Box 297 Yuga and Amon
It was becoming obvious to Yuga that the fox girl Amon had no real interest in the videos. Instead she started to pace around with worry in her voice. She was getting more and more uncomfortable about their situation which Yuga couldn't quite understand. She could understand Amon's worry about being trapped, but they were not. The teachers simply have them sealed within and are holding them until further orders could be given. Granted, it would have been nice to have access to more amenities, but surely there was a limit to how much magic could create out of thin air. But regardless of their reasons Amon was still getting jittery at the fact she was being trapped and Yuga figured that it was time to bring this charade to a close. "Than you should destroy me." Yuga began to remove various small gadgets from herself, such as her phone and some of her Memory Banks. The only ones she kept was the blank one and that was after she copied the general information off of her other two Memory banks so that she wasn't completely useless. She even put her belongings into a small folding box, neatly sealing it. Once she had packed away her belongings she walked up to Amon. "This room is constructed with magic forces that likely take into account whatever destructive powers we could have possessed. If I am correct in thinking that the teachers wanted us to battle each other, than they will only release us when one stands as the victor. At the very least, the near physical death of one of their students would force them to intervene and release us... And even if they do not, as I've said, this body is worth less than your life. I cannot self-terminate, but destroy me and they will have no more reason to keep you here." Yuga than spread her arms out wide to give Amon a clear angel to attack. Yuga's current body wasn't made for combat but it is very durable, so it was going to take Amon a few tries to actually damage her. Hopefully Amon has some sort of weapon to use, otherwise they're going to have to be very create on how Yuga was suppose to inadvertently destroy herself.
Box 297 Yuga and Amon
The fox girl came over to Yuga as she loaded up a video for them to watch. Yuga found the videos... Humorous. She loaded other similar videos as well in attempt to keep the fox girl's attention but she seemed more interested in Yuga's previous statement about their deathmath. Yuga didn't think much of it: Perhaps it's what the school wants, maybe it is not. They had no specific answers and as far as Yuga knows all they're doing here is waiting for the real challenge. Maybe the witch will drop in monsters which Yuga and this other girl would have to work together to defeat. Or maybe they're suppose to get to know each other's strengths and weaknesses before being forced into gladiatorial combat against the other presumed pairs of students. Yuga simply did not know enough to make any judgement. She didn't dwell on it but she did notice the fox girl's interest in Yuga. "I will not harm you. I have not been given the orders to do you harm, but I do not know what my purpose right here, right now, is either. As for myself, I have been sent here to the Academy as it was more economical to work alongside others in combating the threat of the Black Gale." Yuga said in responds to the fox girl's first comment about finishing her off during her disadvantage as well how Yuga was able to attend the academy. She also loaded up a new video. This one always gave her mixed feelings, but good ones. As the video went on Yuga continued to speak. "It is true that I had spare bodies before to send into the Gale, however the cost of their creation and upkeep were too much for the rate at which they were destroyed. Under normal circumstances the destruction of this body would mean very little to me, however currently it is the only one which I can inhabit. Should it be destroyed, I will be forced into limbo until a new body can be provided, which may take as long as a year if my creators lack the resources. Another video was loaded up at the end of the last one. Simply a music video, and a very old one at that. At least as old as modern standards went, what with it's rather bad speaker feedback. "But if you are concerned about my life, you needn't worry. The cost of this body is approximately 7.7 hundred thousand American dollars. The life of a fellow student such as yourself is much greater." Yuga said with a certain nonchalant air. Like it was as obvious as the sun is bright. Yuga loaded another video on her phone for her and the fox girl to watch. Yuga was quiet as the video was shown before she looked at the girl. "My apologies. Are there any videos in particular you would like to see, miss...?" Yuga realized that she hasn't gotten the girl's name either.
I'm here.
