Yuga was getting torn apart. She wondered if anyone was going to save her. She had already accepted her destruction, but still... Was no one going to stop Amon? Was this what the school wanted? Yuga silently allowed herself to get thrashed about as the boxes grew smaller. She didn't know what was happening, but she guessed that they were taking too long. Maybe they were suppose to have killed one another by now. Oh well. Yuga thought. It was nice meeting Amon.

And than they were back in the auditorium. Yuga looked around confused. Everyone else seemed just as confused as she was. Amon wasn't too far away, but she seemed to have hurt herself trying to break Yuga. Since she still had her legs, barely, Yuga went over to Amon. "If you are hurt, we should go to the infirmary. I know where it is at. Come with me, Amon." Yuga offered the fox girl her hand and would lead her to the Infirmary if she accepted it.

Name: Nanuni Locked-N-Loaded (She chose that name herself)

Race: Gnome

Age: 166

Job: School Teacher (Basic Math and Reading)

Class: Rogue "Alchemist" (She prefers to be known as an Alchemist)

Short History: Nanuni had adventuring in her blood and was born into a family of thrill seekers. Her mother and father were never formally married in conventional or gnomish culture, but they loved her dearly and taught her their ways. She spent much of her childhood and young life (Since most gnomes aren't considered adults till they're at least 40 or so, young life means anywhere between 10-30) with either her mother of father. She picked up her father's skill with a crossbow and learned how to be a quick shooter by the time she could afford her own. Her mother was a roguish type but from her Nanuni found her interest in Alchemy. While she never really took courses in Alchemy until much later into her life, long after Nanuni decided to adventure on her own, her time with her mother instilled the desire within her. Nanuni adventured for a coupled odd years, occasionally settling down on a whim to open a business or somesuch. She currently is doing that in the present, settling down in The Grey Crossing as a break from the high-flying adventures she had been going on during the past twenty years.

Quirks: Nanuni certainly likes to play up her childish appearance with a cutesy voice and attitude. She's very protective of the other kids however, and while she won't hesitate to put them back in line she won't tolerate others being mean to them. Nanuni can be very whimsical which can sometimes be a bit chaotic: Sometimes she might offer charity because the mood strikes her or she might play a prank on you because she'd find it hilarious. Usually it's not too serious unless she really doesn't like you. Than you're in for a world of hurt.

Skills: Nanuni is really good at taking care of children, and is likely one of the best teachers The Grey Crossing as seen given that the kids are actually learning from her. Her alchemist knowledge has also helped her make medicine and supplies for the village when she's needed, from making a pill for your stomach ache of machine oil for your clockwork contraption. Her knowledge with magic is pretty decent too, sort of something she picked up while increasing her alchemy skill. She's pretty good about figuring people out thanks to her time with the children, skittish and sneaky little tykes. And of course Nanuni is still quick to the draw; she could shoot the wings off a fly fifty feet away behind her if she had some cause to harm a fly. She rarely takes her crossbow out these days, but she keeps it clean and ready for whatever.

Possessions: One of the most iconic items on Nanuni is her heavy repeating crossbow. She had customized it extensively to even be able to lob her alchemical concoction a greater distance than she could throw, and has an assortment of cranks and gadgets to give her an edge in any situation. Along with a wide variety of different crossbow bolts there's very little that Nanuni isn't prepared for. Other possession include her teacher's bag where she has her books for the school and where she usually stores her lunch. She also keeps a stuffed toy rock, a gift from mother. It's magically enchanted to produce light or darkness when it's squeezed, but only when the person doing the squeezing wants it to.

Hobbies: Nanuni can often be found playing with the same kids she teaches. When she isn't teaching kids she's likely drinking the local tavern into poverty as she has quite an appetite for ale. She can also be seen tinkering with her crossbow at her home, usually on rainy days since she likes being outside. Collects insects as well.
I posted in the IC.

