Current Trying to get back into the swing of things (for a 2nd time!)

Bio

Hi there I'm Rultaos, or simply Rult as some of my friends call me. I first got into RP'ing on two different sites back when I was in High School. The forums of the games Minecraft and Spiral Knights. Both had game-related RP's, as well as off-topic ones regarding fantasy and sci-fi. This was around 3-4 years ago. I wasn't really good at it back then, but I met a lot of great people and feel like I really improved since then.

For any of you who are curious, this was one of my biggest RP undertakings before I got into this site (My username also comes from this as a tribute to it!). It's not really a very well-written roleplay (or a very well-managed one for that matter). But it really meant a lot to me because of how far it went, how long it survived, and how it inspired my fellow players there. It always fills me with a sense of nostalgia whenever I glance at it in my bookmarks...

I got into RPGuild back when it was still using the old server (the one that got taken down after Mahz got behind on his pay and the providers ended their service without warning). I was pretty bummed when this happened because I was already actively participating in a number of roleplays, and I could only stay in contact with a select few guildmates on the Facebook group. Eventually, the long wait was over, and the site was given renewed life after a few bumps in the road that guildmaster Mahz faced in his attempts to resurrect this place. It was a good day for many including myself when this site slowly started getting more and more features.

2014 was my second year in college and was a very stressful time for me. Mostly concerning academics, with a few occasional problems regarding friends and fellow students alike. Because of this, I had to suddenly drop out of roleplaying for a while in order to have the time to get my real life back in order.

Now, I've returned to the site, and am hoping to get back into the groove of roleplaying and make more great friends and have even greater adventures through whatever huge universe your brilliant minds can think of! If you wanna invite me to play, or even just have a friendly chat about anything, send a message my way and I'll reply as soon as I can =)

For those of you who are wondering, my roleplay interests include: Sci-Fi, Military, sometimes Fantasy, a Fandom one if I'm familiar with the source material, heck I'd be willing to dabble in an Apocalypse setting as well. I'm also willing to try new things as well if it seems fascinating enough. So hit me up with an idea any time and I'd be happy to share my thoughts with you.

Well, I feel like I've used up enough for your time. Thanks for caring enough to read all this, and I hope you enjoy your roleplay adventures as much as I have in the past and the present ^_^

Reading is for losers.
Roleplaying is for nerds.
Liliz just kills things.

If that's also Liliz's philosophy, then she is REALLY not going to get along with Adrian
Got a post up. It's not that long, but it should give you guys something to work with :).

@Rabid and Deserted: What's the update between you two? I'd like to know if Deserted is still going to be with us, and what compromise the two of you reached.

Also Reap, is your sig from "A Monster in Paris"? I liked that movie :D
Without receiving any questions from his team, Karadar moved past the lobby and into a hallway. It was a long hallway with multiple different doors on either side. Towards the end, the path split into two ways. "This hallway is connected to every area in the Guild. It's something the original architects were very proud of. They called it: 'Excalibur's Spine'." Karadar explained as he walked through. Personally, he wasn't sure why he needed to tell them that. All he knew was that as a guide, he had to cover every bit of the Guild specified by his superiors.

To their left was a large pair of wooden double-doors. Karadar opened it and revealed the room beyond.

It was a large area filled with star-shaped tables and wooden chairs. In a corner was a bar with kegs of alcoholic drinks, and in another was a counter that opened into a kitchen area. "This is the Mess Hall. All the members of Excalibur Guild eat here together, to help strengthen the bond of unity that we- WHAT IN KYR'S NAME ARE YOU DOING?!" Karadar said, dashing to the bar with kegs, and leaving his squad behind.

Standing around one of the barrels was Virgo Squad. Their leader, Blood Knight Daina Dvargen (Also known as: "Dominator Daina") and her squad were laughing as they held full glasses. Noticing Karadar, Daina turned towards him. "Good morning, Kar! Care for a drink?" She asked. Karadar ignored her question. "Daina, can you explain why you and your new squad are drinking from that barrel?" He asked. Daina shrugged. "Because we're thirsty?" She replied. "That barrel holds specially brewed drinks reserved for special occasions. The Guild master said so himself! Besides, the drinks here are paid with the people's taxes. Seeing as your squad has yet to accomplish anything for the Guild, they are not entitled to consume from that yet. Nor should they be allowed to spill it all over the floor" Karadar lectured. "And I had just volunteered to clean it yesterday..." He thought.

Daina sighed. "You really need to loosen up, pretty boy. Just think of it as a debt my squad will pay when the time comes. Now if you haven't got anything else to say, can you and your little friends get lost?" She said, in a predatory tone. Karadar was adamant, however. "This is your final warning, Daina. If you or your squad continue drinking from that barrel. I will be forced to report you!" He said. This just made Daina laugh. "Hahaha. Alright, alright. Don't do anything rash, Kar." She said, faking fear. Putting away their drinks, Virgo Squad left the area.

Karadar was still fuming in anger. That was the 3rd time this week that Daina had crossed the line. Granted, she didn't break any official rules. Instead she just found loopholes and exploited them, much to the dismay of Karadar who always seemed to be the one to catch her. He wondered if Daina was doing it on purpose to get on his nerves. Turning around, Karadar saw that his squad had caught up to him. His anger changed to anxiety as he began worrying if his squad would think less of him for failing to uphold the laws of the Guild. "I suppose we should move on as well. I don't believe this room should be explained further..." Karadar said stiffly as he led his squad back to the door.
Do you have room for one more? :). I haven't played any of the Metal Gear games, but I've heard good things about it (Except for Raiden's game...). I'm also watching someone do a playthrough of the Metal Gear Solid games. Having a military RP using that level of technology sounds very interesting.
I have a busy day ahead of me (I'm attending a ball tonight). I may be able to post later, but I make no promises. If not, I'll post tomorrow.

...Secondly, OP, I thought that most people would understand the basic functions of the guild since it is a rather prestigious organization?...

The basic functions are a given, but the methods through which they do their jobs aren't exactly common knowledge :). Hence, the need for a rundown. Like Karadar said, most visitors are only permitted in the lobby area, so they wouldn't be aware of the rest of the rooms in the Guild. Take for example a delivery company, not everyone is aware of how Fedex organizes and ships deliveries. Especially since there is no internet in this universe XD.

It's been a while since I've played 'em, but I think you can get the latest version of accent core off the PSN~

Thanks, but I don't actually own a PS3 (or a PS4 for that matter) unfortunately :(. The last one I owned was a PS2 (Way back in the days of the first 3 Sly Cooper's and Ratchet and Clank's). And that has long since been broken. I would like to be able to play the latest one (Guilty Gear Xrd) if I could though. But I doubt it, given my current financial status.

Heaven or Hell lets rock!

Haha, I see what you did there. I actually have Guilty Gear X2 on my PC :D
So humans are basically purists who hate everything non-human (but are tolerant of each other). Seems clear enough. I guess it would be pretty bad for the humans if colored people joined the Legion of the Free .

Anyway, just send me lines you want me to voice out through PM. And I'll reply to you with the links :)
You know me...Still waiting around :)
