Duncan dismounted his horse and gave the reigns to a stableboy. He had been on a round to check on the guards at the gate and have a meeting with the Captain of the Castle Guards. He wanted to make sure the defences were good and that they would watch out for anything out the ordinary. The Princess needed to be protected at all cost and everyone head to be at their best.

Duncan quickly made his way to the main hall and strode through the doors. When he noticed the princess he stopped and bowed. "Greetings your Highness, I just returned from a quick round and meeting with the Captain of the castle gaurds. Nothing out of the ordinary to report. Is there is anything I can do for you, your Highness?" he asked courtly.
His eyes glanced towards Madeline but he refrained from greeting her just as he was adressing the Princess.

Sarah looked at the purple haired female with slightly narrowed eyes, she noticed some shifts in her behaviour but couldn't quite put her finger on it what was going on. She thought bringing out the pokedex had something to do with but she wasn't sure. Interal she sighed, if only she was half as good around people than she was around pokemon. But then again she was studying as Pokemon Researcher not something that involed knowing much about humans in general.
When Lorie tried to hide the worst dirty patches the movement made it catch Sarah's eyes "That jacket has seen bette times, she must be a seasoned traveller" Sarah thought, feeling the urge to pick up travelling too but she had the Academy to finish first.

When the other woman offered to help Sarah contemplated briefly. She could use the help but she wasn't really used work together with others outside of the Academy.
Sarah then nodded. "Yes, that would be great, thank you." She said with a small smile and as friendly as she could.
Sarah's Bulbasaur had silently obsereved the scene and stepped a bit closer. He extended his vine to the Sneasel as if to shake hands. "Hello there, my trainer calls me Saur, pleasure to meet you." he said jovial. Sarah looked at her pokemon surprised.

Steampunk: Dragons and Battleships

Jillian Bosson

Name: Jillian Bosson

Age: 25

Background: Jillian was born and raised in Baltimore together with her little brother and sister. Her parents both worked full time, her mother as a teacher and her father as a smith. Her grandparent often told her about the surface and what had happend during the Atomic Awakening but both her parents and herself have never seen the surface and certainly never seen the war or the beasts other then a few scarce pictures at that time.

As child, when she wasn't in school, she mostly wandered the streets. Often she nimbly climbed the buildings and jumped from roof to roof, even trying to get on top of the wall. Always trying to get higher and higher. She made it a game to not be caught by authorities. When Jillian turned 16 she fell through the roof of a house belonging to an elderly woman. The woman decided not to turn her over and after severly lecturing Jill she started to teach her how to fix things by telling her to fix all kinds of things around her house as 'punishment'.

When Jillian turned 18 her father learned her his trade, smithing. It was hard to get coal but her father was an excellent smith so he was allowed some coal for important projects. When there was some coal left Jill could smith with scrap metal if there wasn't any she fixed things around the house. Jillian often went to the docks to barter for additional coal and looked at the floating ships with a longing gaze.

At her 21st birthday her parents gave her a toolbelt and a toolbox for smithing and tinkering as they called it. Exalted Jillian took them and went to search for a job as her brother was now learning the trade.
From her 21st till her 25th she did all kinds of jobs on the shipyards, airdocks and on board a ship between cities. Jill worked hard and saved hard because the more she worked there the more she longed to get off the city and fly in the skies. When she witnessed how one of those ships got taken down by one of those beast Jillian decided it was time to fight back and that she could help Humanity with her skill set. She found a ship to enlist in and found herself one step closer to fulfilling her dream.

Personality: Jillian is adventerous and ambitious. She knows what she wants and she goes for it, no detours. Jill can be headstrong if she thinks she is right and she can make rash decisions, not always having safety first in mind. She might take some shortcuts in not work related duties but she is very precise when it comes to repairing and creating. She likes to be around be people and is always in for a game although she is a sore loser.

Crew Position: Engineer

Aspirations: Jill dreams big. She loves fixing things and tinkering but what she really wants is to fly the skies. She aspires to be a pilot one day and who knows maybe even become a captain and have a ship of her own.

Appearance: Jillian has straight chestnut brown hair that reaches halfway her back. She braids it when working and when she is free she has her hair hanging loose held in control with a small braided leather headband. Her eyes are sea green. Jillian is about 5ft3 and is slender. She has a fair, warm skin tone. Jill wears tight fitted dark black trousers and a grey tunic with a sleeveless black blazer. She wears her brown leather toolbelt pretty much constantly. Jillian carries a small dagger in a sheath and a pocket pistol in one of the compartiments of her tool belt.

Duncan Ferrilion

appearance: Duncan is tall with his 5ft12 with broad shoulders. He has regular short black hair and a trimmed beard and moustache in the same colour. He has a well toned body with a warm skin tone but not overly muscular.
Duncan wears black trousers with sturdy leather boots. He wears a light doublet in the kingdoms colours at hip lenght and has a dark grey surcoat with a large coat of arms of the royal family on the back and a smaller one on left (approximately at the height where his heart is) and one the right on the same height the coat of arm of the Royal Guard. He wears two leather wristbands with the coat of arms of his family and his House on them.

what part do you play in the story? As head of the Royal guard he protects the Prinsess and possible love interest in Madeline, the lady in waiting.

short bio: Duncan is a knight, born from a long line of knights. Duncan went through all the training a knight needs before he got officially knighted. Duncan is very chivalrous and charming, he is smart but he will not show it. He usually listens carefully but will try to not show he was, he prefers people seeing him as uninterested to surprise them later. Duncan is a proud man and he might get arrogant from time to time and needs someone to put him in place every now and then. He got offered the position as head of the Royal Guard, when the previous head retired, after he had proven himself a loyal and courageous man who would put the kingdom before his own needs.

Weapons: A knightly aiming sword, a broad seax and a parrying dagger.

powers(optional): Duncan can increase his streng or endurance and so on briefly through some kind of prayer. These chants/prayers can also be used for minor healing and to temporary 'upgrade' an inanimate object. Like a Sword finding its way, a needle pointing to right directions, a stone tinder giving a better spark and so on but Duncan needs to keep his focus to do it and it won't last too long and it has a cooldown. The stronger the chant/prayer the longer the effect but the longer the cooldown.

other(optional): Duncan is very good with the sword and shield or sword and dagger, not so much with bow and arrow or a two handed sword. He can track and is a pretty decent survivalist. He has a very good horsemanship
The House of Chivalry is one of the Houses in the kingdom that have a specified Knightly virtue as core. When they display or use their House virtue it will sort of enhance it have an effect on the one it is aimed at.
Duncan does not play well with arrogant nobility or suitors who think they are better then everyone and don't care about the commoner.