Also for everyone involved in the Caravan Escort mission, me and Elite have thought of a plan to hopefully advance that plot and make things enjoyable. If possible I'd like it if we could all at some point get on mibbit to talk about this, but if that doesn't work we can use a PM.
Uicle & Myrn Atisha & Krogal Vorinclex

Uicle glared, or at least, he felt like he did, at Khan as Rathel saved the elf from the vines. "This, you see, is why you tell more than just yourself about the attack plants in your office." He spoke to Khan, watching careful as they obviously irritated elf had the parasites removed from her. Before Uicle could lay into Khan about everything that had just happened, Lucilia was adding him in standing and taking him away with a final comment. "Oh, we're going to discuss more than what just happened. Khan has a lot to tell us about, don't you Khan?" This was said with a false cheerfulness, before he turned to the Elf. "Now that you're not in danger of being eaten alive by plant parasites from the inside out, lets take you to the infirmary before anything else happens. You can come with us too Orc, just so you can be a bit more prepared before whatever Tyrael has planned for you two." Uicle gestured for the two of them to follow and walked away, before speaking again. "My name is Uicle, as you've doubtlessly guessed by now. Two questions, before I answer any of yours. One, what would your names be and two, what are you at the College to study?"

The pain that searred through Myrn was undescribable, and she was suppose to be the woman to make tales about these sorts of things. About half way through her body simply went numb, possibly a defense mechanism, and by the time she came to the pale woman from before was applying some sort of ointment to her wounds. Myrn heard her say words but she couldn't catch any of them. Than suddenly the pale women just stood up and walked back to the Head Master. "This has been a hellish day..."

Despite all the pain and suffering she went through just recently, today was not only eventful but rather productive. She found her rescurer from before, got to meet the headmaster and some colorful characters, and she got to put her blade to work. Life wasn't fun without it's dangers, though she liked to be a bit more prepared for trouble than to let it blindside her. Soon enough Myrn was coherant enough to hear the hollow suit of armor Uicle ask her what he name and what she was here to study. This might cause a bit of complications. "Ah... Well the thing is, I don't have magic. Of that I'm certain. Oh, but first, names. I am Myrn Vaan'Atisha. Now, despite not having magic, I do wish to stay here. I owe it to him to be by his side." Myrn motioned towards Krogal.

The orc could only sit and watch, feeling useless as others came and went. He was powerless to help his elvish friend. As the demon pulled the worms out of the girls body he resisted the urge to hug it knowing full well the stories the orcs told about them. "They'll drag you into their plane and twist you into something different." The elders used to tell him, they apparently really like young orcs for a reason often telling them they would come after him if he misbehaved in anyway. The pale lady, came and went giving her bit of advice before moving on.

Another entered and offered to take them away and Korgal followed, sticking close to the elf. He had saved her once he wasn't going to lose her and he felt as if it was his fault, if she didn't follow him to this place she wouldn't of been hurt. He came here to escape having to hurt people, to learn to harness whatever it was that was living inside him so he didn't have to see anybody in pain anymore. But he failed, and he was barely listening when the man in armor introduced himself as Uicle. "I am Korgal Vorinclex of the Frostfall clan." He then proceeded to hug the giant suit of armor.

Uicle glanced over at Myrn. "Interesting. Typically if a nonmage comes to the College they want a job, they want us to do something for them, or their stopping because they need a safe place to rest. I'm going to assume he saved your life or saved you from a terrible fate, and leave it at that. But while you're here, I doubt you're going to just follow mr...."Uicle trailed off as the Orc stepped forward. He stopped and did a double check at his name. "Vorincl-" He was silenced as soon as the orc enveloped him in a hug, careful to keep his staff away from the Orc. Well. This wasn't what he expected at all. Least of all from an Orc. "Erm. Does he do this often?" He asked the elf, muffled by the hug still. "Korgal. I'm going to guess you like hugs. But if you hug me any longer something ba-" Crack. "Gods dammit." Something, likely something vital, in Uicle's armor had broken. What exactly had broken remained would be seen as soon as the orc let go of Uicle.

