what's JRPG though? Japanese Role-Playing Game?
Name: Caenum Clarity (thx elemental name generator lol) ((also alliteration))
Race: Nymph (because I'm lazy to look through the others, I picked a common race)
Age: (How does he/she look like in human years and how old is he/she really) Looks can change, though in his typical form he appears 12, though he is really 9. (therefore paedophiles are his worst enemy)
Gender: Male
Height: 147cm (thanks integer randomizer lol)
Weight: 38.8kg (based on my real weight lol)
Continent: Nymphe
Appearance (picture or description is welcome): sedeptra.deviantart.com/art/Elemental-.. (credit to this 'Sedeptra' that made the image and saved me from having to use Paint to make/describe my character)
Personality: Caelum tends goes with the flow(pun in first sentence, first line), being a carefree and 'happy-go-lucky' kind of nymph. He doesn't care about a lot of things, and instead opts to go with whoever will benefit him the most in the long term. Caelum is intelligent in securing a promising future, as well as creating tactics for success. Whoever gets in Caelum's way will have a hard time against the master strategist and his many capabilities. Caelum his trusting, however this leads to him being gullible despite his apparent intelligence. Caelum acts aloof despite having many fears and being innocent, resulting in him not having many close friends who know of his true self. Caelum is easily bored, and not many things catch his interest, and therefore he has a short attention span.
History:
Caelum lived a typical Nymph life in Nymphe, doing well in school, having fun, studying, though not long ago, when reports of the Demon King started spreading around the Nymphe continent, the leaders of Nymphe started panicking since the new Sage had yet to be found. Surprise, surprise, the newest Sage in Nymphe was young Caelum, however unaware he was of his future. Despite all his protests against going to fight the Demon King, such as "I'm not going to kill or seal or whatever this stupid 'King' thing," he was forced into quick, 'compact' training by the best masters from all over Nymphe. However, Caelum was aloof throughout his training, making him a difficult student and eventually many of his teachers desired to quit, though they were not allowed to.

A particularly enthusiastic teacher, though not a particularly good one, spoke to Caelum one day after his training. "Caelum, I want you to beat the Demon King and save everyone," the master told his student Caelum. Though it was intended to be a pep talk, and it worked, it didn't work in the intended sense. Caelum decided he wouldn't want to be like the teacher, relying on others for help when a time of need came. He would be a good fighter, and beat the Demon King. Plus, he would probably get really rich and have the gratitude of everyone, therefore it was a good deal.

Caelum trained, and, eventually, unlocked his inner potential, as cliche as it sounded. He was ready, and he was sent off to meet the others. To tell the truth, he was already bored.

Weapon: Pressurized water (coming from either his body or water around him)
Pet: Gurgle the Perverted Octopus
Powers: (Don’t go overboard, I will revoke if I have to)
Strengths: (No more than 3)
-Regeneration (comes with stipulations in 'Weaknesses')
-Hydrokinesis (control of all water, regardless of type)
-Able to morph into any shape given sufficient freshwater
Weaknesses: (No less than the amount of Strengths)
-Any part of his body that comes into contact with seawater will be instantly dissolved.
-If blown apart, will take time to reform.
-Regeneration requires sufficient water to replace the lost body part.
-Water requires time to collect at the lost body part for Regeneration.
-Seawater cannot be used for regeneration.
-Huge fear of seawater.
-Can be frozen solid (though this will not kill him, he will be immobile for a long while, still remaining conscious, and also has the properties of water in the solid state).
-Can be evaporated (though this will not kill him, he will have no control of his movement for a long while, while unconscious, and also has the properties of water in the gaseous state).
-Will feel weak if left in extreme heat, or in exposure to the Sun (I mean through the ozone layer too btw).
Other: not rly, I winged this entire application.
@Jerkchicken Each bear species has its own Skills that enable it to fulfill its roles, as well as distinct 'Basic Attack' damage (Basic Attacks are, well, Basic Attacks that aren't Skills) and defenses.
@Sombrero Good ideas, but- koalas aren't bears, and neither are raccoons. Glad you think it'd be fun, though. I'll re-assign Classes if I feel like it. I've also added secret roles (which you will not be informed of) and added a Necromancer. Finally, if you'd like, I have reasons why I assigned each role to each bear.

Grizzly Bear - Warrior: It's a generic bear.
Panda Bear - Cleric: It's Chinese, also China has its own mythology.
Sunbear - Rogue: Smallest bear in existence (besides Waterbears).
Sloth Bear - Monk: Its fluffy tufts of hair make it look like a monk??? (source: google images)
Spectacled Bear - Sorcerer: Glasses = magical
Polar Bear - Paladin: They're big, they're protective, and I guess to me snow is like cooling and shit so = it heals? my logic is weird
North American Black Bear - Runemaster: They mark trees with claws and teeth = secret runes. omg I discovered the next conspiracy
Asiatic Black Bear - Druid: I guess the Asians are very in touch with nature (because rice farming- wait that's racist even though I'm Asian- AUTORACISM!), therefore they must be Druids of some sort.
Giant Short-faced Bear - Necromancer: They're extinct.

(+) secret species
A tabletop, Fantasy-based realm in which bears are sentient and desire control over a human civilization in order to survive. Involves my first time trying to make a good-enough system to do RPGs with, including but not limited to: starting point loadouts, stat checks, various types of guards and their individual stats and, finally, various endings based on creativity.

