"Fuuuuuuu-" I yelled, as some random dude picked me up and bashed me against a rock. As he threw me behind him, I preformed a mid-air somersault (laws of physics be damned) and managed a cat like landing on the ground. I've been thrown out of a lot of houses in my time. Turning to the man, or really butch woman, I decided to turn up the theatrics.

"Ladies and gentlemen, you see there is nothing up my sleeves, nothing at all, but with a flick of my wrist and the magic words -Damn You Xythaen- you'll see that there is now a knife." In this situation it was flight or fight, but I work best against a singular foe.

Dashing forward, even faster than when I was fleeing the beggars, I slid between the tattooed man's legs and slashed both his achillies tendons. As the man fell, Ryteb jumped up and stabbed him right in the back. It was crude and crass, but if I took this guys area, I might get a bit of breathing room.

"Next time..." I panted, leaning beck against the rock, "At least be a woman. I prefer to be the one doing the fucking..."
Yeah, but that's because it was a gift. I'd personally prefer a phoenix as it's the symbol of fire, the south, and red in Chinese culture.
It'd more likely be a sea phenomenon, like the Scylla from the Odessey, or the Bermuda Triangle. Unless you know where you're going you get dragged through rocks by the tide and your ship is ripped asunder. Probably a good place for the Marines to use as a prison.
A prison could work. Some of the crew gets captured and so the prison group has to work to escape and the other group needs to get the ship fixed so that they could do a runner. I'd suggest that Hunter and Abigail would be in the group that's arrested, seeing how they probably have relatively high bounties.
@Eklispe I'm gonna change Hunter's personity slightly to make him a bit less edgy. Also change the title to Crimson Demon, as it fits more with his bloody aesthetic.
Dibs on the research room as a map room. Also I'd probably set up a dartboard in there for something to throw knives at. You know, apart from the crew.
@Eklispe I can also help out if need be. I don't want our GM to be too taxed and become unable to run the RP.
So I just arrived in this hell scape and already I'm running for my life. Or would that be death... whatever the point is that as soon as the red haired man had finished explaining everything, a pack of ghoulish people suddenly started chasing after me. They were akin to the beggars that you found in most cities, dirty and clothed in rags, but their eyes had a horrid red look to them as the salivated at the sight of me.

"Meat... fresh meat..." was the phrase they kept muttering as they chased me. Were they really so hungry as to devour an innocent kitsune? Okay, maybe not entirely innocent but I had done nothing to these people. At least, as far as I knew anyway.

My body felt kind of sluggish as I ran. It was like my body had atrophied, as it wouldn't move quite the way I wanted it to. Reaching for my bag of tricks, I realised that I didn't have it on me. Just my luck to lose such a valuable tool when I'm about to be ripped apart by cannibal beggars. The chase went on for what seemed like hours, the wasteland stretching as far as the eye can see. Eventually I saw a peak on the horizon, and so I doubled my pace. I don't know why, I just hoped that there would be someone there who could save me.

The ground turned rocky as the mountain got larger, and some of the beasts had fallen off out of exhaustion. I was starting to feel it too, but fear of death is a great motivator. As I reached the mountain and began to climb, I noticed that the beggars had stopped at the foot of it. They appeared afraid to continue, which was fine in my book.

After I climbed a fair distance from the base of the mountain, I lay back against a boulder for a well deserved rest. Foolishly, I fell straight asleep, the last remnants of adrenaline had left my system and my body desperately needed to rest.
That kinda works. Hunter and Anna meet Abigail at a tavern and join up with her crew, we set sail and get caught in a storm. We survive but the ships damaged, but luckily we encounter an engineer and a doctor.

Now we just need to fit in @Catchphrase