Box 297 Yuga and Amon
Yuga looked at her card, and as soon as the witch arrived Yuga had a feeling she knew what was going to happen. Sure enough Yuga was engulfed in a flash of light and by the time the light died down she was inside a white room. It was one of those boxes Yuga saw the witch create a while ago. If Yuga had to guess they wanted the students to fight each other here. It was isolated, so no friendly fire. Large open space too, to allow students to zone while at the same time made more stealthy fighters unable to sneak on their opponent unless they had invisibility. It certainly wasn't a party otherwise there should be snacks and such around. Yuga had wished it was a party, she could go for some fried chicken. Alas, it seemed like Ier wanted his students to duke it out. Yuga looked at her opponent. From just looking at her Yuga knew she was some sort of foc spirit, maybe a Kistune or Gumiho or something similar. She had a glowing ball which Yuga guessed was magic. She seemed to have been talking to herself by the time Yuga was paying attention to her, saying something about eating an engineer and asking for the door. Yuga shook her head. "I believe that the teachers and staff of the academy intends to have us battle here. If that is the case, the only way to leave is for one of us to die." Perhaps a bit extreme but Yuga wouldn't put it pass the school to make their students kill one another so soon. Yuga didn't seem to be attacking however. Instead she just looked around the room again as she finally managed to pick up on the school's wifi signals. Once she managed to log in she turned towards the other person. "I am Yuga Abubu." Reaching into a compartment on her leg that passed for a "pocket", Yuga took out what looked like a smart phone. "Would you like to watch some videos with me, to pass the time?"
Ssarak & Meirin
After a few moments of attempted healing from Meirin, it quickly became clear that the robed man was not going to awaken any time soon, but he was also still quite alive. In any case, as Meirin was searching through his belongings, Ssarak finally felt like he could breathe somewhat easy. Their enemies, whether they deserved it or not, were dead, incapacitated, or gone. Everyone was alive, and apart from perhaps Alaira, no one seemed to be seriously wounded. Though Ssarak was curious to see if there was anything noteworthy among the man's belongings, it was not what he was immediately concerned with. "Finally, it is over. Are you alright, Meirin? How bad is your wound?" He asked, pointing to the spot where the captain's blade had cut into her. "It's shallow. All I need is a clean bandage and it'll be fine." Meirin looked at the cut on her arm as she could slowly feel the string coming back. She didn't admit it but it hurts. Not so bad that she'd need to lay down or anything, but she would really like to get it patched up. But her current attire was too dirty and the robed man's was too wet. She'd get a clean cloth when she returns to the wagon. For now Meirin just gathered up all the things she found on the robed man, bound his hands, and put a bag over his head. She doubt this could stop him from using magic if he woke up but short of killing him Meirin didn't know how to make sure he couldn't keep using his Psychomancy. "What should we do with him Ssarak? He... I don't feel entirely comfortable leaving him here alive." Executing others wasn't something that Meirin liked to do, but she had done it before. Killing them when they would only live to cause more trouble, or would die a slow death, was something that Meirin had an unfortuante history of doing. She usually just leaves them concussed and let nature handle it, but since she healed the robed man's injuries he may be able to continue his treachery. Or worse, go after them for vengence. Ssarak stared at the man for a few moments in silence, his mind torn on what to do. Of all the guards, he was certainly the greatest threat, but at the same time, it had not been him that initially provoked violence. That fault ultimately laid with Alaira. He did not feel he could justify killing him when he might not have attacked otherwise. "I...do not know. He was a threat, and he did seem eager to fight, but Alaira was the one that started all of this, not him. We cannot take him with us, but...would it really be right to kill him? I fear there is no easy solution." Ssarak sighed, once more staring at the unconscious human. There were a few more moments of silence before Ssarak turned his head to Meirin. "You are sure you will be alright? The air is rather cool, and you are soaked." He commented with concern that seemed perhaps a bit excessive. Squeezing some of the moisture from her clothing Meirin just smiled at Ssarak. "Thank you for the concern, but I used to live in Djarkel, and worked in worse conditions. This certainly isn't comfortable, but I'll live. Anyways... We should make haste. The sooner we leave the better." Meirin casted one more wary glance at the robed man. Surely if they left him like this he'll become prey for whatever wild beast roams this part of Djarkel. Or perhaps ends up killed by a mad man, or eaten by demons. Meirin thought about these things to keep her hands clean in the event the robed man dies, but she found it even easier if she simply ignored it and moved on. Meirin was also carefully trying to dry out the journal. It was nearl soaked to the core and she figured that she could read it to figure out the man's motivation for trying to exort them. Aside from the usual greedy and corruption that plagues Djarkel's guardsmen. But as she looked into it she found one page that she could read. It mentioned ghouls, demons, and a lack of security on the roads. There were a few names on the page but none of them were familiar to Meirin. The only thing that she could gleam from the page was that they should get ready to fight some ghouls as well as demons. Meirin did also find a map however, and though she was initally confused about it she recognized some markings and could get a general idea of where the paths led. However she was unfamiliar with some of the routes, and would need a map in order to make sense of most of it.
