Current Just because you "fight a good fight" doesn't mean you didn't do horrible things.

I'm sorry for anyone who was waiting for me. Some real life stuff happened, but for now things seem calm. I'll try to post in my RP's ASAP.

Meirin Kurenai

Truth be told Mei has never been to Hysteria. She's never taken anyone actually into the city, as the monks typically leave the group once the city was within sight. But it was a colorful place, it seemed so exciting and new. It doesn't even look familiar, and yet Meirin knew it well enough to recognize it. She was almost as enthralled by the sights and sound as Lyn was, and was half-tempted to spend some time looking around the sights. However the mission at hand was more important. One day perhaps she'll come back to Hysteria and enjoy the scenery.

She hoped that the caravan master wasn't too angry at the college still. She tried to cheer him up, but frankly those bandits ruined the mood. She was surprised to meet with the Scarlet Travelers, as she had once provided security for them in the past. She never knew they were aligned with the college, Lucilia is particular. "Learn something everyday." The trip back was uneventful and shorter than the trip going to the college. She wondered if their efforts of stopping the bandits actually helped make the roads safer. She remembered back at the monastery where even if the school was asked to disperse a clan of raiders on behalf of the local villages, it always seemed like a new gang would replace them the next day. It felt odd seeing how... Peaceful Djarkel was. She's only known conflicts and fights here. Maybe it'll do them all some good to get away from that.

Meirin was happy to be back at the college. It was a familiar place to her even though she's been there for less than a year. Alaira took Lyn off, probably to go see the parents. But as she was watching them leave Ssarak came up and asked her how they were going to inform Lucilia about what happened during the mission. Ssarak was concerned about the dangers Alaira posed and Meirin's own face darken at the idea of participating with her again. While she wasn't one to abandon others, Meirin was seriously considering if Alaira wanted or was worth help. On one hand, she was noting but trouble ever since they first arrived to the bridge. Then again, would she really be any better if they just left her alone? Meirin wanted to have nothing to do with her and let someone else sort out Alaira. But deep down Meirin felt that someone needed to help her, to tell her that she's wrong and that she needs to change. Because Meirin doesn't want to feel responsible for Alaira hurting herself or anyone else because no one was ever there for her.

"We should be honest. We tell her that Alaira started a wild fire on a hunch, that she attacked guardsmen under the impression that they were vampires in the middle of the day, and that she holds very little respect about us or the caravan master. She doesn't work well with others and is prone to violence without consulting any of us. Then we can let Lucilia decide what to do with Alaira. However..."

Meirin suddenly began to look angry and marched towards Lucilia's office. "I honestly don't care about her right now. She's alive, and I'm more concerned that Lyn was smuggled onto the wagon. While there's a lot of things Alaira is wrong about, I'm certain that she's right that Lucilia played a part in endangering Lyn. And as mad as I am with Alaira what Lucilia did... That's unforgivable." There was a certain fire in Meirin's eyes. A deep, burning flash that Ssarak would have seen during the brief moments when Meirin fought against the demons. Hatred, anger, and a desire to protect, even if it meant killing others. Meirin took that emotion and controlled it. Instead of letting it loose and control her, she's taken that anger and honed it into a fine blade. A blade that she wouldn't hesitate to aim at Lucilia, more so since Meirin was still carrying her weapon with her, with the intent of getting into a fight. Both verbal and physical.
Sorry for the late reply. I could manage a collab if you want Elite, though I'm also fine with just posting back-to-back. Truthfully I don't get on as much to be able to stay on a pad and collab and I'd rather be able to crunch something out as quickly as I can in the thirty or so minutes I'm on.

Hey Ryo. *waves*

Hello. Busy summer, right?
Cypher you also mentioned that you need the lobster hunt to finish up?
Ebon gave his signature sigh as the anchor girl was pulled out from getting wasted. Calling his R-Types back into The Kingdom Ebon turned towards the leader of the group of girls. "Hmph. Keep your dog on a leash. C'mon. This is a waste of our time." Briefly Ebon did consider questioning these girls about the attacks recently but decided against it. As crass as they seemed, it was fairly obvious to him that they wouldn't need pipes or chains to break into the stores if they had anchors to swing around. And he doubt this random street gang would know or care anything about it. And they still needed to investigate the Horn of Plenty since it doesn't seem like the ComShops had any clues to the attacks. Without another word Ebon left and headed towards the Horn of Plenty district.
Name: Andrew Hunter
Alias/Nickname: Gadget
Age: 17, though a lot of people think he's at least 25
Race: Human
Appearance:
Social Status: Andrew is just a student of the academy. He has something of a reputation back at home, but he doesn't talk about it.
Relations:
Father - Andrew sometimes butt-heads with his father due to ideological differences (Andrew wants to see the world, his father wants him to settle down and take care of the family), but ultimately they love each other. Andrew does want to allow his father to retire and rest, but he can't do that right now.
Mother - Andrew never knew what happened to his mother. She is alive as far as he knows, but he doesn't know what happened to her and his father doesn't talk about it. He somewhat resets her because he thinks she abandoned the family.
Brothers - Andrew has two younger brothers who look up to him. While he finds the annoying as most other brothers do, he still wants the best for them and make sure they don't get into trouble.
Sisters - Andrew has an older sister who's rather aloof. She says that she's Andrew's brother by blood, but she doesn't know what happened to their mother anymore than he does. Left home a few years before Andrew did and was the one who recommended him to join the Academy.
Friends - Andrew used to run with a gang of friends back at California. They were somewhat thuggish, but he made sure not to get wrapped up in their troubles. Still good friends with them and makes use of their connections and skills when he still ran with them.

