On the subject of changes, I swapped out Ryteb's stick for a different stick. I feel like a cane is a better weapon for him. Especially as it's essentially a rapier in disguise... :P
@Ogobrogo Sorry for your loss, I hope you can recover soon.
But the show must go on. The director has taken a leave, so it is time for the assistant director to shine. Or for things to go so far off the rails that it turns into a Michael Bay flick. One of the two.
Powers & Abilities: An explosion turned his skin into super dense metal. His insides were vaporized, replaced with energy from the Speed Force. This enables him to tap into speedster powers such as super speed and energy projection. Due to the relative weight of his body, he can't move as fast as the Flash family, but still can reach supersonic speeds with ease.
Personality: Ion has the energy of most speedsters, and the mouth to accompany it. A pretty rash hero, he is generally the first guy to jump in... and the first to get knocked through a wall. Despite this apparent idiocy, he is actually pretty smart. Just don’t stick him in water.
Origin Story: Central City, five years ago. Postgraduate student Sam Moore was working with fellow student John Merci on an experimental energy generator. The testing was going well, and they were about to publish their paper, when the Flash zipped past fighting one of his many, many rogues. The Speed Force energy caused a malfunction in the prototype. It exploded, changing the two scientists lives forever. Sam gained the powers he has today, but John... John was lost that day. Torn between this reality and Quark, he became physically and mentally unstable. Blaming Sam and the Flash, he became the villain known as Frostbite. With his newfound powers, the former student took to the streets to try and stop his former friend hurting anyone. That day, he proved his heroism, and the press dubbed him Ion... well actually they tried Iron Man, but everybody found that a tad stupid.
Powers & Abilities: Sam has been a mechanical organism since his transformation. His skin is metallic, stronger than military grade steel, and his insides seem to have become pure energy. By outputting this energy through his hands, feet, chest, and eyes, he can preform a variety of feats; such as firing a concussive blast or flying at up to mach 10 speeds. He seems to draw this energy from the Speed Force, possibly due to the nature of his origin, which is annoying for him, as the world seems to move in hyper slow motion.
Personality: Ion Knight has the energy of most speedsters, and the mouth to accompany it. A pretty rash hero, he is generally the first guy to jump in... and the first to get knocked through a wall. Despite this apparent idiocy, he is actually pretty smart. Just don’t stick him in water.