Fifth time I had to bring new meat to this post. Too many ghouls, too many demons, not enough men. I have enough on my hands as it is. Lisette still hasn't allowed me the forces I need to deal with those Scarlet Traveler dolts and the Red Lions are in no mood for negotiations. I need to convince her that this petty operation isn't worth the crowns or blood I put into this. I swear, just one good haul and I'll look to the Sharptooth Legion. At least they can spare the time to see me face-to-face.
Journal Entry
Ssarak too looked over the journal and map as Meirin was examining them, but to have any real understanding of them would require local knowledge he did not have. The mention of demons did catch his eye, as demons were the entire reason they had been sent on this mission, but the organizations he mentioned were unfamiliar to him. Still, they could possiby find someone who could make sense of what they found. Once they had finished examining the documents, Ssarak reached down and picked up his hammer. "I suppose you are right, we should see if the others are in good enough condition to move. Perhaps we should just leave him here with the other guard that I believe Darius incapacitated. We could leave them with a way to free themselves then...let fate decide. They might survive, though...I cannot say if that is a good thing. These guards might be corrupt, they could cause more harm, but...we cannot know that. And I will not bring myself to their level. It might have been a mistake for me to ask you to save him, but I thank you for doing it.It means quite a lot to me. We should leave him with a note telling what we did for him." "No, no, the less we leave behind the better. The fact that he'll wake up alive is all the message he'll need from us. Not only that but if they're as corrupt as I really, really hope they're not, they might simply accuse us of being bandits for attacking them. We'll have to move fast since we're not exactly a bland group either." But just as Meirin was getting ready to leave she saw someone stirring from the ground. Meriin cursed under her breath as she realized it was the guard captain from before. She knew he wasn't dead but she didn't know he'd come to his senses so soon. Meirin didn't want to have to kill him, but if he was going to fight Meirin was going to have to put him down. "Ssarak, the captain is waking up. We need to deal with him somehow. Maybe we could convince him that this was just a mistake... At the very least we could try to knock him out again so he won't give chase." Meirin hated herself for saying that, but it was better to be safe than sorry. It would be bad enough that they'll be dealing with demons and ghouls on the road, she doesn't want to be chased around by a Baron's army on top of that. Ssarak nodded as he looked down at the blank expresson on the unconscious man's face. He hoped to perhaps give the man a sense of how close his actions brought him to death, but Meirin was probably right. The more they could distance themselves from this whole incident, the better. He was about to give another comment when Meirin noticed the guard captain starting to stir once more. Immediately, Ssarak gripped his hammer tightly and brought himself into a combat-ready stance. "Let us hurry and take charge of the situation before Alaira does. If we are lucky, there will be no more need for killing." As quickly as he could, Ssarak rushed away from the riverbank and back to the caravan, stopping at a safe distance from the captain. Being that he was a difficult individual to miss, he likely attracted the attention of the others in his sprint. The captain was obviously disoriented and appeared weak, but even so, Ssarak was ready for a fight if it became necessary. "Hold, do not reach for a weapon, do not make any sudden moves. This need not devolve into violence once more; we can all get on with our lives with no more bloodshed." Ssarak said, his voice firm and authoritative in tone. He was highly alert for any sign of aggrestion from the guard captain, but at the same time, he was also being careful to look out for Alaira. He was tired of her rash actions putting herself and everyone around her in danger. This time, unless the captain attacked first, he was going to make sure she did not so much as get close to him. Meirin didn't need to read Ssarak's mind to know that Ssarak wasn't concerned about the captain so much as Alaira. She was a factor in this mess, and Meirin wasn't going to let her end it as badly as she started it. While it looked like Meirin was just flanking the guard with Ssarak Meirin was also deliberately putting herself between the captain and Alaira, should she try to charge on over. Even with her back towards the wagon Meirin was ready for anything, be it the captain trying to fight them or Alaira coming in for a coup de grace.
