Posted just now, glad to join the RP, hope that more people join this so that the sides aren't just 3-4 people each, lol (even though it'd still probably be fun that way)

Legends of Light and Dark

Ryan walked through the city that housed those of the light side. He stepped slowly through the town, letting the sun warm him from above, and the wind push him towards wherever it wished. He was simply wandering the town when he saw someone sitting next to a building, his clothing tattered and his face obviously hadn't been cleaned recently. He walked past the man, holding out his hand to count his coins and letting a few fall through his fingers that he pretended not to notice. He gave a slight smile as if he were happy with the amount of money he had as he put it back where it came from, continuing to walk forward. I wonder when the next battle with the dark will be... He thought to himself, continuing on his undetermined path. As he walked, he noticed the prince and princess of the light speaking to each other, likely about the war, or something else that would particularly concern the royal blood going through their veins. He continued walking, until he could only see them from the corner of his eye, then stopped. He turned his head towards them, thinking for a moment before walking over. "Would you two of the royal blood be willing to tell me when to expect more bloodshed?"

Personality: Duty-bound, Generous, Quiet... He's the kind of person that would "accidentally" leave food where the hungry would see it, and simply walk away while they find it... The kind of person, that if he had the choice, would let himself be killed before another, but wouldn't require them to know he did so
Race(Dark or Light) : Light
Weapon: A steel longsword (double-bladed, looks like a broadsword, but is intended for slashes, instead of stabs)
Family Power: While there is some form of light nearby (enough to actually see the features of his enemy's face), he can summon a set of armor with little to no weight, but similar protection to that of a normal suit of armor (if this power is denied, I will gladly think of something else to use)

Btw, if anyone would prefer Ryan didn't use his ultimate ability to reduce the number of hollows (like, if anyone thinks I took from the fun others are having, or if anyone thinks I took from their enjoyment at ALL), don't hesitate to say something, I'd be more than willing to change it so the battle is more amusing to everyone

Ryan nodded to Yu's explanation of the situation. "Thank you, guess we should force the enemy to stop hiding behind this distraction, then..." He put his hands together as if he were meditating, his shikai beginning to glow. "Bankai..." As his shikai disappeared, turning himself into the bankai, he pulled his arm back. aiming himself in the direction of as many hollows as he could without getting anyone from the squads in the blast. "Air Strike..." He sent out his energy, attempting to ensure that this fight wouldn't keep any of them from stopping whatever plan was actually happening. The attack would probably hit a few, but if he was lucky, it might take out a good number of the enemies.

Okay, I'm sorry btw, I've been unable to keep up with the RP since I've had less time to be online every day, we can have group PMs now though, so perhaps those in the same squad as each other should set up group PMs to alert each other to what's going on?
