Squad 3's Mission
The boy seemed to ignore Hikari's entire speech, simply continuing to put pressure on Hikari's block until simply jumping back. He glared at them for a moment before throwing the sword, making it spin as it was thrown. It flew towards Chie, who had been making a suggestion about how to capture him. Whether it hit or not, he disappeared, reappearing behind where she had been and catching the sword. If she was still there, he would swing it towards her, if not, he would charge towards the group, swinging the sword at the closest one he could find. (Guys, he's not a normal boy, his spiritual energy is slowly rising, at this point, you'll probably notice it's actually just a bit lower than Hikari's)

Ryan stood there, watching Shiro as he prepared for his next attack. Finally serious, it seems... He stood in a stance that would let him either move to the side or jump quickly, waiting for the attack. Shiro swung down his sword, both hands on the hilt and as much focused energy as he could manage, at least from what it seemed. Ryan smirked as he shunpo'd to the side, avoiding the large strike. "Well done... You've done well enough to get your reward... I assume you want to use your normal zanpakuto to fight me at my full strength?" He sheathed his zanpakuto as he stood there, waiting for Shiro's response. This will be a pretty grievous misuse of my bankai, but it'll be worth it if he learns to keep that control during most battles...

John had been moving towards Kurisa, using the few unique abilities his zanpakuto allowed him as best he could, but it wasn't even close to enough to face a captain. He knew he was going to lose, but he thought it would last longer than this. Suddenly, the captain pointed his finger at him, creating six pillar-like shapes of light that flew to his stomach/waste area. He was completely immobilized due to this, causing some small anger to build up inside him, but he was released, being told that he was now part of squad six. He nodded as he was released and told this, reverting his shikai back to the sealed state and bowing. "Thank you for the chance to be a part of this squad." After he was dismissed, he went to the main barracks, searching for other members of the squad.

Ryan raised an eyebrow at her comment. He knew she disliked him for some reason, but he wasn't sure why. "So long as the fewest number of people die in this attack as can be helped, I'm okay with it..." He looked at her, crossing his arms, "Though if you think their current comrades aren't good enough, then why not give your position up to someone better suited?" He frowned, "Why is it that you act like I'm the worst creature in the world, anyway? Did I ever do something to offend you?"

The boy just missed the attack. He stood there as Hikari shunpo'd behind him, not turning around. Miyume seemed to get angry, and he simply smirked, knowing this would be to his advantage. She rushed in, but he suddenly disappeared, reappearing slightly to the right, the sword being held in an almost entirely different method as he swung it straight at Miyume's stomach.

Ryan simply put up his guard, blocking the spiritual energy wave. If he had controlled that better than he did, I would have needed to dodge... Good thing we're doing this training... "Focus... That blade will work the same way as those spiritual energy waves will... The more you control your energy, the more deadly it will be." He shunpo'd next to him, swinging the hilt of his zanpakuto at Shiro.

John shunpo'd to the side, seeing the byakurai go past the general area he would have been. It seemed off from where he was exactly, like the captain was simply playing with him. He knew that's probably what he was doing, but in his shikai, it somewhat enraged him to think this. He sprinted directly at Kurisa, then curved his run slightly so that he would go right past him if he continued. He then shunpo'd forward a short distance to increase his speed, dropping onto his back as he went to slide towards him. He twisted his torso and pushed off the ground so that he would fly forward with his claws swinging in each direction.

I apologize if I was holding anyone up over the weekend, every time I leave I put it in my sig, and I have made it clear that I disappear every two weeks over the weekend, if you'd prefer not to deal with it, I understand, simply move your character on over the weekend and we can PM what happens in whatever event I was in with you, it's not my fault that I can't respond during certain weekends

Julia nodded, then glanced to him as they walked. "Guess the plans settled... Now... What is your obsession with my chest?" She smirked, "Maybe you're just as perverted as I am, and just want to hide it...?" The smirk turned into a devilish grin, "I could use someone on the inside to help with me getting into those showers... And I'd of course be willing to share..." She nodded to herself as she spoke, expecting him to agree.

John growled as his attack failed to penetrate the captain's defenses. The captain seemed to do a hado that knocked him away, hurting him a bit, but not much. He snarled as he flew back, landing on his back. A test of my ability... Not of if I can win... He stood, then shunpo'd next to Kurisa, swinging one of his arms at him before suddenly shunpo'ing above him and pointed his finger directly at wherever he saw Kurisa at this point. He snarled out "Hado 4, Byakurai!" As he shot the lightning-like energy towards the captain.

Yes, a normal sword, that doesn't mean it's weak compared to a zanpakuto to the point that a zanpakuto shatters it upon contact, it's not a zanpakuto means that it's lacking special properties such as a zanpakuto spirit, it'll still be able to do combat with your weapon, though
