@Uruvion That sneaky reference to Chrono stealing the man's food made my day. :P
And, for the lore whores (If we have any), YES! I did intend to write 4 Sages. That is one thing that makes this different.
*Sees that the science guy is now a bird somehow.*

Da fuq?

65 Million BC (Prehistory)

Cave People dance around their fires gleefully after scavenging for food and bringing back a successful raid on the Reptites, a race of humanoid dinosaurs who wage war on the humans for supremacy. In the Tyrano Lair, Queen Azala of the Reptites prepares to send the next wave of foot soldiers upon the unsuspecting cave people. Somewhere nearby, in a small research facility, one Reptite is hard at work with inventions, concerned not with the war outside.

12,000 BC (Antiquity)

The royal family of Zeal, rulers of a seemingly utopian society, talk amongst themselves of the progress of the Ocean Palace. The family members, Janus, Schala, and Queen Zeal, consult the Prophet and the 4 Sages who serve them.

600 AD (Middle Ages)

War wages yet again, but now between Fiends and Humans. In Guardia castle, the king orders troops to go to Zenan Bridge to defend it. He turns to his Chancellor who gives a nod and says something about a house to the south west of the church being suspicious. The king then calls a knight to head there, hoping that his beloved wife will be there. In that small house, a man stands from the chair he was sitting in. He draws a Dagger from its holster at his waist. It flashes in the dim light that seeps through the window to reveal the word “Arkan” etched into it. The man, presumably Arkan, rushes out of the house and dashes into the woods, dagger held ready.

1000 AD (Present)

Guardia’s Millennial Fair has just begun. Performers are doing everything from racing to throwing Boomerangs. Although some may look weird, nobody takes notice since it is common to perform dressed as a Fiend or Knight. Toward the back of the fair, a group celebrates in prehistoric style, wearing only animal hides and creating primal music. Everybody from Mercenaries to Magic Enthusiasts are here, enjoying themselves. A swordsmith peddles his wares and a fighting robot gives out silver points.

2,300 AD (Future)

The land outside is barren, food is in short supply. A ragged, starving man steps into a strange machine within the metal dome he lives in. His HP and MP are restored, but he is just as hungry as before. Below him is a huge food storage, but the security system has gone haywire and kills all who try to enter.

When do we start?

Today or Monday. I have a gathering to attend on Sunday, and its not of the Magic kind.
@Ryuzaki I like that idea.

Then Its decided! I'll try to write up an opening post today.
Personally, I'd like to not rely too much on Canon PCs.

I like the artifact idea, though. Perhaps the artifact IS the pendant, given it seems to be a key part of Chrono Trigger? Plus, other than the teleporter freaking out, all the time travel until the Epoch is through Time Gates. The Time Gates, iirc, are the result of Lavos' presence and were always there, and they vanish when Lavos is killed. So we don't really need to have the teleporter so much as an accident involving the time gates.

I agree with the statement on canon PCs. They would make the story too akin to the original. Perhaps the artifact simply causes a time gate to appear and afterward above rule from my first post of this double post would apply.
@Uruvion I was simply trying to find a way to begin the story. Lucca could be removed from the party, making a plot hole in that aspect. I was thinking of making a rule: One who has traveled through time once can do it at will as long as there is a time gate nearby.
@Weird Tales Huh, I missed that. in that case, you, @Uruvion and @Xeronoia can start in 1000 AD and I'll be in 600 AD.

The question is how will you guys time travel? I have a few Ideas, one is that Lucca making the Telepod is still canon and a magical artifact that one of you three has reacts with it in the same way the Pendant did, sending the holder back in time to 600 AD. The remaining 2 could do 1 of 2 things. either they could follow the original holder, or try to find out what caused the travel. My second Idea is that possibly @Weird Tales's magical fox curse causes the travel and yada, yada, yada. My last idea is that you all have a run in with some angry Fiends/Mystic and they send you back in time. That idea would require more work since there would need to be another way to travel.
@Weird Tales@Gentlemanvaultboy@Uruvion@Xeronoia
Think were ready to start? I am assuming that @Uruvion, @xeronoia and I wll be the ones in 1000 AD. @Gentlemanvaultboy is definitely in Prehistory. And @Weird Tales seems to be in 600 AD. Any objections?
