasures the few she does. Right now however, her confusion and anger aren't faked. Roan was one of the most loyal people she knew. And to hear of his betrayal was a blow she was not prepared for. She's more concerned with finding a way to help Jana than she is with actually bringing him in right now, but when they find them, she'll get answers. One way or another.

Relations:
She had a strong friendship with Roan Adonis before word of his betrayal reached her.

Wife of Jana Karchak
As long as it doesn't hit the kids, Eli doesn't care. XD
Eli surprise as the Inquisitor’s fist crashed into his chest, and he was sent stumbling backwards. He tripped over a chair tossed in the fight. He hit the ground hard, biting his tongue, the familiar metallic tang of blood filling his mouth. Not even clones should have that strength...what in the name of Aer is going on? He thought, picking himself up and gathering himself for another charge at the Inquisitor when smoke filled the room. Eli flailed around, trying to strike the voice of the Inquisitor but failing. Finally he stumbled towards the outside glancing wildly about for a few moments. “Where’s the son of a bitch…” He muttered to his active spirits. All of them, including Shreckt, didn’t see him. “Oh good. He can clone himself, has an ice spirit, and can disappear whenever he likes. I hate Inquisitors.” With that, he sent back everyone but Shreckt. Guard the girl. I don’t think this Walkins is done with her. Right. The Kuasagi spirit stood protectively next to the girl and Adonai. For a moment Eli allowed himself a breather, the people outside of the bar ignoring his own appearance. Eli being injured and bleeding wasn’t an uncommon sight in the Guild, his tendency for dangerous missions well known.

And then Helen marched up to him getting aggressively into personal space in a way few would dare to do without their hands on a weapon. Eli gave a smile, his teeth stained with blood. Then his leg finally gave in to all of the stress it had been put under. Once again, he hit the ground. He almost let out a curse, but bit it back at the last second, glancing at the girl. Anyone who had spent any amount of time in Eli’s presence would have instantly recognized that as odd, to say the least. By that time the Rider had arrived and given a brief diagnosis. Eli was in too much pain to get suspicious and hostile at the Rider. “He’s right. I was just recently in the middle of Varisie territory, taking something they really didn’t want me to take. For the record,” Eli said turning his gaze to Kuro. “I actually become a better shot when I drink, and I wasn’t distracted. Kal doesn’t talk and Shreckt has been in my head so long she’s practically my voice. “ Eli nodded towards his only two visible spirits. “Not powerful enough to have more than those two. As for the kid, in my defense,”

Eli gritted his teeth as he tried to make himself as comfortable as possible on the ground with all his injuries, “I didn’t let him take anything. He was supposed to be hiding, keeping himself and his sister safe. Then he leapt over the bar and grabbed the gun before I could react. After that, what was I supposed to do? Grab at the kid while he was holding a loaded weapon, with clearly no training on how to fire it and obviously having never killed someone before? That would have been even more stupid than jumping in front of the gun myself. And that I don’t think you would have been able to fix. As it is, patch me up temporarily so we can go somewhere safe with the children. We need to find out what exactly just happened, and the Inquisition never gives up on targets that easily.”
Oh, the ears? I knew I forgot to do something here(aside from that post I'm currently working on FORGIVE ME). The pointed ears aren't that special. Sure, they're uncommon, but they're not rare. They're essentially the blue eyes of ears. Uncommon and neat, but not as unusual as Green, Silver, or Violet eyes(Yes. There are eyes, actually colored violet). So while people might glance at her for a few moments going 'hmm that's unusual' they won't gawk and go 'FREEEEEEAAAAK! SUMMON THE INQUISITION! TO ARMS! TO ARMS!'
*Brushes dust off of himself*

Well. It's been awhile since I've been in here, but anyways, two things.

One, How are all the collabs going? Any delays, near finishes, etc?

