Anyways, depends. If I'm pressed for time, or I just can't think of what my character will do, or if I'm just plain burned out, I take a couple of days. If I know what my character will do, I've got a full battery for writing, and I have plenty of time, I usually do it in one sitting.

Desols aren't beyond hiring a cloak and dagger. As long as they are professional about it and don't try to screw them over or the C&D will be hunted down and lobotimize via Psychomancy by Desol Senior. Though i was thinking because of the House Emblem that Haklo wears. He wears it pretty much all his waking moment.

He'll recognize the seal, if not the person. Again, this comes down to how often he was hired by Haklo or how often Haklo ventured into the cesspool of a town that is Port Slaughter.

Armor is indeed a pain to wear, though I imagine Ssarak will want to at least remain armed from here on out. The demonmany demonstration really did not help to build trust with him.

Althlaus might be to. Though that's old habits...never trust the people you're dealing with when you're an Assassin. :p

Well, how is he reacting to the demonstrations? Disdain at the simplicity? Impatience at waiting for his own to be shown? Awe at the power wielded? Perhaps he's thinking how he can use each of them in Port Slaughter.

Not to mention, as far as he knows, the 'staff' being slaughtered all around him aren't demons. They're elves, Humans, dwarves, etc. How is he reacting to this? Horror? Or is he just shrugging it off, used such things?

Then, there was Althalus flying. Humor? Irritation at the stupidity of some people wearing armor? Anything metal on him would have been drawn to the roof. That includes his plate, glass, and utensils. Irritation at that? Trying to keep the stuff down?