Sorry for vanishing on you guys, stuff happened. Konami hasn't been on for a while though, should I still write a post waiting for her or could I partner up with someone else for now?
Yuga's arrival to the academy wasn't worth noting. Her trip through the Black Gale was equally uninteresting as it was oddly peaceful, and the scenery appeared to be the same as the last time she had gone through it back in her days at the academy. She wasn't sure if this was because the Black Gale was more static than Yuga had remembered or something else entirely. She still recorded everything she saw in the event her creators pick up on something she didn't. Upon landing at the Academy grounds Yuga bowed towards her Griffon and thanked it for it's services. And announcement was made shortly after her arrival for all students to head towards the main hall. Yuga could already see a crowd of students make their way towards the hall so Yuga just followed them. Her feet made a soft crunching sound in the snow, leaving behind hand-shaped prints in the immaculate white. Yuga made records of each of the students she saw in the event that she would see more of them and took record of their appearance, belongings, demeanor, and even voice if she could hear and isolate it from the rabble. Everyone looks sufficiently prepared for the school, but would they have the skills to back up their equipment? Eventually Yuga found her way into the main hall and found herself a place to sit. She had to manipulate her auxiliary arms in such a way that she wouldn't end up accidentally hitting someone else, but they were a bit tedious to maneuver. Yuga sat patiently and waited for the opening speech. When Ier arrived Yuga already knew that this wasn't going to be a long speech. Ier was never really the type to care about professionalism, as Yuga figured. She guessed it was due to being politically untouchable; the position of Head Master was important to both Lucis and Earth and neither side could would react well if their Head Master was fired. It also made things no easier since Ier was practically immortal and liked to flaunt it. Yuga's handlers disliked Ier and made it known to her that they wanted him replaced, but only if they could find someone better to take his position. She wasn't sure why they told her this, though she assumed that at some point she'd have a hand in the change in power. After Ier's speech he told everyone to look under their seat for a number. Yuga reached down and pulled out a slip of paper with the number 297. She assumed that someone somewhere in this crowd had another slip of paper with her number. Yuga was curios as to what the faculty wanted them to do if they found their person with their number. A simple meet-and-greet perhaps? Would this determine their partners for the year? Yuga couldn't say for certain. So Yuga started to see if she could pick up on the school's WiFi signal.
Six AM, sharp. First routine: Activate the main body. It would need a few minutes to full boot up which in the mean time Yuga would use to check what her tasks for today was. She got a list from the company: First she would need to run a diagnostic on her body as well as her systems. She already did one last week, but this was protocol. Secondly she'd need to head down to the main office to pick up her Memory Banks. One was general knowledge, another was a combat Memory Bank for her main body, and lastly a blank Memory Bank. Yuga could guess from the blank Memory Bank that they wanted her to observe everything she can about the academy. Fair enough she supposed, she would like to learn as well. Once her body was ready Yuga loaded herself through the Main Terminal and into her lithe and robotic frame. The first place Yuga headed to was the machine shop. It was a factory setting where hundreds of robotic bodies were being made, but unlike Yuga they were "Cheap" service androids, not nearly as sophisticated as her body was. They wouldn't even be getting an AI. Yuga saw some of her siblings along the way and greeted them silently by sending them her list of tasks for the day, while she obtained theirs. Similar to her own but they were heading to different parts of the shop for different needs. Yuga wondered why she was only given three tasks for today, but she figured that after she reported in she would be given her other tasks. Once Yuga arrived at the machine shop a familiar face came up to her. "'Ello there lassy, ready for your check up?" Yuga nodded her head at the mechanic. "I am ready." Stepping onto a platform Yuga waited patiently as mechanical arms came out of the ground. The first thing they did was remove Yuga's auxiliary limbs from her back and dismantled them on a separate table. Than another arm came out and held Yuga aloft by the base of her neck as her legs were removed and also taken apart. Next was her arms, than her torso, leaving Yuga as a severed head floating by a robotic hand. And even that didn't last too long before it was placed on a table with the mechanic from before. "Just going to shut this off right quick Yuga, you won't even feel a thing." The life in Yuga's eyes died down as she returned to the cyberspace she called home. Here Yuga would have her system diagnosis. Although she lacked the physical organs, she could almost year the scientist crunching through her code to find errors. At the same time she heard, or saw, someone speaking to her. This was a different sort of test: