Loyalty,the ability to command, and of course the ability to fight I think are the only must haves. He can speak proper around the queen and swear like a sailor when her fragile ears aren't nearby and drink his knights under the table to her good health for all I care. And it's fine about the coding. I can't get the images in my opening post to work cause of it T_T I tried really hard to make them show, but they refuse... All in all *thumbs up* I like it!

Hotaru was quiet during the whole exchange though she noted Mera's change in posture upon seeing Zenmaru, and her eyes seemed to narrow a little. Hotaru raised a brow, but decided getting hit wasn't worth the effort and looked at Larel once the whole exchange was over, "Right, I'm dying to hear about your experience as an actor," she smirked before walking in to the room that Mera had said was theirs. Mera waited for the two of them to go in, closing her eyes and trying to get herself to calm down. It wasn't worth the effort to get this worked up over it, it wasn't like it was really all that... she stopped thinking and focused, trying to see if she couldn't use the wood to her advantage and perhaps hear what was going on in the room. It felt childish. It really did, but after hearing what she heard earlier, there was an annoying little nagging voice in her head. "Ya gonna stand in the hall all night?" Hotaru popped her head out, raising a brow at her. "Shut up," Mera grumbled, stepping back in to the room, though still trying to hear what was happening in the other room as she closed the door and took a seat. "Have you ever been in a kabuki?" Hotaru asked her making her sigh in annoyance since it was breaking her concentration. "Not to enjoy it or be in a show, I hid in one once, perhaps on the wrong floor for my tastes," Mera said simply before closing her eyes, hoping that would be signal enough to end the conversation. Hotaru raised a brow, rolling her eyes a little before looking back at Larel, "Anyways, the rest of your story, then."

With this particularly country being a smaller one, there a fewer mages and people tend to be a little wary if the first learn about the person is that they're a mage, rather than some other aspect of them, but there's not like a generic hate of them. It's just something this country isn't as well read up on so non-mages aren't as understanding I suppose is the way to put it. And yes you are right, the servant should work fine, so long as they aren't like so young that them wielding a weapon and participating in battle isn't really a hard concept to grasp. But, if they can hold their own in a fight, why not? Also, I understand busy. I'm a middle school English teacher. This is my escape when I can find the time to get there lol

No, having him in charge of the hold is fine. The world aside from what I've laid out is up for manipulation. The joys of it being a fantasy world. And it's fine that's it's not anime. Images are after all simply so we can put a face to voice. :) Overall, I see nothing wrong with it, so accepted!

Welcome, welcome! :D So glad to see people joining! And yes, Bunnita, that's fine. Anyone willing to fight for the cause really wouldn't be turned away. And as far as pics go, it can be any kind really, I'm not picky as some people find it easier to find a picture that fits their characters using anime and others prefer life like photos. If it seems more people use the anime, I might ask for it, just to be consistent. And yea, it's late here too. Er, early. Like 2 am. I need to go to bed XD

Trying to make a group rp. I've left a lot of the stuff to be filled in by other people so they feel like they contributed to the world, but let's see if anyone will join with it that way XD If not, I'll change it up to be one on on and post it there lol
