Before anybody does any battling, I'm going to use Devon to give an example of battles and also catching Pokémon.

@mattmanganon I see a few errors in your CS. The first one, the most important, you cant control. The RP is currently full and we have entered a stage where it would be difficult to introduce your character if it matched my vision of the range it should be within:
1. Teenager from ages 15-18.
2. Starting their first adventure by obtaining their first pokemon.
3. Has had little to no contact with Pokémon Professors up until this point.
I conclude by saying that you chose 2 pokemon in the Starter section when no professor has ever given 2 starters to a single trainer. If you were to take out the elements that I have stated and correct your CS, it would still be denied due to us being full. Sorry if that sounds rude but it is how it is.

Lia watched as the three chose their Pokémon. She smiled, remembering what it was like when she had first started her journey 7 years back. She could still remember how Fennekin's pokeball felt that day. She shook her head to see that all of them had chosen a pokemon. She looked at Percy who had chosen a Fletchling and said, "You know, I have a Talonflame who I raised from a Fletchling." She then walked over to them and handed them each a Pokedex. "This is a Pokedex, I would explain what it does but I'm sure you all know. Here, take these too." She pulled out 3 Holocasters from her desk and handed one to each of them. "So we can stay in touch." She then walked back to her desk and started digging through the compartment labeled "Devon's Shit". "And..." she pulled out a pokedex from the compartment's messy inside, but this one said "Seen - 12" on the front where the others had said "Seen - 0", "Could one of you catch up to Devon and give him his pokedex? He should be in Needlesap Town by now." She held out the used Pokedex to them, hoping someone would be kind enough to take it.

@Ryuzaki I wouldn't mind an OOC rundown on how battles will work, but IC we should be good to go.

Well, PvP would be in TitanPad. All battles would work like Anime, as long as you don't dodge every move with a slow pokemon and deal massive damage with a weak pokemon. We would keep a running HP count using THIS SITE to calculate base HP then estimate damage done based on the move, pokemon's type, defending pokemon's type, and a fair bit of friendly argument.

@Draconis Nevyn once you post, I'll react to everybody's starter choice and give those that didn't autonomously take a pokedex one. along with a few other gifts.

EDIT:@JudgeApatow It was fine, but appreciated that you fixed it none the less.

On a side note, should I keep traditional style and teach everyone how to catch pokemon or just hand them a Trainer Card and send them off? Regardless of the answer I will do what I want but I always like feedback.

Azure Flames vs 7 Sins

Turn 1: Yuna

The Man: 4000 LP / 5 cards

"I'll go first," Yuna said, drawing her first five cards. As she looked at them, she realized how familiar, yet unfamiliar, they seemed. Nevertheless, she wasn't going to back down. "I Summon 'Azure Flame Warrior' in Attack mode!" Yuna declared, the monster appearing on the field.

Azure Flame Warrior - Level 4, ATK 1700

"When 'Azure Flame Warrior' is Normal Summoned, I can add one A or B 'Azure Flame' shift monster from my Deck to my hand," Yuna explained, adding the ejected card to her hand. "Now I place two cards face-down and end my turn."

Turn 2: The Man

Yuna: 4000 LP / 3 cards : 1 monster / 2 Spell/Traps

The Man: 4000 LP / 6 cards

The man picked up the first card off the top of his deck and uttered the usual, "Draw." Then he looked at his hand for a second, strategizing. Finally, he pulled one card out and said, "I activate my Spell: 'Call of the Dark Demons'! This card allows me to Special Summon one 'Dark Demon' monster from my hand by discarding one card from my hand. I Summon 'Karn - Dark Demon of Gluttony'!" the man said, sliding one card from his hand to the Grave.

Karn - Dark Demon of Gluttony - Level 5, ATK 1700

"Now, all 'Dark Demon' monsters have an effect both when they are Summoned, and when they are sent to the Grave. First, the effect of 'Karn' activates, allowing me to add one 'Dark Demon' card from my Deck to my hand. I add 'Arina - Dark Demon of Lust'. Now the effect of 'Faer - Dark Demon of Greed' activates, allowing me to draw one card." The man grabbed the two cards that ejected from his deck simultaniously and looked at them for a minute. After his examination was complete, he said, "I set 2 cards face-down and end."

Turn 3: Yuna

Yuna: 4000 LP / 4 cards : 1 monster / 2 Spell/Traps

The Man: 4000 LP / 4 cards : 1 monster / 2 Spell/Traps

"Draw!" Yuna said, drawing her next card. "I Tribute 'Azure Flame Warrior' to Summon 'Azure Flame Captain'!" The warrior disappeared in a flash of light, and another took its place.

Azure Flame Captain - Level 5, ATK 2200, Phase B

"When 'Azure Flame Captain' is Tribute Summoned by tributing an 'Azure Flame' monster, I can Special Summon one 'Azure Flame' monster from my hand or Graveyard!" Yuna explained. "Return, 'Azure Flame Warrior!" The monster that had been tributed appeared on the field once more, standing next to 'Captain'

Azure Flame Warrior - Level 4, ATK 1700

"Now I play the Continuous Spell card: 'Blue Burn'!" Yuna said, the Spell appearing on the field. "If any 'Azure Flame' monster is destroyed by battle or card effect, you take 300 points of damage!"

"Battle! 'Azure Flame Captain', attack his 'Karn - Dark Demon of Gluttony'!" Yuna commanded, 'Captain' rushing forward to slice up the demon with his twin blades.

"I activate my face-down! 'Compulsory Evacuation Device'!" The warrior dissipated into a ball of light, then manifested itself as a card in Yuna's hand.

Yuna scowled as the card returned to her hand. 'Warrior' didn't have the ATK to destroy 'Karn' without destroying itself, so she merely said, "Turn End."

Maple looked at the three youths before her, then shut the door to her office. "I'm sorry if my cousin, Devon, harassed any of you like he did poor Allie," she said apologetically, "Anyway, lets get to the good part! Here I have two boxes." Maple took a step toward the desk as she spoke, "In one box are Eevee eggs, which you are more than welcome to take if your not quite sure what you want in a Pokémon yet. On the other side of my desk, we have a box of Pokéballs containing various pokemon from Fletchling to Pidgey. Im not positive of the exact selection so you can just rifle through it to see if there is anything you want." After telling them all they needed to know about choosing a Pokémon, she walked to the staircase in one corner of the room and went up it. Seconds later she returned with 3 devices in her hands.

@JudgeApatow It is the Fire gym. I can do whatever I want, you are correct. I could have a Delta Trapinch typed with Grass/Rock and wonder guard but I wont because that would be over-powered. I'm going to get a Grass Type somewhere along the way.

HEADS UP to everybody, each Gym Leader has 6 pokemon so be prepared.

@Pink Madness Ummm.... No offence, but I took a quick look at some of your older posts and ummmm.... there were some HUGE grammatical errors in them. I'm uhh... afraid I will have to revoke my approval of your CS. Sorry if English isn't your first language, but I have a touch of Grammar OCD and reading that each time you post would give me a MAJOR headache. Good luck with improving your grammar and future RPs.