This was the Personality test were they made sure Yuga could reliably handle a situation on her own, without relying on someone else to give her directions. "Good morning Yuga. Please answer the following questions..." This diagnosis lasted about two hours, ending exactly at eight o'clock AM. By the time she was back into her body Yuga looked new and squeaky. "Oh? What is this?" Yuga felt around on the back of her head and moved her fingers over three slots. The mechanic there smiled at her while wiping his nose with his greasy glove. It defeated the purpose of trying to keep his nose clean. "Added extra ports for yer Memory Banks Yuga! Before you've only been able to access one at a time, but this time we've managed to fit two more on ya. This way you don't have to keep hybridizing memory banks and just use three to their full potential. Now that being said, if you aren't going to use one of them we recommend cover them up with a port plug. You know how it is, stick anything else in there and well... Things could get messy." Yuga nodded her head stoically as she looked at the ports through a mirror. "I understand." With that out of the way Yuga headed on over to her main office. It was very far away from the Machine Shop where she just was, and much quieter. Yuga actually had to wait for a bus to pick her up. The driver was a crusty black man who gave Yuga a polite greeting before waiting a few more minutes for more passengers. Two more robots joined, neither of them related to Yuga but they sat next to her anyways. Eventually some humans came onto the bus chatting about finally getting their sleep. Morning workers no doubt, been here since one AM. The only noise came from them as the bus moved across a wide open concrete plain and into another building. There was a sign next to a set of double doors that read out, in English, "ARISAWA TECHNOLOGIES". There was a lot of bird poop on it. The robots sitting next to Yuga stood up first and headed strait to the sign, their task apparently being to clean it. Yuga bid them a silent farewell as she entered the main building to find the main office. Following a familiar path Yuga stood before a large imposing door. It was not a normal door made of wood with a door handle or such silliness, but a titanium steel alloy gate that could only be opened with a key card scan and a voice prompt. Neither which Yuga had or needed because someone opened the door form the other side. "Just on time Yuga Abubu." Sitting at a large wooden desk was a sharply dressed woman, her brown hair tied up in a bun and her face adorn with a pair of rimless glasses. She took out a small metal box which Yuga took. Than Yuga picked up a pen just as the women took out a slip of paper. Yuga signed it with her signature, taking the effort to put two little dors above the "u" in her first name. It made it look like a smiley face. Once that was finished Yuga did not leave just yet. She had obtained her Memory Banks now, what was her next tasks? She asked the receptionist. "Excuse me... Was there anything else I was tasked to do today?" The lady looked away at her computer for a moment before taking out her phone and scanning it for any notes. She spotted something and started working on her computer a bit and in a few seconds she turned to Yuga. "Yes, there's a Griffon waiting for you at the front entrance. Today's the big day, isn't it Yuga? Your second year at the Academy! Aren't you excited?" Excitement. That was the emotion of feeling a great amount of enthusiasm and eagerness about something. Was Yuga excited? "Very. It would be good to go back." A little white lie. Yuga would not regret going back to the Academy, but she would miss the Company. Communications with them at the Academy was limited to deliveries and the occasional email due to blocked frequencies from the Black Gale. And not only that but Yuga was actually a bit worried about going to the Academy. She had did fairly well for herself the first year thanks to superior firepower, but she had left her combat chassis at the Academy. Granted, it was being well maintained, but she felt that this year she could go for a upgrade. She disliked how she lacked melee options and know that striking her opponents with the barrel of her guns were a good way to damage them severely. She made these thoughts known to the company of course, but she also knew that they had yet to implement any plans into upgrading her Combat Chassis. She supposed it wouldn't matter. She would be working with a team now, who ought to be able to make up for what she lacks. Hopefully. Yuga met the griffon at the front entrance, a large majestic beast from Lucis. Before mounting she opened the metal box she had taken from the receptionist and inserted the Memory Banks into her ports. She could feel the information rush into her head and it was sensational. Never before has she ever had access to more than one memory bank at a time. She could feel her body move on it's own in reaction to various attacks, as well as a bunch of random trivia and factoids about everything from mathematics to Western Literature Arts and Psychology to Instrumental Music. A lot of generally niche information that Yuga may have no use for, but better safe than sorry. Once she had gotten over the initial euphoria of the Memory Banks Yuga wordlessly mounted the Griffon and headed through the Black Gale. "I wonder if anything has changed since I last went through here."