Myrn couldn't help just laugh at how affectionate Krogal was. It was a delightful change of pace from the usual orcs she meant. The were, at best, aloof and arrogant, or barbaric monsters. It was a racists preception, sure, but her experience with most orcs were not kind. Good to know that Krogal was an exception.

The three people walked towards the Infirmary. Uicle made a comment, or at least was about to, about how Myrn couldn't possibly just follow Krogal around. "On the contrary! Since I do not have any magic, I think this would give me plenty of time to be of service for Krogal. As I've said before, I owe it to him for saving my life. I find it only appropiate that I serve for the rest of his until he no longer wants my company. Of course I don't intend to simply live off Krogal's earnings. If possible I could apply for some work here to pay any fees or services I make use of."

Myrn was quiet for a moment as she tried to remember something one of the figures from before said. Now that she thought about it, she didn't know who the demon or the pale woman was. "I beleive the demon said something about a task for me and Krogal? I'm... Not entirely certain what he would possibly want with us. But who was he anyways? And the pale woman? I need to thank her for the medicine she applied. Oh, and of course the demon who removed the vines from my body. Painful as it was I'm thankful that he cured me of them."

Uicle waited a moment to see if Korgal would let him go. When he was not released, he sighed, and then spoke too Myrn. "While this is true, you would be of very little use to him in his magic classes, I'm afraid. Also, we don't really pay College students here, or take money from them. The College is self-sufficient, and anything the students need they merely ask for. In return of course, we use them to help keep diplomatic relations up. Missions and all that. I assume you know how to use that blade of yours, so I'm sure we can make use of you some how. The demon who wanted to slice you up was Tyrael. That's about as friendly as he gets, you should know. The pale woman was the vampire Lucilia. Nice girl, if you can stand being around a manipulative person. The demon was Khan's, his name Rathel, I believe. The nicest out of all of us in the College. Fair warning, the mission Tyrael is sending you will probably be a retrieval one and involve danger. Keep your blade ready." There was another crack and Uicle cursed under his breath. Something about Aarem.

"Korgal, for the love of all the Gods let me go."

Myrn visibly tensed when Uicle mentioned that Lucilia was a vampire. Her hand twitched as she wanted to grab her sword but she knew this was a foolish thing to do. She almost didn't want to beleive it, but now it was starting to make sense. Lucilia was only being nice to her so she could suck Myrn's blood later. Uicle himself said that she was manipulative. Lucilia was someone that Myrn had to be careful around. And more importantly, keep Krogal away from. She didn't know Krogal very well but he seemed like the type of person who'd fall for the vampire's charms.

"I see. Well, thank you for that information Uicle."

Seeing Uicle in distress with Krogal Myrn decided to help him out a bit. She leaned against the wall and was slouched, putting her hand over one of the areas where she was wounded before. "Krogal... Could you help me stand? I'm still a bit weak from before."

Korgal let the giant armored man go as soon as the elf needed him. He was there helping her, but instead of just being something to lean on he picked the elf up and carried her in his arms. Fitting considering the fact that no long ago he had held her in this same way from a pack of night-walkers. He shivered at the fact that the nice pale lady was one of those things they only caused trouble in the frozen nights. But then he had only heard stories of them attacking orcs and hadn't actually seen them do it. The more he thought on this the more he realized most of his knowledge came from stories pased onto him by the elders and shamans of his tribe, he knew nothing of this big wide world much less anything about it.

He must of not been paying attention, seeing as he narrowly avoided slamming into a small and frail human. "Sorry." He muttered, both to the student and to Myrn, he looked down at the elf and smiled a warm smile that seemed out of place for an orc. "I accecpt your life debt and our honor is now shared." Korgal said, and went quiet.

