Bio

I have been actively roleplaying for around 18 years now, since age 15. Which, as you might have guessed, makes me 33. I've done most of my rping on forums, averaging 2 to 4 paragraphs. Though I also LARP, and have played D&D for about 17 years. Real life has become a larger part of my life though, so my activity has lessened. Even so, I don't think I'll ever stop rping. :)

Sorry it's taking so long. Time has been flying by quite fast for me the last week. =x
So...question. Do you want to rp them going to the beach town first, or should we skip that and get to higher level rp?
The two headed to the inn, where once again it was packed with people. Many people were apparently still afraid to go outside, even though they would revive if they died. Though he didn't blame them. Most people weren't brave enough to fight all kinds of scary monsters when they had basically become real. To Alakai, this still felt like a game though. So maybe it was just a different mindset about the whole situation they were all in. Plus, some people were in groups talking to each other. So maybe they were making plans for the next day instead, choosing to spend the evening and night at the inn just like him and Kali had decided.

Alakai didn't order any food, instead opening his inventory to get some of the food he had cooked during their break. And to his surprise, it was even still warm. As if his inventory worked like suspended animation, time only starting to move again for the object once it was taken out. Which was a very useful bit of information, as that meant they only had to get food maybe once every two days. The rest of his inventory space needed to be kept for loot. He handed Kali some cooked deer meat as well. They would have to do with eating with their hands for now, but it was a lot better than eating the tasteless food from the inn itself.

As they were eating, a man in brightly coloured leather and cloth armour with a lute on his back walked up to the two of them, immediately patting Alakai on the back as he did. "Alakai, there's no doubt about it! I didn't think you would be stuck in the game as well!" Alakai blinked, looking at the man and frowning. "Ehm...do I...know you?" He asked slightly nervously. "What, did you forget your old pal Sam already?" The man asked, grinning widely. "Samuel? I thought you didn't buy Elder Tale!" Alakai replied, starting to smile slightly as well. "Got it as a gift from my parents for good grades. Add me to your friends list man, and introduce me to this lovely lady over here~" He turned to Kali, giving a slight nod. "Ah, well, this is Kali. I helped her during the early access days, and we levelled together a few times. Kali, this is Samuel, or just Sam. We used to be in a raiding guild together in another game." Alakai explained, not sure what else to say. "Nice to meet you." Sam spoke to Kali, deciding he could join them, as he sat on one of the empty chairs. "I'm a bard as you might have guessed. So if you ever need some moral support and buffs, give me a call!"
Ah, okay. Thanks for the heads up. :)
Are you still alive over there? :P Haven't heard from you in a bit. Probably busy right?
"So, through Blackwater, and then through Shaman territory...let's hope the rumours I've heard about those places aren't entirely true..." Zara mused. Blackwater was described as a hell hole. A place that normal citizens should stay away from. And shaman territory was even worse. Rumours of a lot of people disappearing there. Of cannibalism other than from the vampires. Of literal monsters roaming the area. Not exactly her first pick if it was up to her. Kevin seemed to have experience with both area's though. And he was a shaman himself and not nearly as inhuman as people in the city liked to describe his kind. In fact, he might even be more human than her, depending on ones viewpoint. "You're the man with the plan though. So I guess if you think it's safe enough I won't question it." They had only known each other for about a day now. Yet she already found it easier to trust him a bit. At the very least he didn't seem like the kind of guy that was plotting against her. Rather just another 'freak' working towards his next pay.

For the next few hours nothing much happened. Zara wasn't much of a talker either as she had gotten used to living by herself. Quite a turnaround from her days as a bartender, where being social with customers was pretty much a must. Not talking was probably a good thing though. As by now she was starting to feel her feet a little. And even just walking like this took more energy than she had hoped. Which also brought the problem of her probably having to eat sooner than anticipated. But that was a worry for the next day. Today she would be fine. "How much longer until Blackwater anyway? Not trying to sound like a kid...I'd just like to know an estimate." Having to walk without knowing how much longer they had to keep going sucked. With a time frame Zara would at least have a goal to work towards, which would help with her morale a little.
Eh, pretty okay. Might have to start working soon. Not looking forward to that, but ah well if I have to I have to. :)
I'd prefer playing a monk or summoner character. So go right ahead at that time. :P
Just thought of something to fit my idea of a supervillain rp, since you like guns so much. We would basically be godlike super high level characters. So, take a repeating crossbow that can hold a clip of 20, which your character can fire at high speed (like 2~4 times a second), which fires magic energy crossbow bolts instead of physical ones. Boom! Fantasy laser gun! :P I don't see why it couldn't happen considering we'd be at godlike levels of power.
"Ready as I'll ever be. Might as well get going." Zara replied, handing him both magazines for his gun. "Bit of extra ammo. Also got a med kit. Though considering you seem to be fine already after getting shot several times, I guess it'll be more for me than you." The virus didn't exactly give her regenerative capabilities, so she would have to heal the normal way. Considering that, she would probably be quite reliant on Kevin to do most of the 'dirty work'. One or two human enemies, she could take without getting hurt. Anything more than that would pose a problem, for both her and their travel time most likely. As they stepped out Geoffrey watched them from the entrance to the bunker. He was never a man for sweet talk, or goodbyes for that matter. He had...different ways to show that he cared.

Zara let Kevin lead the way. She didn't have a compass or navigation in her eye. Not something she needed where she had been living after all. The trip would be quite long though, so she hoped he wasn't the type to walk at a what she liked to refer to as a military pace. She was basically just a civilian, used to getting around on a bike. Too fast a pace, and this little excursion would be hell for her feet, to say the least. "So, you seem to be the type that gets around in the wastelands. Where do we go? I doubt we just bee-line it straight to your employers. Having to find shelter and all..." Right about now Zara kind of wished she had paid more attention to Geoffrey's lectures about surviving out there. She hadn't seen any need back then, since there was a nice abandoned bunker near the city she could live in.