General Activity: Andrew likes to tinker with things, mostly cars and guns. That or play video games. Also likes going biking.

Abilities: Andrew's has a magically enhanced sensory system. Normally inactive thanks to the power of the Holy Lock, but with training her could hone and control his senses by himself. His senses not only allow him to be much more perspective than most others, but detect things that most cannot, such as linger traces of Essence, illusions, and other aberrations. However right now he has little control over his senses and suffers from sensory overload if he takes it all in at once.

Equipment: Andrew owns a few handguns (Browning Hi-Power, Colt New Service, M1911A1, and his "Pocket pistol" shown in the image. It's chambered for .22 rounds.), a computer, a bike, a suitcase full of clothing, and his dad's old truck (Specifically a Kaiser Jeep M715). He has some cash as well.

Instrument - Andrew's instrument is the Holy Lock. He generally wears it like a necklace, through sometimes he has it wrapped around his arm.

Fragment abilities - The Holy Lock can shorten or extent on Andrew's command, but that's only it's basic ability. It's true power occurs when it's "Unlocked". When it's Unlocked it becomes an anti-magical chain, untouched by any sort of spell no matter what it come from. If it locks itself while wrapped around someone or something, it also seals their power until it the Holy Lock is unlocked and removed. The only issue is that Andrew can't unlock his instrument himself, and doesn't know how. All he does know is that it requires an angel to unlock it, and even then he doesn't know how they're suppose to unlock it.

Fragment personality - When locked the Holy Lock doesn't really do much, so Andrew doesn't know what it's personality is like. But when it's unlocked the Holy Lock will demand "Control" over others, and will make Andrew go and enforce the Holy Lock's will onto anyone it thinks that is being chaotic. Alignment wise, it's very "Lawful Neutral", caring nothing about good or evil, just order and control.

Personality: Will show in IC.

Biography: Andrew grew up in Fresno, California. He lived in a rough neighborhood, but he and his family did their best to stay out of trouble. He never knew his mother; as far as he knew, she left him while he was still a baby, but not before leaving two twin brothers for him and his family to take care of. Growing up Andrew wanted nothing more than to figure out how things worked; when he was given toys he'd take his dad's tools to break them apart, just so he could try putting them back together. It got him into trouble when he started breaking other people's stuff to figure out how it worked too, and it was that sort of trouble that brought him into a gang. His father always told him to stay away from them, but they found him first. Not wanting to give them a reason to harass him or his family Andrew joined them and did his best to have nothing to do with the gang. Still when they weren't causing trouble they were fun people. They taught him how to fix cars and, after some hesitation, how to fix guns too.

While he wasn't a troublesome kid, Andrew didn't really grow up under the best circumstances. He dropped out of highschool when he was sixteen after one of his friends got caught in a gang-related murder, and Andrew had to hide out and avoid the heat. While eventually he was able to come back home, his father was still disappointed in him and wanted him to quit the gang. But Andrew knew that if he did, the gang would only come and start bothering him and his family, or worse, go after his little brothers. Things didn't get any better when Andrew started to hear things. At first it was just a constant noise in his ear, but soon he started to hear voices. Then he started to smell horrible stenches, like being in both a garbage bin and a perfume shop at the same time. Something was going on with Andrew where it got to the point that he was always shivering, but being in the sun caused him to blister and burn.

That's when his older sister told him about Master Melody’s Academy. Andrew's sister had left home a few years ago to travel abroad and found the Academy when she was hired to help with some construction projects. She came home to visit the family, but when she found Andrew in his state she knew it had something to do with magic. She explained to him that it would be the best place for him to go to to figure out what was going on with him, and it wasn't like home was any more peaceful. Andrew initially said no since he felt obligated to watch out for his family, but his sister ensured him that she would make sure that his father and brothers would be okay. A few days later she gave Andrew the Holy Lock, to help stop the pain he was feeling. She told Andrew only a little about the Holy Lock and was more concerned getting him ready to leave.

Honestly Andrew has been having second thoughts about coming to the Academy. He worried about his family, but his sister was much more capable than he was. And Andrew genuinely wanted to do something more with his life than just hang out with his friends and try not to get into trouble. While he has no idea what to expect at Master Melody’s Academy Andrew chose to apply and see what his future holds.
Not to detract the conversation from E3, but I think everyone in my team posted for our mission. Or at least the ones that have been in attendance.
Cool. Are there any particular character types you're looking for? I was thinking of playing a bit of a rogue.
Is this RP still accepting new characters?
Ebon knew they were pushing the girl to her limits when she summoned a bunch of water onto the streets. They needed to deliver a decisive blow now before she actually finishes her attack. Hold his ground and his breath Ebon commanded his R-Types to swarm the girl and blast her. They didn't let up; they filled the air with lasers if it wasn't filled with water. And even if it was the R-Types could safely navigate in water anyways. He launched more Arrowhead R-Types to swam the girl with lasers. He was going to fill her with so many holes water that her blood would flow like the water.