As soon as the Orc let Uicle go, his arm not holding the staff fell off. "Well. All things considered, it could have been wor-" Then his upper chest crumpled inwards, and one of his legs gave out. He hit the ground with a loud clang and several curses. "Very funny." He grumbled as he fixed his leg. He didn't even bother with his chest, picking himself up off the ground.

With Myrn riding in Krogal's arms and Uicle pulling himself together the trio went to the infirmary. It didn't seem very busy at the moment and once inside Myrn let herself down from Krogal. "Oh wow! This place looks much more... Cleaner than I had thought." Myrn was somewhat expecting a sort of nightmarish dungeon where chimeras were being made, or shady drugs were being pumped into people's bodies, while the whole "heal the infirm" part of the infirmary was just a fortunate side effect of their experiments. Though Myrn didn't rule out the possibility of laboratories. "So who do we see now?" Myrn was actually feeling rather chipper, previous injuries aside. She would have simply skipped over this whole infirmary trip if she didn't have a sliver of doubt that a vine was still stuck in her body. As brutal as it's removal, there was always a chance for things to take a turn for the worse.

"Well what did you expect? A dark cesspit?" Uicle chided, limping into the medbay as best he was able. If I ever get my hands on whatever gave Aarem his creativity I'm going to slap them. Terrible. Just lots of rocks. Shaking himself from his own thoughts, he continued talking to the two new students. "Right, Sam would have all of our hides if we even tried to make it look like that. Have you ever seen a giant angry Esyire cowed by an old man? I have. It's funny and terrifying all at the same time. Regardless, look for the old man who runs everything in the medical bay. Or just wander around till one of the aids comes and asks you what you need. Try not to mention the demonic plants to anyone but Sam, please. We don't need any more panic in the College. Anything else before I leave you?"

Looking around the infirmary Myrn turned back to Uicle and bowed her head. "No, I think I can handle things from here. Thank you for guiding Krogal and I, Master Uicle. I hope that your... Misfortunes come to an end." Myrn had notice the copious amount of torment Uicle seemed to find himself going through. The very foundations of the school seem to give way just to hurt him and Myrn hoped that nothing as bad would happen to others. Myrn than went off to find Sam or one of his assistance. The faster they got this over with, the sooner she could help Krogal with whatever it was he needed to do now.