Hello Luna.
Full Name Yuga Abubu Nick Name Eighteen (Refers to the fact she's the eighteen Yugu) Gender Generally refereed to as female. Age 5 years old Year Second Year Birthday Was first made on May Seventieth. Astrological Sign Gemini Species Sapient AI - Yuga isn't a robot per say, but sentient soft ware. Specifically she's an attempt to create an artificial intelligence capable of adapting and replicating the personality and knowledge of others. Yuga is a newer model with an more easily adaptable memory and better grasp of personality and independence. Class Tank - Yuga prefers forms with heavy armor and heavy firepower. Be it artillery pieces or giant mechs. Generally being tough to kill but also able to draw as much focus on her as she can. Weapon Yuga's weapons depend on what sort of body she inhabits, and she can only inhabit machines that have a compatible Operating System specifically made for her. That being said she can easily hack that OS into most machines if there is some way for her to connect directly into the terminal. Most earth-made computerized terminals she can attach a sort of "bug" if she has access it's hard drive directly using a device built into her current body (See the Appearance) though she can also upload her OS through physical port. If the device is capable of receiving Wifi or other similar wireless data she can also attempt to download her OS that way, though it does require permission from the terminal (So she basically uploads herself akin to Malware). Yuga's current body (See the appearance) is incredibly durable and agile. Her strength is also well beyond human but not much higher than that. This body's only unique defensive weapon is creating reflective barriers can deflect kinetic objects back to their point of trajectory. It's mostly used for large, low velocity objects, such as falling rocks and such. It can be used to deflect smaller anti-personnel caliber bullets up to .357, but it strains the barriers. Also useless against lasers. It's a two-way barrier as well: Nothing goes in or out. She can also make her body glow at various light levels, from faint ambient light to like that of a flash bang. Yuga has a more combat focused chassis with much higher durability and weapons, but notable lacks hands for finer dexterity. Her right arm consist of a GAU-8/A Avenger 30mm rotary cannon with various attachments and accessories added to make the recoil more manageable. Her left arm is a variant of the Milkor MGL that is essentially "Double Barrel" though it is more accurately over-and-under. Yuga's shoulders also have twin linked Nebula VM20 plasma burst anti-armor blasters. It has a shorter range than the GAU-8 but but the searing heat from the plasma bolts makes it more reliable in disintegrating armor and melting flesh. It can also be sent to "Less-than-Lethal" on the occasions that Yuga must not kill her targets or be wary of friendly fire. World Earth Biography Yuga Abubu was the Eighteen Yugu AI created by a heartbroken scientist. He wanted to try to create an AI that could replicate the personality and memories of his dead daughter, but of course at some point during the process the scientist went insane and died. His research was claimed by a shadowy government organization as well as Yuga and her siblings. Yuga was one of the few AI's who developed enough to be considered "Sentient". She was quickly able to pick up basic school educational knowledge and essentially passed highschool when she was only three years old. And because she was the only one of her siblings to pass the personality test she was also allowed to join the Academy of the Arcane Artes to test her combat capabilities. Originally she was simply going to be sent into the Black Gale on her own, however the price of her combat bodies and the unknown threats within the Black Gale made it too risky to send her alone, and even their scouting machines failed to come back after sorties. They also can't seem to access their machines once they past the Black Gale, and attempts to set up bases within the Black Gale were also equally ill-advisable. They couldn't get any information off of their robots and scouts once they left, and rarely do they ever come back. The only ones who did never went far in the first place. Thus, it was decided to be more practical for Yuga to attend the Academy of Arcane Artes to learn exactly what threats were within the Black Gale so she could send the data back to her company for further analysis, which in turn would help her combat these threats. (Basically she's at the Academy because it was cheaper to have her work with them than risk her multimillion dollar bodies for exploration since the other scouts they sent failed to come back and the ones that did don't have anything new. They also couldn't access any data they picked up once they pasted the Black Gale, so there was no safe way to transfer the data back.) Personality Yuga is a pretty passive person. You could almost say she's boring. She doesn't really react to