It's not your stereotypical Fantasy RPG in which there are NPCs that give you quests, instead this RPG's plot is completely player-driven, AKA players decide how they want to do things, when they want to do things and where they want to do things. In other words, aside from the set rules, dice rolls, and set events, players have complete control over how their adventure plays out.

There are many Bear Species as well, which double as Classes. Each bear species has a specific role assigned based on the existing Class their species was based on. I've utilized all bear species and remade them as Warriors, Paladins, Rogues, Guardians, etc.

Let your imagination flow in this Tabletop RPG in which you decide the way you act to take over the human civilization and win the game.

I'll join, why not? A few things I'd like clarification on, though:

1. When you say 'master of six', do you mean we can 'use' all elements?
2. Each character has elemental-based abilities, but how are they manifested/how are they utilized?
You'll have to post here if you want to make a character, as you probably know.
The Species List and what Classes they correspond to, as well as their roles
[Grizzly Bear] - Warrior (Phys. Damage/Tank)
[Sunbear] - Rogue (Phys. Damage)
[Panda Bear] - Cleric (Support)
[Sloth Bear] - Monk (Mag. Damage/Phys. Damage)
[Spectacled Bear] - Sorcerer (Mag. Damage)
[Polar Bear] - Paladin (Tank/Healing)
[North American Black Bear] - Runemaster (Mag. Damage/Support)
[Asiatic Black Bear] - Druid (Support/Summoning)
[Giant Short-faced Bear] - Necromancer (Mag. Damage/Summoning)

(+) secret role additions which you may attempt to guess in your application. If you successfully guess, I will accept it, if it's an incorrect guess, pending result. I will also reveal your role, as well as give you an option to change your Class if you don't like your Class result. However, you may only change your Class in the sheet 2 times (AKA you have 3 attempts). Here's a tip: They're usually related to bears.
Any application in which you attempt to guess a secret Class must be PMed to me and not posted in the thread.

These are the Stats for each PC and what they correspond to
Physical/Magical Damage (Phys./Mag. depending on Class) - Damage output will be (d20+dmg stat).

Hello everyone, I'm Sagacity, and this the first RP I'll create on the site.

In case you couldn't tell from the name of this Roleplay, it's based around bears. Why bears, you ask? I'll tell you later. All PCs will be bears, including you. You're a bear. You come from a forest just outside a human civilization. It's green and brown, mostly because it's a forest. I'll tell you something else. The forest you live in is filled with bears of all kinds, and they're separated not by species, but by Classes. Each bear represents a Class, Grizzly bears for example are Warriors, or 'Barbarians', though they uphold civilized standards.

However, the bears stand united as a single species, uncaring of the differences in species. Much like the filthy humans have different races, so do the bears. They coexist as a single bear species, when in reality they are divided by abilities, split into 'Camps' based on their racial traits. Therefore, bears engaging in inter-species breeding in this forest is rare, if not impossible. Mixed bears have been seen, with weakened racial traits of the races of both their parents. They're known as 'half-breeds', and, as I've said, are rare.

One day, your elder council - made up of elders of every bear species - informed you of the threat the humans posed to the forest. Deforestation, pollution and poaching would cause the bears to lose their home and their lives along with it. To counter this, the council decided upon a single solution - to take over the human civilization in any way possible. Using the abilities of the bears, a select group of individuals working together in a 'party' would take over the human civilization to avoid/prevent the oncoming thread. They know they have to succeed, otherwise they will fall, and so will all the other bears in the forest.

How they try to take over the civilization, on the other hand, is up to you. Customize your party of bear species based on your idea, as some combination of bear species are better suited for some plans more than others, and may fail completely at the task at hand. How will you win this game? It's up to you, use your creativity in ways unimaginable to others.

Sidenote: It is possible to fail, just a heads up.

Protip
-You should try to coordinate your Bear combinations here as well as your plan for victory so you have a better chance of success.

Some things you should take note of:
-If you want to attempt to complete an action, type in your roleplaying talky talky then, at the end of your post, in a quotebox, type in what your finalized decision for an action is.
-There's no respawning or making a new character when you die.
-You can ask for random stat loadouts.
-Your age may have effects on your game, therefore if you desire a 'normal', 'vanilla' experience for this game, select ages from 7-8. Remember, most bears live only up to 25 y/o and start breeding at 7-8, therefore 7-8 is the pubescent age.
-You can have as many bears of a species as you want in your combination, AKA a full Warrior team is always an idea.
-I will PM you any Skills you attain.
-In the OOC chat, please put in a quotebox any point placements you want after leveling up and gaining 2 points. You may not remove points, only add them.
-PLayers act in Turns in the order of when they signed up (first who signed up move first).
-Accuracy (aka whether an attack hits or not) are determined by a d10. If you roll a 1, it's a Critical Fail, and the next attack to hit you will deal x2 damage. If you roll a 2-5, it's a Fail, and you don't hit. If you roll a 6-9, it's a Hit, and you will hit. If you roll a 10, it's a Critical Hit, and you will deal x2 damage.
Hello everyone, I'm Sagacity, and I'm new to the forums, woo

hope I have fun here cheers