Second, everyone in the mage hunt mission I'm going to be sending a group collab to you shortly. Because beating up insane mages that are bound and angry is always fun in groups! Honestly, I think Leith is going to be the only one not interested in hurting the insane necromancer. Maybe Coco and Grey too?
MageHunters

Everyone seemed to be in agreement. Go after the mages who they were supposed to orignally kill. Althalus couldn't help a small chuckle at Coco's response and insistence that she was fine. Well, Alaira's tenacity seems to be rubbing off...not sure if that's a good thing or not. He watched Mar carefully, waiting for any sign that she was going to lose control like she did with the Yarosmerian diplomat. He only spoke when it seemed she was back to being her usual self. "So, currently our plan is to wake up the Necromancer with unnatural levels of magical power and hope he isn't feeling murderous. Alright. You all can do the talking and I'll kill him if he decides to try killing one of you rather than being reasonable." He avoided Mar's eyes when he said this. She already knew he was more than capable of doing this and living with himself afterwards. What was one more corpse, a little more blood on his hands? There was already a mountain behind him and his hands were already stained red.

"So, what are we going to do if he isn't cooperative and I kill him? Unless someone sees something I don't, the best we can do in that situation is walk into the forest very, very carefully. We could have had a cooperative informant on where the mages were but someone, who was supposed to be the most diplomatic of us on this trip, threatened to 'personally drive their boot through his head like it was an over-ripe watermelon' and then screamed at them to run."

Althalus pointedly looked at Grey, before continuing. "Regardless, shall we wake our friendly little psychopath up now?" he picked up his crossbow and loaded it. Just in case.
I didn't die. I promise. I was busy chasing down cows when a thunderstorm hit a few days ago and it fried my internet modem. I just got my new one today.

Shreckt only had time to spit out a curse in Kusagi. Then she was flying backwards and briefly had no idea where the earth was. Then she slammed into the back of the bar, a few feet away from the repeater using Watkins. She was reacquainted with intense pain, and after regaining her breath back, likely taught Ryza a few new curse words in Kusagi. Then she realized where she was. A short distance away from one of the men who had attacked the entire bar. Or, one of the clones of the same man. Shreckt lunged towards the Watkins with the repeater, slicing horizontally at the clone's kneecap. All she had wanted to do was talk to a fellow Kusagi. But no, the damned Rider had to interfere first, then the Inquisitor had to show up, now everything was a damned mess. Luckily there was something she could take her frustration out on right here. By chopping him up to tiny little bits and pieces.

Eli, on the other hand, was holstering his revolver. Bullets weren't working, and it was clearly time to stab something. Just before everything went to even more hell, Eli summoned lightning in his hand. Then the boy got shot and the girl was being dragged away. By the hair. Screaming. Eli doesn't normally feel rage. Contempt, sure. Irritation, all the time. Disgust, both for himself and others, most of the time as well. But rage, the kind that almost destroyed reason, had been killed with the rest of his team in the Wetlands. But now, seeing what Watkins was doing to the girl, it was back. It was almost enough for him to ignore Ragnarok's chuckle. Eli didn't shout. He didn't scream, and he didn't utter a challenge. He just leapt over the counter, tearing open both his shoulder and leg wounds in the process and chased after the Walkins with the girl. When he was within range he attempted to tackle the Watkins down. By shoving his sword through the pistol wielding clone's chest and bearing him to the ground, where Eli would attempt to cut his opponents head off.
The Mage Hunters
The diplomat had left quickly after Grey spouting a few more insults, curses and general dire prophecies as he left. The group used the final peace and quiet to regroup, rest, and recover. The Guide, surprisingly, was still alive and wandered around, looking for anything of use in the remnants of the village. Althalus used the time to patch up Mar while she was still unconscious and decidedly not trying to kill anyone. He was done long before she awoke, and wisely decided not to talk about what happened. Not yet at least. The guide returned from his wanderings with some food the villagers had stored that was unspoiled. Meats, vegetables, fruits, etc. With the help of the guide, Althalus started a small fire. "If whoever we hunt is in the woods watching, they can come out and get us. I for one, think we can all benefit from something cooked." When they had all relatively gathered, and those who wanted something to eat had taken it, Althalus broached the subject of what exactly to do. "So, we all know that the mages we're hunting are in the woods. And we all know we can't just go back to the College and say 'well, we captured one mage, and insulted a diplomat, but decided that going after the others in the woods would be too much of a problem.'. Not only would that ruin the College's relationship with whoever we're doing this for, the College would just send another group of mages. One they feel could properly deal with the situation. So. Does anyone have any ideas?"