insults or compliments. Of course she'd be more willing to hang out with people who don't make fun of her. Will find ways to occupy herself if no one has anything for her to do. Partner [This can either be assigned to you or you can figure out who you want to partner with.] Fear(s)/Weakness(es)/Limit(s) Yuga's current body is made for physical durability, but aside from that it can be shutdown with EMP's and such. It's also not suited for combat so it lacks any specific weapons to defend herself with. Yuga is actually afraid of the dark and will always try to make or be around some sort of light source. If for some reason she gets stuck in a dark area she will freak out. Yuga isn't sure why she's so afraid of the dark, though she thinks it might have to do with her original programming as the scientist who made her in the likeness of her daughter probably had a phobia of the dark. Yuga unfortunately picked that up, and can't seem to be rid of it. Yuga as an AI is also defenseless to others manipulating her programming, if they can reach her terminal or gain access directly to whatever body she's in. While not so much an issue when she's in her body (Because she can fight back), her Main Terminal lacks self-defense. While it is safeguarded by various firewalls and such (It even has a self-destruct as a last resort) anyone competent in AI programming or has enough time to hack into her system could very well change who she is the next time she goes to link herself up to her Main Terminal. And she wouldn't know until she uploads herself, and by than it'll be too late. Skills/Abilities/Traits Yugu can edit and upload her own knowledge so she can preform jobs depending on what sort of knowledge she uploads into her mind. Specifically what she does is alter her "Memory Banks" to whatever new Memory Bank she has with her. Memory Banks are pretty much different algorithms she can download into herself so she can use whatever skills are put onto those algorithms. It's sort of like having a mental step-by-step guide that Yuga can instinctively do. She can alter and make hybrids of these Memory Banks, but there's a limit to how much data her Memory Banks can hold. More sophisticated and detailed memory banks typically use up a lot of data, not including new data she'd add simply from learning. Her creators would normally send her different memory banks but she can make some herself simply by observing and learning about others, then copying what she learned into blank Memory Banks if she has them uploaded into her body. These Memory Banks come in the form of physical chips she puts into the back of her head. Yuga is also technically immortal. She isn't reliant on her physical body at all: should it be destroyed she simply moves to her Main Terminal which essential serves as her Spawn Point. The Main Terminal is essentially a super computer/miniature robotic factory where Yuga stores her other bodies, including replacement bodies of her current form (But not her combat body as it's way too expansive to make more than one of if they aren't going to see regular use). At the Main Terminal Yuga can store her memories and send them back to the Company for record keeping, as well as holding a copy of Yuga's AI Code. These codes are essentially save files like those you'd have in a video game, and like a video game she has to come back regularly and store her AI Code if she doesn't want to forget anything should she end up destroyed before than. The Main Terminal also requires Yuga to check in once a day unless otherwise specified, however it can only go for a week before it creates a new Yuga. While this Yuga has access to the most recent AI Code, it would be made specifically for the task of finding out the whereabouts of the previous Yuga. It cannot serve any other purpose until it finds a sufficient answer. If it finds the original Yuga alive it will attempt to bring her back or at least share her data to report back to the Main Terminal. If the Yuga is destroyed it would also report that and salvage whatever data is left available. If the new Yuga cannot find any remains of the original Yuga it will return to the Main Terminal and report back to the Company. Within a week or so the Company would send back a new AI Code of Yuga using her most recent memories, thus allowing her to come back just herself, albeit voided of any knowledge she had since her last time leaving the Main Terminal. Theme Song Terminate Other Yuga keeps in contact with her other siblings and expects some of them to arrive to the Academy within the year. She's also the only one of her siblings to still refers to herself as Yuga Abubu. She also needs to eat, albeit not as much as a normal human would. She's much better at digesting and processing biomass so she doesn't necessarily have to "Eat" food. She can identify what she eats to process it's qualities and determine if it's safe to be consumed by others using this knowledge. She prefers meat however, specifically chicken, especially when it's fried.