After getting a check up with Sam, Myrn was told that aside from her flesh wounds she seemed to have no other physical problems. Of course she was encouraged to always come to the Infirmary if she feels unwell, which Myrn promised to do. When asked about how she got her injuries she spun a masterly crafted tale about her travels to the college and her run in with some barbarians from the orc lands. There was some truth in what she was saying: She had been attacked by thorn-vine wielding orcs before, but that was a long time ago. However the injuries she sustained in Khan's office were similar to these, and promising to keep that mishap a secret Myrn referred to this tale. Once Sam accepted her story and let her leave Myrn turned to Krogal. "We should go see what that teacher wanted. It'll be best for us to get on their good side, but we should also make sure this task isn't too difficult for us. I don't know what that teacher could possibly want us to do, but hopefully it won't be as dangerous as Uicle says it is. Now than, shall we go Krogal?"
Done, finally.
Box 297 Yuga and Amon
Amon sharply turned her head towards Yuga as she heard the final tone in the girls voice, a sharp and cruel bark of laughter coming out as she left herself completely open, "I do believe you've yet to trust my evaluation of my value to this school, " Amon spoke a bit condescendingly, seeming to calm down, if only slightly now that she had something to take her mind off the cage they were in. Her orb stopped veering as she seemed to gain a bit of control again. The logical part of her mind knew that it was highly unlikely they would be kept here for long, but every time she looked at those walls, all she could feel was the panic and drive to do what she needed to survive that had permeated within when she had been captured on earth. The robots resolve seemed to broker little back talk, and besides, there were more than a few victims that a he had killed when their defenses were lowered. Yuga had already seemed to have come to terms with this end, much as Amon had been ready to die when hunting, an option that had been seemingly yanked away from her. That thought brought a steeliness to her eyes as she felt a begrudging respect for her. "In that case, I suppose I shouldn't waste any time,"her orb standing still the air as it seemed to be engulfed in a dark purple flame, "I feel no need to make this cruel, so it may be best for you to tell me where to strike so as not to drag this out." She hoped Yuga wasn't too durable, this was the only way she could think to hurt her, doubting her claws and fangs would do much good. "You should destroy my head last. If it is severed from the body I will have no control over it, and my body will defend itself. To that end, destroy my auxiliary limbs first. Than my legs, as after your destroy my auxiliary limbs my body would enter it's defensive mode. I can ensure that you are not harmed, but my body would attempt to save itself nonetheless. By removing my legs I will not be able to escape, and it will give you time to destroy my body entirely." Yuga than lowered one hand and dragged her mechanical fingers across a spot near her waist. "Strike here, as it is weakest. And here," Yuga turned around to show Amon where her auxiliary limbs were linked to her shoulders. "To remove my extra limbs. If you could, try to make the damage minimal. I could salvage my remains later. And lastly." Yuga turned and pointed at her abdomen. "This is the hardest part of my body. It contains my body's power source. Normally striking here would be all you need to defeat me, however even I cannot assist you in destroying it if my body has the means to prevent that. First you must cripple me, and than go for the final blow while I am defenseless. I would also suggest removing my arms to make this easier." Yuga than stood still again with her arms out, ready for Amon to attack her. "Is there anything else you would like to know from me?" Amon shook her head silently, letting out sigh as she heard the laundry list of steps, her orb spinning in front of her as she considered her first move. She had expected this to be rather easy now that Yuga was basically letting her kill her, but apparently even this strange robot was still a slave to her programming. That meant she was actually going to have to put forth an effort to kill her now. That likely meant she was going to be rather hungry soon. Amon could feel her mana eking out as she maintained the fire on the orb, finally seeming to come to decision. It seemed that the best tactic would be to go for those used often on prey much larger than herself. She'd have to go for the joints first, doubting she could simply shear the limbs off. With her tactic decided on, Amon sprinted towards her, knowing the first strike would have to be decisive, otherwise this would drag out much longer than she wanted, seeing as her reserves were already running low due to not eating in since being captured. She leap at Yuga from a distance, aiming her maw at the elbow joint on left auxiliary arm, a feral growl escaping as she flew. She hoped she could at least do some damage, with a bit of leverage at least. Her fiery orb soared at the opposite arm, the rocketing sphere having been used to crack a few skulls before, she was more sure of it's capabilities, especially when wreathed in flames used to melt locks off of many a cage back on Lucius . Body rocking back at the force of Amon crashing into her arm, Yuga had to quickly prevent her body from immediately trying to wallop Amon the moment she she hit her arms. For come reason she went after her elbow joints instead of her shoulders. Yuga stayed quiet however, figuring that Amon was just getting herself in position. Still her body was try to defend itself, so Yuga had to keep telling it that it was not suffering any sort of hostile damage. Which was difficult since the body could plainly detect Amon trying to gnaw her arms. There was some damage being done however, but it would require a bit more effort before Yuga breaks. A lot more effort. Trying to help Yuga made her auxiliary arms shoot backwards, but also close together. This way Amon could get a grasp of boths arms and try to damage them that way. "Be quick. My body is... Trying to fight back." Yuga said with a calm serenity. Amon gave a little yip as Yuga swung her arms back, body flailing for a second as she regained her footing, her hind paws firmly on the ground as her front paws were raised a bit above the ground. Amon rolled her eyes at the robots urging, finding a little trouble finding purchase to pull at offending limb. She eyed the other limb, a bit annoyed to see it unscathed, her orb having to have missed it entirely. She sighed as she realized this was going nowhere seemingly. It would happen that the first creature that wanted her to kill it would be made of metal. The gods above seemed to delight in heaping aggravations upon her. She decided it was time to alter her tactics a bit. She canceled the fire spell on her orb a she let a torrent of mana wash into her. She had always found shapeshifting an easy ruse to pull off, but she rarely changed size. Keeping her hold on the arm, her muzzle seemed to be engulfing more and more of it. With a quick movement, Amon shifted her muzzle to grab both of Yuga's hands. She kept her self from gasping as the mana burned throughout her veins. She had used up what was equivalent to about a day's worth of mana shifting her size like this, the fox behind Yuga now close to the size of a small horse. Placing her fore paws on Yuga's back, Amon pushed with them, trying to push her down as she pulled back with her jaws, attempting to rip the arms from their sockets now. Her gums were starting to bleed from the effort a bit, but Amon paid it little mind. The transformation had drained quite a bit of her remaining energy from the orb and she knew her priority after getting out of this damnable box would be finding something to replenish her stores. Yuga's body fought and struggled, both against Amon and Yuga herself, who was trying her hardest to actually allow this to happen. The best she could do was keep her body frozen in place however, hoping that Amon had the strength to finish the job herself. But sure enough there was a loud creaking noise, and soon Yuga's spare limbs were torn out from her back. Yuga stumbled forward and caught herself before falling over. Her sensors indicated heavy damage, just as she predicted. Her body turned towards Amon as alarms in her head told her of the threat before her, urging her to escape. She had a hard time fighting this feeling off as her legs themselves started to move, meaning that Yuga needed to counter these actions by moving towards Amon. Her body want to run away but Yuga made it move closer. "Good, but not enough. I'm currently over riding my body's auto-recovery right now, but any moment where I'm not actively controlling my body, it will try to run away. I am going to jump at you, grab my legs as I fly past!" Yuga jumped towards Amon, but not to attack her, but so Amon could intercept Yuga and hold her legs down. Yuga purposely missed Amon and flew past her body, hoping that Amon was quicker on the draw. Amon jerked back as the limbs tore off, quickly regaining her footing as she saw Yuga regain her footing as well. She recoiled as the taste of metal, oil, hydraulic fluid, and her own blood mingled in her mouth, quickly spitting out the distasteful limbs. She could feel a ragged tear in her muzzle where she had tore her lip a bit from rending the metal. She'd have to worry about such things later as Yuga was already making a jump past her, metallic limbs rushing by as she slept. Amon rushed to act, ignoring the pain in her mouth as she reacted, cursing as the first leg was missed by mere inches, feeling the metal bounce off of her snout and scrape across her muzzle. She had more luck however with the other leg, managing to grab a hold of...what was the equivalent of an ankle. She braced herself against the shock of a sudden stop Reactively Yuga kicked her other leg at Amon, but she stopped before she could continue. "Sorry! Hurry break it off at the joint like I showed you." Yuga helpfully dragged her finger across the area that Amon needed to strike to easily detach Yuga's leg. Her free leg was stiff, but the jerking motion it was making showed that it was trying to fight, but Yuga was holding it back. Amon nodded in assent, at least as best as she could while holding the robot down. She fought back a bark as a few of the jerks from the other leg nicked her face, a cut over her right eye opening, forcing her to close her eye as it flowed. It wasn't deep, but the flow was steady enough that she wouldn't be able to see out of it until she got it treated. Seeing the spot Yuga pointed to, Amon quickly moved to place herself above the girls abdomen, letting go of the leg after standing on her stomach, a sharp bark after she got kneed on the snout. Anger took hold as she bit down on the offending appendage, yanking her head back viciously, feeling the joint straining, a creaking issuing from it as though it begged for a reprieve from the pressure.
I'm here, trying to finish up out my collab with Fox. Fox, I think we should just end it with my next post and let the teachers or whoever at least see what's going on.
On it.
I am here. Could you PM me a link to a pad, or however we're doing our collab?
Fox do you want to collab the next part or keep chatting? Actually either way we should collab it just so we don't post too much.
